“Ask, and it shall be given you,seek and ye shall find, knock,and it shall be opened unto you; for everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth;and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8)

“Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened”. (AMP)
Prayer is the total communication of the inner Spirit with the Lord. It is the deeper yearnings of the spirit longing for the fellowship with the Father,Son and the Holy Spirit; with the positive aim of receiving answer from above.
Hannah in I Samuel Chapter 1 verse 15 pointed it aright.“It is one pouring his soul before the Lord”
The Message Bible in Contemporary Language put it this way: “The only thing I’ve been pouring out is my heart, pouring it out to God”
So, prayer is one pouring His whole heart to the unseen, all-seeing, hearing God. Again, prayer time is the moment to ask, seek and knock till the door of miracle is opened.
Because you are created in the image of God, this made you His property. No child hides from the presence of his father. Likewise, a child of God should not run away from the presence of his caring and loving father. His hands speak of joy, comfort,love,healing and protection. He loves your fellowship and cherishes your communications. When you are Lords’, you will easily understand His ways, desire and voice.
The power of prayer draws you nearer to the obedience of Him that says, “Ask”
Some people love to rush out in the morning, get busy in the afternoon and sleep off easily in the night because they are ignorant of the Master’s desire which is also the cheapest key to success in these critical times. Again, most people listen to the opinion of others around them everyday and easily go off-way from the direction or the ways of the Lord. When you are a spiritual being, you should understand the spiritual things. A spiritual man understands the yearning of the spirit. He moves when he hears through the spiritual ears. Some people always complain that God’s ways are strange to them. It should not be so.
Maybe their faith are dead. Yes! Dead faith brings dead result.
Life is a battle but through prayer, you can be victorious. Jesus is our perfect example. He conquered all His battles and confrontations during His earthly ministry because of His prayer life. His purpose of “all night prayer” syndrome was to stay in contact with His father,so that He will hear His voice, know and do His will. He was much interested in Heaven’s fellowship.
As Jesus was in contact with Heaven when He was on the earth is the same way His children should long for His presence and power. After all, without Him, we can do nothing. (John 15:5) It is only prayer that can link you with heaven for your blessings and breakthrough.
Prayer is the panacea for the world situation today.
It counts on your availability, not your willingness. When you are available, you will know what to do. Our present condition both in our nations,families and businesses need God’s touch. Because we all need success and blessings, it is good to know that we should not attribute weakness, helplessness and dizziness to ourselves. You were created strong and dynamic. Folding your hands and standing akimbo can do you more harm than good. So, if the word of God is true and real to you, you should be strong and not weak worms of the dust.
Now, I want you to understand that you can surely do something in the world that has embraced failure, frustration,wickedness and poverty. You as a child of God should not run away from obstacles,adversities and troubles rather confront them with a spiritual weapon-PRAYER. So, begin now to ask God to give you a broader shoulder to carry heavy loads. You can equally help others. Don’t just look into your welfares alone rather as a warrior fight the challenges of life on behalf of other people.
Child of God, Do you know the thoughts of God concerning you? If you ever know it, success and abundance shall be your portion always. He did not create you to be frustrated in life, rejected and disappointed. You were not created to be a failure and should never take it as your portion. Knowing this can change your destiny positively. Recognizing His thought and wish for you hastens the answer to your prayer. Because you are a unique specie and peculiar vessel,God says in Jeremiah 29:11-12
“ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall you call upon me, and you shall go and pray unto me, and I will heaken unto you”
“For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen”. (NLT)
God wants you to succeed in life financially,spiritually,educationally and maritally. He wishes to give you His peace, security and supply your needs. These are His heart desires for you. Because He knows it, you should also know it. Then call Him through prayer, He will definitely answer you.
