THE GREAT TRIBULATION
You are welcome to the hour of the trumpeter.
Remember, it is a moment we are using to digest the word of God in our Spirit man, hear God's instruction for ourselves and then be prepared to meet Him when our journey here on earth is ended.
Really, you should know by now that anything which has a beginning must definitely has an end one day. As I pray for your-well being, I must let us know that our souls are more important to God than anything else. From the word of God, I discovered that Jesus replied to Satan in the book of Luke chapter 4 verse no 4, “Food is essential but not the most. For man must survive or live only by every word of God" Mark the word EVERY. It is the standard for living. For anything outside this "every word " is a shadow and an abstract. So we must go for the word always so that we can live.
Our subject today is ‘THE GREAT TRIBULATION’
Matthew chapter 24 verses 21- 22
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened”
The book of Matthew chapter 24 is all about the eschatological teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. Equally, He mentioned about the time called the Great tribulation. Many people have not heard about this while some who know, do not know much or how it may look like. Because, it is in the future, it is not yet clear but we have an answer from the mouth of one who possesses the future. Our master, Jesus Christ.
He is saying, that in a sooner moment from now, great tribulation shall set in. It is a period not seen since the world began and will not be after it. Beloved, Everything about the end time is already revealed in the word. God will never allow His children to be in the dark.
Now what is Great Tribulation?
The time of the great tribulation is a period of seven years from the Rapture of the church to the second coming of Christ. It is known as the time of Jacob's trouble in the book of Jeremiah 30 verses 6 to 7 and 70th week of Daniel as in Daniel chapter 9 verse 27.
Jeremiah 30 verse 6 to 7.
“Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child: wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it”
Daniel 9 verse 27
“And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate”
If you have been following us, you will know that we preached on the Rapture in one of the previous editions of the Trumpeter. Again, you should know there is a difference between the Rapture and the second coming of Christ. The Rapture is the coming of The Lord with the shout of the Archangel to take His church in the air while the second coming is His descend with His saints at mount Olivet. In short, the Rapture is Christ coming for His saints while the Second Advent is Christ coming with His Saints.The interval is the Great tribulation going on in the earth.
The subject of the Great tribulation were first introduced in the book of Jeremiah where the prophet calls it the time of Jacob's trouble. Why was it called so?
1. To remind you what Jacob passed through in his journey of life when he took his brother's birthright, deceived his father Isaac and ran away to the house of Laban. The journey wasn't easy for him. Remember in Genesis chapter 47 verses 8 and 9 when Pharaoh the king of Egypt asked Jacob how old he was? He replied that his days of the years on the earth were few but full of evil.
Have you seen the picture? He was telling the king, that it wasn't easy for him. He passed terrible sufferings, tribulation and hardship. That's the meaning.
2, The reason why it is called Jacob's trouble is because many of its activities, though worldwide will center mostly on the Jews in Israel.
Friend, you must have heard that Jesus Christ is coming again to take His people. If you have not heard it, hear it now. Jesus Christ is coming back again. It may be now as you are hearing my voice this night. How ready are you? The world is running fast towards judgement. Are you not seeing or hearing what is happening globally now?You should not be caught unawares.
This world after the Rapture will not be enjoyable.Believe me. As you do you your normal businesses now, just know that something harsh and terrible is on the way. You cannot be here forever - no matter what you do.
The time of great tribulation will be a time of great holocaust more than that of Adolf Hitler which killed over 12 million people, half of those being Jews. You know history always repeat itself. When Jeremiah said something about it, he compared its suffering to the birth pangs of a woman - very painful and un-bearing. In Ezekiel 22 verses 19-22, we see how that God is going to cast Israel into "His Melting Pot" where they are to be refined as "gold is refined" With all these pictures, you will now begin to know what we mean or driving at. My listener, I should ask again, what is this life after the Rapture?
So, as you are hearing my voice, I don't know how you are living your life. You know, some people are lost in the garden just like Adam and Eve and now, covering themselves with fig leaves. It’s amazing how people now,hid inside the church, lost,but always covering themselves with many paraphernalia. Some of us have embraced big titles and names yet lost in eternity.You know, the easiest place to get lost now is in the church. Just register with one and cover yourself with the name. No wonder, today you hear something like, I'm attending a living church. The other replied, I'm charismatic or evangelical even orthodox. My listener, this is not the issue. The main issue is, Is your name in the Heavenly book of life? If not, just be ready for this great tribulation we are talking about. Look at how you are struggling to survive now, how much more when the world Dictator , the Antichrist will bring out his program for the entire world. I wonder how you will make it!
When Jesus Christ was telling us about His coming in Matthew chapter 24, you should know that He majors on the nation of Israel.
The book of Matthew chapter 24 verses 15-22
“When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains: let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house: and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak. But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on a sabbath: for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened”
Here, the master was referring to the Jews, the people of the Covenant. God has decided to protect them from the hands of the Antichrist, who will come in the name of peace settlement. He will give a momentary peace to Israel and Palestine and afterwards commit an atrocity at the temple. You know what is going on now, the peace negotiations for the people of the Jews and her neighbor, Palestine. As I'm talking to you now, it is still on course. Remember, the UN Secretary of State, the man, John Kerry has not rested because of this. Recently, a world religious leader visited Israel, all in the effort of bringing peace in the Middle East. Friend, as a lover of peace, I thank God for all these plans but listen to me, these people may not usher in the golden peace but one man, is on the way who will do it. But let me ask you, How can the world bring a lasting peace when it has rejected the Prince of Peace, who is Jesus Christ.
So, the first three and half years of the tribulation may be mild, quiet and loving so that the unholy trinity - the beast, the Antichrist and the false prophet ( who will have the knowledge of Politics and Religion) will lure people into their net and then the final three and half years will be operation brutality.
