HIGHWAY TO HELL
Friend, You are welcome to, THE TRUMPETER. Remember, it is a moment we are sharing the UNDILUTED word of God, preparing the saints for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's a moment we also look at the amazing facts happening in the world today and understanding them in the light of the revealed word of God. We also use this medium to warn the unbelieving world about the fast approaching judgement of God
In this edition, we are going to look at some dangerous facts prevalent in this age. It can be seen in a life, church, society and nation. The revelations of this message may shock you.

Our Heavenly father, sanctify us with your word for your word is truth. Minister knowledge and wisdom to us through your revelation and bring us to the fullness of your understanding. Thank you Lord,as all glory will be returned to you through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The subject is ‘HIGHWAY TO HELL’
Luke chapter 12 verses 16-21
“And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: and he reasoned within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have not where to bestow my fruits?
And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry. But God said unto him, Thou foolish one, this night is thy soul required of thee; and the things which thou hast prepared, whose shall they be? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God”
Again the book of James chapter 5 verses 1-6
“Come now, ye rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver are rusted; and their rust shall be for a testimony against you, and shall eat your flesh as fire. Ye have laid up your treasure in the last days. Behold, the hire of the laborers who mowed your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth out: and the cries of them that reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. Ye have lived delicately on the earth, and taken your pleasure; ye have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned, ye have killed the righteous one ; he doth not resist you”
Barely over two thousand years ago, a unique personality made a great impact in the lives of mankind. For only three years, He changed the destiny of many. He died at the age of 33 while grave couldn't hold him. He lives forevermore and He is coming back again. He is Jesus Christ the son of God.
Sadly,in a contrast,another young man of only 33, a lead singer by name Bon Scott drank himself to death. The young man recorded six studio albums, beginning with the one he called "high voltage".It was shortly after the release of the sixth album which he called "Highway to Hell" that he died. The album sold over a million copies during its initial run and has sold seven million to date. The young man abused drugs and indulged in sinful living.
The Word of God says in Psalms chapter 55 verse 23.
“But thou, O God, wilt bring them down into the pit of destruction: Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; But I will trust in thee”
Really, bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days.
Do you know how the singer died?
He was found dead in his car after an indulgent binge left his body lifeless and his soul at the reality of the " highway to Hell". The young man who wore a Satanic pentagram around his neck, had been taking medication for liver damage prior to his death.
Let me quote a verse from his album "Hey Satan, you paid my dues, playing in a rock in' band. I'm on a highway to hell"
He sang and glorified Satan, saying he is the one who paid his dues.
As Jesus went to hell and freed the prisoners therein, a young man decided to walk on its highway. He was not alone.
Many are on the highway to hell.
Well, at least I thank God for Mr Scott who has given me a great topic to preach on today.
Remember, the topic is "Highway to Hell"
Jesus in the passage, the book of Luke chapter 12 verses 16 to 21 narrated a parable of a certain rich man who received bountifully out of his ground. The only thing he remembered to do,was to pull down his barn and extended its boundaries. He made many mistakes. He forgot God, the giver of life and provider of lands. Again, his worst was feeding his soul with a wrong information.
Hear him, at verse 19
“And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry”
Friend, when you feed your soul with rotten foods, you will pay dearly for it. The rich man said that his soul has much goods laid up for many years. What a miscalculation! What can it a profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? Things of the flesh cannot be attributed to the Spirit. He spoke first while the Almighty the creator of all things spake last and gave the final verdict. On that night, the man marched on his highway to hell.
Have you seen where the world is going? You should now know that heaven and hell is real. So, no one should confuse you about this. You must spend eternity somewhere-I mean a place to be forever.
In this trumpeter series, I will preach on the three highways which are landing this generation to hell. Jesus warned seriously in Matthew chapter 7 verses 13 to 14
“ Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it”
Remember, Jesus said " many are finding this broad way to hell". He didn't say few people.Friend, are you one out of these many?
The highway to hell is a busy way.
In this trumpeter, I will focus on,to the three Highways to hell;
1. THE HIGHWAY OF MODERNISM
We are in a terrible age.The Modernists give some evidence of faith in religion which the word of God called a form of godliness but they deny the power thereof. Friend, if you are a lover of negative modernism, you are on your highway to hell. The problem and danger with Modernists is that they are ready to substitute their teachings for the word of God. Today, we have many new age movements and teachings which appeal to the flesh. Modernism is religious liberalism. I know of a preacher teaching his congregation that red lipstick is the blood of Jesus. What a 21st century heresy! I told you that the world has gotten a counterfeit Kings James Version of the Bible, calling it the " Queens James version"which promotes many abominations in our society. Which translation of the scripture are you using? Many of them have watered down the truth of the gospel. I know the New version of the New kings James version which has triple 6 interlocked which is the number 666 produced by one of the end time Beast companies.
Friend, I'm not saying all these things to scare you.You may embrace counterfeit when you don't have the original. Today's world is, the more you look,the less you see.
