WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS. - PART 2
MARK 13: 28-37
You are welcome to the hour of the trumpeter. It's a moment God, is blessing his people through the undiluted word from Him. We also use this station to position the believers in Christ for the imminent return of our Lord, Jesus Christ-and to warn the unbelieving world to change their ways and not to attract the wrath of God.
So, if you are following us for the first time, I'm telling you to sit tight and listen to the Word from God. It's a moment you will never ever forget in your life.It's so good and pleasant being in His presence, for in His presence, is fullness of joy and power.
Today, in the hour of the trumpeter, I believe that the Holy Spirit wants us to complete the episode or series we started last week which is WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS. So this is the part 2 of the message. The topic is not what we should jump, because many things are happening today in our world. Many things are pointing towards the return of our Lord Jesus Christ,who is coming to take over the rulership of this earth. In short, there is a great shaking going on, even as I preach now.
Let us pray.

Thank you Lord, for planting us this night where the uncompromising word is taught. Thank you for your word which is light and life. May its entrance, perfect its good work in us. Bless my hearer through the revelation of this truth. Sanctify us through your word now so that your name be praised evermore. Thank you Lord for your grace. This we pray through Jesus Christ, Our Lord- Amen
As I said earlier, our topic is “WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS” -PART 2
Mark chapter 13 verses 28- 37
“ Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh; even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished.Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch.Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning; lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch”
You should remember that we mentioned last time,how Jesus from this passage told his disciples,on many amazing facts which may herald his coming. We looked at some of the activities of mankind in our changing world today. I think I mentioned extensively the issue of the fig tree which Jesus pointed to us-to watch. I mean,the people of Israel. In short, as I'm talking now, the world agenda is all about the peace negotiations between the Israel nation and Palestine. The whole world is waiting for a result.
From this point, my friend,you should know that it is the man, the Antichrist- the false Messiah who shall bring a temporary peace between the warring nations. When he has done this, he will go on in the commencement of the 3rd temple which shall be his great achievement. Finally, he will assume the supreme being to demand allegiance and worship. The Word of God said that he will defile the temple and then the eyes of people shall be opened. Then part of the book of Matthew chapter 24 shall be fulfilled.
Matthew 24 verses 15 to 21
“When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains: let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house: and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak. But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on a sabbath: for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be”
Jesus in these passages is talking about the people of the covenant, the people of Israel. Indeed, the time of great tribulation will be a period of operation total brutality. That is why I'm pleading any sinner hearing my voice now to run to Jesus Christ for your salvation and safety.
For now, we are still watching other world events which may usher the end of the age of grace. Beloved, Very soon, this age will expire. Things are getting worse day by day. The heavens should not wait for so long. You should know that the faith of many are waxing cold already and many hearts are fainting because of what people are seeing today. Listen, when you follow men as in this time, you will be disappointed but if you look upon Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, you will not stumble on the way. Oh! Yes, He who endures till the end shall be saved. May God help you to stand and endure till the end in Jesus Name!
When you read the Word of God, you should know that when any age or dispensation is about to close, there is always an increase of wickedness and unrighteousness. This is what is happening now.
So Jesus says, WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS?
What are we not seeing today?
Just listen and see the word of God come to pass in our generation. He says in verse 31 of our main text,
Mark 13 verse 31
“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away”.
The Word of God must, I repeat must come to pass. So all you and I need to do is to watch and pray always for you know not when He will come. The Master always talk about watching. When you watch, you will know more than you know. I will keep you on the state of alertness, readiness and preparedness through this medium. May God help us all!
What are the other things the Almighty wants you to watch for today?
When you see many abominations being legalized in our society today. Actually, we are in the evil days. Immorality and vices are being promoted on daily basis. You should know- the enemy is really prowling like lion, devouring many souls. Many things that were abominable and unheard of, in the time past are gaining some grounds gradually in our society now.
How do I mean?
It seems that gay club are spreading like wildfire today in our society. Any youth hearing my voice now, hear me and hear me well, devil has no free gift. Why am I saying this, this lifestyle is now becoming morally acceptable all over the world. Those who believe it as wrong,are accused of being the ones who have the mental disease or defect. For example,Brazil has paved the way for gay marriage. France has become the 14th country to legalize gay weddings. Cubans are holding marches to protest "homophobia"
What is it?-Homophobia is prejudice or hatred against gay people. Do you know that even, Tel Aviv of the great city of Israel recently had a turn out of 100 thousand people for a gay parade? In France, mandatory sex education for 6 yrs old aims to shift the perception of traditional biological roles. In some cities today, some boys are dressing like girls and girls now attend functions like boys. A boys scout of one of our famous nations, has voted to accept this immorality and so they have marched in a pride parade. Many youths came out in the city very happy,because they have found ‘the light’- as one described it. Really, human race and population are going into extinction.
When the Supreme Court ruled against the Defense of Marriage Act, the National bell in National Cathedral in the Capital city rang for joy, as celebrations broke out in major cities around the world regarding the decision. Do you know that a city suffered two tornadoes after proclaiming that their state gay pride would begin at 4pm? It all happened before the much-awaited time. What a calamity?
In another place, the pride participants viciously beat a Christian street preacher. Are you hearing me?- A pastor was bitten up because he said, I don't believe in evil, while the people are saying, " you must join because the majority seem to be carrying the day" but listen to me, the three Hebrew boys of Daniel chapter 3 said, Oh! King, No Sir! even if God do not deliver us, we are not going to dance all " your musics and should not bow to your erected image.
The three Hebrew boys- Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah popularly known as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego stood for God in Daniel chapter 1 and He stood for them in Daniel Chapter 3. What courage and victory! Halleluyah!
My friend, better stand for God in this time for you shall not burn, Why? The fourth man in the fire is still available to save and to deliver. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! This is our testimony!