I'm pouring my heart to you in this end time series as God is warning the inhabitants of the world to repent. But let me say here, if you miss the rapture, do not take the mark of the Beast in identification with the world system, or government. I think I preached extensively on this before when I opened up the MARK OF DESTRUCTION and HERE IS WISDOM in our previous editions.
Jesus said that heaven and earth shall pass away but his words shall not pass away. So, the great tribulation is coming. Just mark the word "great" showing that it is not going to be friendly. In the middle of the Great tribulation, the Antichrist breaks his covenant with Israel. He goes into the Jewish temple to declare himself to be God, to fulfill the scriptures about the abomination of the desolation.
I thank God for the Jews that are able to escape, God has a sanctuary for their protection for the last three and half years until Christ returns. This can be seen when we read Revelation chapter 12 verse 6
Revelation 12 verse 6
“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days”
Please, the woman mentioned here is no other than Israel. The book of Revelation 12 verses 14 to 17 gives us some insight concerning their escape.
Why am I saying all these in the trumpeter, is for you to get ready for your redemption draws more nearer than you expect. It is not a time to live in hypocrisy, stealing, killing, envying, gossiping and committing immorality or other vices. It's either you are a Christian or you are not. Enough of these cover- ups. You know nobody knew that Lots wife was a camouflage. She was in the house deceiving everybody both the husband, Mr Lot and her kids but the day of the sudden departure revealed her true color and identity. Beloved, heaven will be a real surprise! So, we should go on to examine ourselves on daily basis lest we stay outside the kingdom forever. And you know what it is!
If it is true that we are at the doorstep to the time of this Jacob's trouble, that the great tribulation will soon be upon us, then we must sound the alarm for people to get ready because the enemy is at the gate.
You know what! Listen as I give you the picture of how the moment may look like after the Rapture according to the ministration of the spirit.
During the time, things shall progressively get worse and worse.
Remember, what the word of God said in Revelation chapter 3 verse 10.
“Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth”
So, many Christians will not be ready. Majority may be caught unawares. They are called the great tribulation saints as seen by John, the Beloved and recorded in Revelation chapter 7 verses 9-15
“ After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands; and they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation unto our God who sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels were standing round about the throne, and about the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, These that are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and whence came they? And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them”
As I said initially, a man shall arise as a peacemaker and mediator in the Middle East but, he is not of God. Everything is been put in place for his coming as you know, any moment from now, the reconstruction of the third temple begins. By the time, the full tribulation is in swing, there shall be civil disorder, rioting, violence, looting and much panic in the whole regions. These may lead to the declaration of martial law in many countries.
Friend, are you hearing me? The militaries and forces should be summoned to stop the civil arrest and to disperse the hungry, homeless and rioting masses.
I'm not saying all these things to scare you but to tell you the exciting hour you are living in. You should not joke with this hour of grace, lest you pay with your own blood.
At that time, the world president will urge calm in the midst of chaos.With a serious, fierce face, he will urge submission to the authorities and compliance to the declaration of Martial law. Things shall get worse. There will be civil disorder, violence and looting in every city. Many people will lose their homes and possessions. Gangs of civil rioters shall roam the streets, looting people's homes for food. There shall be terrible murder cases and rape. People should be ordered to stay inside while the greatest target should be the Christians who missed the glorious departure. Persecution and torture should then follow. Christians will be blamed for everything that has gone wrong in the world, for all the civil unrest, and for all the economic chaos, and for all the woes that have risen in the world.
Do you know that Police vans should drive through streets, and you will hear frightening voices through the loud speakers, ordering people out of their homes. You may hear something like these " THIS IS THE FORCE, YOU MUST VACATE YOUR PREMISES, THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY, YOU MUST COMPLY. I REPEAT, YOU MUST COMPLY, DISOBEDIENCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED" What follows is, they will begin to mark the population with the mark of the beast. Just like marking cattle for ownership. Then you begin to see mass house raids, into people's homes, kicking doors down, checking each house one by one in every city to check who has, and who hasn't taken the mark. People should be hurried out of their homes, regardless of their conditions and maybe taken to a temporary camp for investigation and torture.
Friend, where will you be in the midst of all these? Who are you going to blame?Your millions in the bank will not answer at that time. Your beauty or those things you acquired through deceit shall not count anymore.
Daniel then said, but such as do wickedly against the covenant shall the Antichrist pervert by flatteries, but the people that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that are wise among the people shall instruct many, yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, many days.
Remember, friend, because of the starvation, dehydration, no shelter, floods, extreme cold, separation, torture , anxiety, demoralization, persecution and news of the missing loved ones, the morale of the remaining Christians shall fall lower and lower. Some may give themselves up and those who refuse the mark of the beast are put to death. Some may die in the painful colds of the death camps awaiting their execution, either from starvation or exposure to the elements.
These are the horrible situation of the great tribulation

This time is coming into focus now. World economies are beginning to collapse; there has been strange weather changes showing up globally, massive record breaking hurricanes, devastating increase in earthquakes around the world, storms and tsunamis killing hundreds of thousands, wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom
Now, the question is, Are you ready to surrender your life to Jesus Christ,,,Now!

Lord Jesus, I come to you now by faith. I'm a sinner. Forgive me and give me the grace to live for you. I reject self, the world and satan. From today, I promise to follow you till the end. Thank you Lord for accepting me. Amen.

Lord, I thank you for this soul coming to you. I can see the angels rejoicing on his behalf. Forgive him all his iniquities and write his name in the book of life.Please give him power over the flesh, the world and the enemy. Thank you Lord for answering us in Jesus name.
