SODOM WOULD HAVE REPENTED

We sincerely thank God for the people that have been following this preaching of the word of God and some of the amazing facts happening around the world today. We appreciate your love towards this broadcast, your calls and support to see that the truth is revealed in this last hour.

In this edition, we are going to look at some of the dangerous events and spirits prevalent in this age. They can be seen in a life, church, society and nation. The knowledge of these facts will help you understand where we are and what to expect,because a lot of things are happening these days.

Our Heavenly father, sanctify us with your word for your word is truth. Minister knowledge and wisdom to us through your revelation and bring us to the fullness of your understanding. Thank you Lord,as all glory will be returned to you through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The subject is “SODOM WOULD HAVE REPENTED”
Matthew chapter 11 verses 21 to 23
“Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. And thou, Capernaum, shalt thou be exalted unto heaven? thou shalt go down unto Hades: for if the mighty works had been done in Sodom which were done in thee, it would have remained until this day”
From the passage, we discovered during the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, He severely criticized some of the Galilean cities where He performed many miracles. The people of Tyre and Sidon had not repented of their idolatry. God allowed them to be punished by the Babylonians and later, the Persians and Greeks.
Again, the Master admonished the city of Capernaum. He cited the case of Sodom and Gomorrah- the two Godly- defying nations. The story of these cities were recorded in Genesis 19 chapter verses 1 to 11.
Genesis 19 verses 1 to 11
“And the two angels came to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face to the earth; and he said, Behold now, my lords, turn aside, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your way. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. And he urged them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both young and old, all the people from every quarter; 5, and they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men that came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And Lot went out unto them to the door, and shut the door after him. And he said, I pray you, my brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters that have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing, forasmuch as they are come under the shadow of my roof. 9, And they said, Stand back. And they said, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and drew near to break the door. But the men put forth their hand, and brought Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves to find the door”
We saw how how God went to the cities and destroyed them because of their iniquities, which were also recorded in the book of Ezekiel chapter 16 verse 49 to 50
Apart from the abomination of Sodomy in Genesis, look at her other sins;
Ezekiel 16 verse 49 and 50
“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: pride, fulness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good”
God used the picture of Sodom to speak to His people.
Jesus is saying that if He had performed miracles in those cities, they would not have been destroyed. The people would have repented.
Friend, Jesus Christ is pointing to us the privilege, the grace,the life and opportunities many people are wasting in this dispensation.Had there been a prophet who warned these cities, they would have repented!
What a statement and challenge from the Lord!
Really, we are like the inhabitants of Capernaum Jesus is warning today. This is an unrepentant generation! The Lord is saying that He has provided us with many things and yet people fail to turn to Him. The society had deserted Him completely. Families are divided about Him.Some of our institutions have waved "good-bye to Him as in some Christian nations, the teachings about morals are prohibited while the Ten Commandments in the classrooms are erased totally. Our lives are showing that we need Him no more.
Do you know that this generation has all the spiritual paraphernalia surrounding it. We have many ministers of the Gospel. We started by answering pastors, and it looked inferior after some period. We later advanced and everyone embraced the name or title "evangelist". We parade the garment of office and not the mantle.The gift as teaching were given no recognition. From evangelist, we graduated to apostle and now, It seems almost everyone is going with the title "prophet" . This is where we are now!
This generation has different translations of the Bible- In short, I've gotten 26 translations in one Bible. We all have many denominations- uncountable, miracle displays both fake and original; We offer too much prayers, possess many Christian bookshops,and all kind of things to make one know The Lord, yet this is the generation disappointing God.
He is saying, ‘Had these cities gotten a little of what we have today, they would have repented!
Friend, I believe God is not happy with some of the things He is seeing now. Is it an overstatement to say that some of the people He came and died for are disappointing Him, and so no longer interested with some of the things happening here? I know He is still in control.
I told you earlier that when any age is about to close, iniquity and atrocities abound.
Listen, Sodom would have repented if they had what we have today or see what we are seeing.May it interest you to know that upon all our preachings,Bibles and other religious books, our lives are not changed completely. Our nations are absolutely a Satanic one. No wonder, people are turning to something else-all in the name of mocking God. With all our gospels we murder children through abortion, publish a porn- magazines, distribute alcohols to kill more people, defraud people out of their money with a gambling casino as practiced in many Christian nations today. We promote sodomy with pride, even adopt children into that relationship, strip naked and get in bed with camera for all to see in the net, sell body parts from aborted clinics to make money, start some demonic inspired ministries and practice all manner of vices. Indeed, people have taken the God- given freedom to violate God’s Word by committing sin.
