Hebrews 11:6 (Amplified Bible)
11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

A. Our faith can please GOD
"But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him."
Without or "choris" in Greek meaning:
1. at a space

Faith or "pistis" in Greek meaning:

3. reliance upon CHRIST for salvation

Impossible or "adunatos" in Greek meaning:

Please or "euaresteo" in Greek meaning:

The word "gratify" in Webster's 1828 Dictionary means:
1. To please; to give pleasure to; to indulge; as, to gratify the taste, the appetite, the senses, the desires, the mind
2. To delight; to please; to humor; to soothe; to satisfy; to indulge to satisfaction.
We gratify GOD not our flesh, it's a constant decision we fall into every moment of our lives here on earth, whether to please GOD or our flesh (human nature). Pleasing GOD gets more benefits for us and no benefit for GOD at all, for our well-being is GOD's concern and priority.
Illustration:
There's a commercial about ice cream candy where we can gratify or indulge in it's taste, but we rather gratify or indulge in GOD's Presence.
B. Believe in two things: GOD exists and GOD rewards
"For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]."

Two requirements of correct faith usage:
1. Believe that GOD exists - beyond the level of belief of the devil.
James 2:19 (Amplified Bible)
2:19 You believe that God is one; you do well. So do the demons believe and shudder [in terror and horror such as make a man’s hair stand on end and contract the surface of his skin]!
The enemy's belief can't end up in worship, every belief must end up in worship, for we worship GOD for who He is and we praise Him for what He has done.
2. Believe that GOD rewards.
Matthew 6:5 (Amplified Bible)
6:5 Also when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward in full already.
Luke 6:35 (Amplified Bible)
6:35 But love your enemies and be kind and do good [doing favors so that someone derives benefit from them] and lend, expecting and hoping for nothing in return but considering nothing as lost and despairing of no one; and then your recompense (your reward) will be great (rich, strong, intense, and abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind and charitable and good to the ungrateful and the selfish and wicked.
We can only be complete and please GOD by believing that He is and that He rewards.

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are my Rewarder and I worship You for who You are.