Our world is going haywire- turning the word of God upside down in the name of modernism, knowledge and civilization. Really, things are changing. The worst part of it all, is that these abominations are also seen in the church of Jesus Christ now.
Man of God, are you keeping quiet or continue to cheat your congregation with your cheap lies and false promises? You want crowd and not souls to account for at the last day? Look, if you keep quite in the midst of these winds and storms by not preaching the total Word of God, the way it is, very soon, I repeat very soon- the society and worldliness will swallow your congregation and you go home empty- handed and meet your maker regretfully. I know you remember that song which says, "Must I go an empty-handed, and to meet my Savior so and Not a soul with which to greet him. Must I empty-handed go.
Friend, when you see these things- Jesus says, watch- He is at the door.
Watch! Inshort, shine your eyes for more things are on the way.
When you see these things?
When you see that the rise of sexual perversion have defied imagination. A mother recently advised her small girl, please continue with your boyfriend but please always take your drug and pills regularly. What a mother! In short, a Christian mother. Did you catch it?
Today, some countries are supporting abortion. A lady said, it is my body. I Know, but It is the temple of the Holy Spirit. God and His image lives in you. So respect and adore God through your body.
While the world is doing her own thing, Jesus is saying to a believer hearing my voice now, watch these things. As you go for your normal businesses, watch,so that you do not regret your life after here.
Watch these things?
Today, wars and rumors of wars seem to be at all time fever pitch. We now have tribal wars even in our environment. Are you not hearing the war songs everywhere? More ammunitions are being produced today more than ever. Chemical weapons are been used in the Middle East now. Syria and Israel are exchanged fire in the Golan Heights. Conservative reports estimate that thousand people were killed so far in Syria's civil war. Some nations like Iran and Russia were interested in that war.
You should now know the outcome of these events. The nations of Egypt and Jordan sometime have expelled their ambassadors from Israel. Some religious groups are turning against Christians in many places such as Nigeria,Iraq, Turkey and Syria. Some nations like Egypt are seeking the way out of their conflicts and crisis.They have cut all international ties and closed embassies in the land. A recent protest in Egypt was the largest political event in world history.
My friend, don't you know that the economy of the entire world is a house of cards, in which the financial system of one bankrupt nation artificially hold up another. The economy of many nations are being touched today. God says in Haggai chapter 2 verses 6 and 7, that He will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. Now, is the time The Lord is talking about.
Now, you hear of the longest economic recessions in Eurozone.
It may interest you to know from the news of economy of nations that in Greece 65.5 percent of young people are out of work. In Spain, it is 56.4 percent. In Portugal, it is 42.5 percent. And Italy 40.5 percent of young people are out of work. What about African countries?
Many institutions are failing? Nothing stays forever except God.
Better put your trust in God now, more than ever. Many systems are collapsing. This is true. And all are according to the Word of God. So, it’s a moment to be serious and not playing church. Where are you looking to? Where do you fixed your eyes. Remember, outside God, all other ground is a sinking sand.
If you must know,the Bible tells us that the AntiChrist will use the mark of the beast to control the worldwide economy and that private transactions will not be possible. Now, every machinery is being put up in place for this end time agenda. Really, we should pity many people that will be left behind after the Rapture. Really, the only way the Antichrist will be able to accomplish this, will be for him to have a huge database, in which he knows virtually everything about everybody.
Some government of this world now keeps a list of the names of people it considers to be a threat. Some have built a photo recognition of their citizens ranging from drivers license records. Satellites have taken billions of photographs from space with resolution so precise that documents on the ground can be read. With so much information collected on each and every individual, I can see how it would be completely possible, to control all financial transactions, both personal and public, with a single biometric mark -on either the right hand or on the forehead.
Our world has been wired. Friend, there is no hiding place. I mean it. Don't think that no one is seeing you. It is easier now to see you, than before-after all, very soon, everyone should be identified not by name but number. So, numbers will soon swallow names. Just be ready!
I pray for you, my friend at this point. May you not meet the great tribulation on the earth.
And Jesus said, when you see these things?
I must not fail to tell you this as I begin to round up- the black horse of apocalypse are now looming in our environment. Do you know that world food sources are being attacked on every front,and we are just one disaster away from mass starvation? The European Commission is attempting to criminalize nearly all seeds and plants that are not registered with the government.
Have you seen it?
Today, we see the threat of famine. Disease is spreading through the continent of Africa. Most countries are starving. If you go to Syria now, you will discover that crop destruction from civil war is worsening food shortages. Crops all over the world have been damaged and destroyed by weather.
Disease and pestilence are two things that are mentioned by Jesus in Matthew chapter 24 as signs of the end of the age. The bird flu in the world killed or caused the destruction of millions of birds. The new sex bug has been declared worse than AiDS. The Ebola disease is now knocking on the door of the entire world. These are challenges.
The Bible tells us that one of the signs of the end of the age will be increase in knowledge. With this increase, comes an increase of technology. Currently, we are on the brink of creating a computer that not only think for itself, but will actually be aware of its own existence.
The first genetically modified babies have been born. Scientists have created a living embryo of a formerly extinct frog and have cloned a mouse from a single drop of blood.
Beloved Friend, why am I preaching on these things? It is for you to know where the world is heading to. Just fasten your seatbelt and remind the person next to you to fasten his as well.
And Jesus said from verses 35 to 37
“Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning;
lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch”
At this point, I’ve to tell us, there is still hope for you, when you see the world changing. God wants to save you and your family. You can cry to him now for help. He is a present help in time of trouble.
Please, give your life to Jesus Christ and be saved.

"Lord Jesus, I come to you today by faith. I'm a sinner and I can't save myself. I have heard your word and discovered that I need your mercy and forgiveness.
