THE SECRETS THE DEVIL KNOWS - PT 1
The three things about the devil is that he is not omnipotent, omniscience or omnipresence. These belong to God alone. Devil is not everywhere but he uses his demons who bring information to him. So, he knows some secrets about God’s children because He knows what God can do for his people. The worst thing is that some children of God are not aware of these secrets. This is what happened in the life of the richest man on the earth- the man Job.
JOB 1 VERSES 1-10
“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and turned away from evil. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the children of the east. And his sons went and held a feast in the house of each one upon his day; and they sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt-offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and renounced God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. Now it came to pass on the day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah, that Satan also came among them. And Jehovah said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turneth away from evil. Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath, on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land”

What is Protection?
a. It is your defense
b. It is your Divine vaccination
c. The power of Immunity
d. Going with a Divine body guard
e. Your cover, shield or shelter
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT DIVINE PROTECTION
1. The Lord protects His people- Psalm 91:3-8, Psalm 20:1, Isaiah 31:5
From the story of Job, you will discover that God made a HEDGE for him. A hedge for (a. Himself, b. His house c. All that he had)
2. There is no way God will protect half and leave the rest. (Everything)
3. Divine protection is for every side. North, South, East, West, ( Every side)
THE SECRETS FOR DIVINE PROTECTION
1. LIFE OF INTEGRITY - VS 1
God doesn't protect anyhow person. You must have His mark which is integrity. In other words, you must be PERFECT. Job was perfect.
a. The work of God is perfect. You are part of it- (Deuteronomy 32:4)
b. The ways of God is perfect. His child should not be a crook – (2 Sam 22:31)
c. God demands your perfection. – (Matthew 5:48)
Your life of integrity : life of goodness, honesty, uprightness.
It procures your favor
It gives you cover
It introduces you
Some people received testimony out of it.

b. Moses - Numbers 12:3
c. Daniel - Daniel 6:4
2. FEAR OF GOD VS 1
Anytime, you fear God most, you fear the devil less.
The fear of the Lord commands His presence for your life.
The fear of the Lord is God taking His your place in your life.
a. Fear of the Lord will make you value someone - Leviticus 25:17
b. Makes you stronger and bolder - Numbers 14:9
c. It extends your years - Deuteronomy 6:2
d. It brings preservation - Deuteronomy 6:24
e. It is the Lords demand - Deuteronomy 10:12
f. It makes you live carefully - 2 Chronicles 19:7
g. It is a pathway to life of wisdom - Psalms 111:10
h. It attracts Divine compassion - Psalm 103:13
I. It destroys lack - Psalms 34:9
j. Attracts Angelic visitation - Psalm 34:7
3.HATRED FOR SIN
Sin in every form is an insanity. Once there is sin, there is absence of God (Isaiah 59:1-3)
Life of righteousness makes Divine protection real
Some people were protected from their life dangers.
a. Noah - Genesis 6:9 (saved from the flood)
b. Abraham - Genesis 15:6
4. LIFE OF DEVOTION- VS 5
Life of devotion makes Divine protection possible
The devil knows it and so will always give you SLEEP
For Job, No matter his wealth;
a. Had time to monitor his children
b. Had time to rise early for them
c. Had time for God himself. He was not carried away by his wealth or influence.
God is saying, if you seek his face, He will protect you.
These men had time for God in their life of Devotion;
a. Elkanah - 1 Samuel 1:7
b. Daniel - Daniel 6:10
c. Joshua- Joshua 24:15
d. Abraham- Genesis 18:19
God is looking for early morning risers;
Abraham - Genesis 19:27
Jacob- Genesis 28:18
Moses - Exodus 8:20
Joshua - Joshua 3:1
Elkanah & his family -1 Samuel 1:19
David - 1 Samuel 17:20, Psalm 55:17; 5:3
Jesus - Mark 1:35
5. LIFE OF SACRIFICE VS 5
Your sacrifice draws down the hedge from the Lord for you
As large as Job's family were, he offered sacrifice according to their numbers. He secured their future.
If the heathens know how to give to their gods for protection, why can't we do more?
Your offerings, vows, pledges, tithe brings your hedge.
There is no way you do all these things and God overlook you.
Watch the ways of the people God that were noticed because of their sacrifices;
a. Noah - Genesis 8:22
b. Abraham - Genesis 22:13
c. David - 2 Samuel 24:25
d. Solomon - 1 kings 8:5,63
One thinks in the whole scripture, the person who offers sacrifice more was the man, Solomon.
These five things brought Divine protection . The enemy saw the hedge. Did you see it?