Friend, are you worshipping God with your mouth while your heart is too far away from him?Are you spitting at His face and live for the pleasures of sin?
Be warned, the pleasures of sin lasts for a season!
Had Sodom gotten the same opportunity as you, it would have repented.
If Abraham came to our earth now, would he find enough people to prevent God from destroying our nation? This is a question for you. I think not!
Are you a Christian indeed or a hypocrite, hearing my voice now?If God’s children don't take a stand for what is right, who will?
Many things are happening in our world today? I know of a popular world musician who used to honor Playboy magazine founder-Hugh Hefner on their show, featuring provocatively undress women with bulging breasts and skimpy clothing, lying on the floor in suggestive positions, then at the end of the show they'll hypocritically sing a gospel song such as 'Power in the Blood' What a confusion!
There is much evil now as in the days of Sodom. Remember, they had neither Bible nor hear from a radio preacher as you are doing now. In short, the only righteous man in their midst "Lot" sat comfortably with them at the gate, maybe jesting and playing cards. The Bible said, his heart were vexed with what he was seeing but his mouth were sealed. No wonder, he called them "brethren" when they came to his house. He begged to offer her daughters as a ransom. He was ignored till God showed him mercy.
Today, we have different forms of idolatry. Celebrity worship is idolatry. You now hear " American Idol, Nigeria Idol" South African Idol and other idols.
Do you think God is not jealous when you worship many celebrities as a god?
Are we not like the inhabitants of Capanaum? We claim to see God’s blessings and miracles, yet we pay our allegiance to Satan. Today, some ladies are rushing to get plastic surgery and breast implants so that they can look like their favorite celebrity on Tv. Friend, Are you part of this trend? People's mind are consumed with celebrities of all sorts- from music, sports to movies.
Does anyone care about the Word of God anymore?
In many parts of the world today, Sodomites have stolen the once descent word "gay" to represent their sinful group. They have also stolen God's rainbow to represent their vile lifestyle. Homosexuals are trying to put forth the image to young people that the life is a happy, peaceful and loving way.
May I tell you my hearer,that is in this line of activity, there is nothing gay or colorful about being a sin- community, Bible-disobeying, health-risking, HIV infecting, vile, God-defying homosexual!! What is so bright and colorful about HIV?
Do you know as I round up this message that with many ministries like ‘Christian Lesbian Living and Born again Lesbian Music’, It’s not a surprise seeing our generation that is filled with so many preachers and miracles torn apart. Self and pride are now too dangerous words in the Christian life. Where will all these apostasy lead? Surely, the Antichrist will have the world's masses eating out of the palm of his hand when he comes.
Remember, the message " Sodom would have repented"
From where you are hearing my voice, are you examining your life on daily basis or are you ignorantly being conditioned for Satan.
When you look at the second book of Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 10, you will discover that the masses of this world will be deceived when the world dictator comes,because they don't love the truth of God's word.
Friend, with all your profession in Christian faith, are you practicing evil? All you need now is the grace of God daily to escape the things that should happen to this decaying world. Sodom would have repented if they were warned before time. Really, we have all the Cathedrals, Bibles, Decorations, Spiritual make-ups, flamboyances as the Laodecian church, different programs, crusades, night vigils, day meetings, religious raising of seed-offerings,but the question is " What is the real content of our worship and sincere love to God?. Do you have all these Godly blessings, grace and privilege, yet practice evil?
Friend, you can make a mark today!
If you are a Christian, you should stand for the truth always. Be alert and sober for your salvation draws closer than you expect.
Are you an unbeliever, living in sin and iniquity, can't you see the cloud bending?You are misusing the blessings of life provided by God. You eat, sleep and wake up soundly. He sends his rain to you. He protects you and showers his mercy on daily basis, you breathe his air and drink his water. Really, you may be enjoying now but mocking him, thinking you are too sharp and smart.
Let me call you my friend,at least for hearing my voice, You must pay for all these. I mean it,for closing your eyes here is settling for your eternity forever. No sinner shall go unpunished.
Not minding the disadvantage of the city of Sodom in getting what we get, yet because of their iniquity, they were judged.
Jude the brother of Jesus saw it
The book of Jude verse 7
“Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire”
I don't want you to go the way of the Sodom’s. You still have an opportunity to repent and give your life to Jesus Christ and follow him continuously till the end. His coming is at hand.
I will pray for you now if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus, I come to you now by faith. I'm a sinner. Forgive me and give me the grace to live for you. I reject self, the world and satan. From today, I promise to follow you till the end. Thank you Lord for accepting me. Amen.
Now, let me pray for you.
Lord, I thank you for this soul coming to you. I can see the angels rejoicing on his behalf. Forgive him all his iniquities and write his name in the book of life.Please give him power over the flesh, the world and the enemy. Thank you Lord for answering us in Jesus name.