Some people are being brainwashed everyday. I don't know what you are believing today? This is an age of deception and delusion. Many have sold their soul to Lucifer.
This is the exact time Paul told his son, Timothy about in 2nd Timothy chapter 3 verse 13.
“But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived”
One of my friends and Mentor, Dr John Rice said,
"There are many infidels who claim to be Christians. They fit exactly the dictionary of infidels,denying the essentials of the Christian faith. They are in the church and willfully deceiving God’s people because they want the prestige, the income, the influence of the Christian religion"
The 2nd highway to hell is; HIGHWAY OF KNOWLEDGE INCREASE
Daniel chapter 12 verse 4.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased”
Friend, we are living in a technological world, which is striving to take away the knowledge of God from us. One of the instruments the New world Order will use to rule the universe and torture mankind after the rapture is the many technological equipments which are in vogue now. Do you know that we have many equipments today which may herald the mark of the Beast? Now,we hear of Verichip, that is a technology about the size of a grain of rice which may be placed under a skin, usually on the forehead or on the hand. The chip is able to store detailed financial, medical and other kinds of information of a person. Some countries like Mexico, Brazil, India, US and others are using these equipments today for tracking. One day, when the system is complete, they will link together your thumb print, eye scan, financial information, bank cards, automatic deposit paycheck,the computer sensors inside your car,smartphones,medical records and even brain waves into one complete system that the Government will control.
This is your world today. We are developing? Are we not?
Really,We are the Rapture generation. Are you ready to be with the Lord?
The last highway to hell in this century is;
3.THE HIGHWAY Of QUEST FOR MATERIALISM
This was the climax of the message of Jesus Christ on the parable where we read. Jesus said that the man lived for himself. This is the spirit of this age. Friend, because of covetousness and crass materialism, many people are on their highway to hell. Brother James was so blunt about this in the book of James chapter 5 verses 1 to 6.

Really, some people have heaped treasure together for the last days.
“A woman Liza spent 4 million dollars on her wedding to music producer David . The man, Donald has a taste for fine dining. He has a twenty four hour on call chef and a three hundred and sixty five thousand dollars mobile champagne cooler. Singer Mariah owns a penthouse worth $ nine million which contains five hundred pairs of high heels. Kate owes a pair of thirty thousand dollars pajamas. Singer Christina owns a five minion dollar Hollywood Hills home with a twenty-four foot waterfall and a plasma screen TV she built into the fireplace. Paris Hilton was thirteen years old when she got her first credit card. On her 21st birthday, she celebrated in five different locations, having seventy five thousand dollar parties in Tokyo, New York,Los Angeles and Las Vegas”
Friend, I'm not against all these things. If God blessed you, enjoy your wealth but the basic is laying up your treasure in heaven. Please don't go on the highway to hell because of the love of the world and covetousness.
Beloved, I don't know where you are hearing my voice now? Maybe, you are in your bedroom, church or in a street. Are you moving in a journey? Look ahead for you may not predict in a second what may happen to you. I wish you a successful journey, but watch if you are on your highway to hell. Many things are happening nowadays.
Maybe I didn't mention your case. Are you on your highway to hell through your life of avarice, immorality such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality and others. Is it hatred, envy, gossip or drunkenness?
Many are in hell already. Don't say after all, nobody has gone there to know.
Someone saw the candidates in hell. He saw the mighty ones of this life. How do I know this? You can consult prophet Ezekiel in chapter 32 verses 18 to 32.He saw the multitude of Egypt, the descendants of Noah, the sons of Esau, the princes of the North, the Zidonians. He saw Pharaoh. All are in hell right now. Can you calculate the time of Pharaoh died till now. What agony!
Ezekiel 32 verses 18 to 32.
“Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit. Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised. They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword; draw her away and all her multitudes. The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of Sheol with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie still, even the uncircumcised, slain by the sword. Asshur is there and all her company; her graves are round about her; all of them slain, fallen by the sword; whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the pit, and her company is round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living. There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living, and have borne their shame with them that go down to the pit. They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude; her graves are round about her; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for their terror was caused in the land of the living, and they have borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that are slain. There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; their graves are round about them; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for they caused their terror in the land of the living. And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, that are gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, and have laid their swords under their heads, and their iniquities are upon their bones; for they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
But thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them that are slain by the sword. There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who in their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit. There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who are gone down with the slain; in the terror which they caused by their might they are put to shame; and they lie uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit. Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, saith the Lord Jehovah. For I have put his terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, with them that are slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord Jehovah”
Let me ask you, will you contend a space with these world mighty in hell?
To you, who claims a Christian, with all your sacrifices, donations and commitment, yet you miss Him at his coming or miss heaven because of a little sin or carelessness. After rapture, the people of the world will mock you. You did not gain the world and equally miss the heavenly bliss. What a disaster!
Do you want to avoid this life of regret and this pathway to eternal damnation now and follow He, who is the Way to life- Jesus Christ of Nazareth?
