Lifestyle of Worship
Concept:
1) A man cannot separate his actions from his heart.
2) A man's actions are the fruit of his life.
3) The fruit of our life is worship unto the Lord.
Worship is a lifestyle (lifestyle: the 'style' in which you live your life.)
One of the personal examples that led me down this path of thought:
The other day I was driving on the interstate (in the fast lane) when a sports car entered the interstate and moved directly into my lane, and then drove at least 10 mph less than what I was originally driving.
Well, this was a great inconvenience because of my schedule and the importance of my time. :o)
I got close enough to their car I almost took the wax off of their bumper. Then when I could, I passed them without completely leaving my lane, and then I wasted no time coming back in front of them to continue down the road.
And then it happened... I realized the Jesus had been there watching this whole thing, and I had no choice but to acknowledge my sour attitude, and ask for forgiveness.
I realized again that day, that my every action can either please Him, or displease Him. Therefore, all I do, every decision, every action, every attitude... either brings him a smile or a frown. It is all WORSHIP.
So in my action I showed my heart and attitude, my action was fruit of the inner thoughts of my human frame, and my actions, fruit, heart, and attitude was a savor that He either enjoyed or disliked.
My thought about worship… Worship is an attitude linked with an action.
Worship is created when we take something from earth and mix it with the heart of man along with his intention, and then offer it to God.
