The greatest Revival in history: It’s not just the healing of bodies or a church catching on fire again, or even an organization or a denomination being re-fired
All through the history of the church at different times in different places there have been great revivals that have had tremendous impact on their communities, their states and even nations and societies have been transformed as the result of God sending Revival
But no Revival has ever equaled the depth and the width of the revival of Ezek Ch 37
An entire nation was raised from the dead in one day
The reason I want to draw your attention today to this mighty revival; is to show you the awesome omnipotent resurrection power of the HolyGhost.
The reason that is so important is because: God does not change, and he is no respecter of persons of people, of race, of country, or nation.
It doesn’t matter if your rich or poor, educated or uneducated, black or white, young or old.
The point I’m making is: The same HolyGhost and power that blew through Ezekials bone yard that day and produced the greatest revival in history, is the same HolyGhost moving in the church today
Ps 85:6 David asked the question: Wilt thou not revive us again that thy people may rejoice in thee.
That seems like a very appropriate question for the day and the hour we live in: When sin is running rampant, and much of the church has grown cold and lazy and indifferent.
And you look around you and you wonder can God do anything in the midst of this?
And the answer is: Yes (Yes he can, Yes he will) By the same mighty wind that blew through that valley of dry bones, then blew through the upper room on the day of Pentecost, and set upon each head as tongues of fire.
Yes he can, by the Power of the HolyGhost
It’s the HolyGhost and Fire that produces revival
You can have the most beautiful church, the most talented singers, the most educated preachers, (Central heat and air, and padded pews) But if you don’t have the Power of the HolyGhost it’s just a dead formality.
It’s the Anointing that destroys the yoke
When we look at Ezekial 37 We see the awesome power of God (resurrecting, healing, restoring) We see God putting broken things back together again, we see hope coming into hopeless situations, we see that there is no problem, no situation, no condition too hard for God.
For with God all things are Possible, And all things are possible unto them that believe.
We see that the power of God to heal and restore and mend and make new, is greater than the devils power to kill and steal and destroy.
Jesus said: The thief comes to steal to kill and to destroy, but I am come that they might have life and that more abundantly. Jn 10:10
I came today to prophesy in this house and tell you: Dry bones are going to live again ( It doesn’t matter what the devil has done or how bad the situation or condition is: God is greater.
There’s no sickness he can’t heal
There’s no bondage he can’t break
There’s no addiction he can’t deliver you from
There’s no sin he can’t save you from
There’s no relationship, no marriage he can’t restore
There’s no pit he can’t pull you out of
David said: He lifted me up out of a horrible pit, he set my feet upon a rock and established my goings.
Ezekial looks at this valley of bones, ( dried, broken and scattered)
They represent all the brokenness all the fears, all the hopelessness and confusion, all the sickness and diseases of humanity
And he sums it all up under one category ) They were very Dry
The category of Dry: Means in need of the presence and the power of Gods Spirit
(I’m talking to somebody right now who is in need of Gods presence and power to touch your life.)
Somebody here today is suffering from the condition of dry bone syndrome.
I don’t know who you are, but I know you’re here listening to me right now, (I know that in many ways it seems that everything is going good in your life, but there is at least one or more areas of your life that is dry and causing you a great deal of pain and discomfort.
In otherwords there is some area of your life that you need the power of God to flow into and bring restoration and healing and deliverance.
You need the resurrection power of God to bring life into that dry bone condition.
I came here tonight not to analyze or criticize but I came to prophesy, I came to prophesy to those dry broken places, I came to release the power of God into your valley places, and I came to tell you that the dry bone specialist is in the house.
(You don’t have to leave like you came) you may have come here lost, sick, broken, confused, oppressed, bound, afflicted) but Doctor Jesus is on call tonight and he didn’t come here just to diagnose your problem, he came to deliver you (to set you free).
He didn’t come here just to medicate you so you could live with the mess, he came to get you out of the mess.
Jesus is the healer, he is the miracle worker, he is the baptizer in the mighty HolyGhost and power.
The bones came together bone to his bone, Sinew, muscle, and flesh and skin came upon them (They were still dead bones)
They were all dressed up as it were, They were looking good, they had it altogether, (it would appear) But they were still DEAD
Dead bones and dry bones are not much different (neither one can help themselves or help anyone else)
The difference is: (Those who are dead in sins and trespasses don’t know what true life is;) They have never been quickened or made alive by the Spirit.
On the other hand
Dry bones at one time experienced life, they were raised from the dead:
(they had the joy of the Lord, they had liberty, they had freedom, they had peace, they knew the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit but they lost it.)
They let the anointing leak out, they let their lamps go out, they drifted away from the presence of the Lord.
They became worldly, and selfish, they became pleasure seekers instead of seeking the presence of God.
But the good news is: It doesn’t matter whether you are Dead or Dry there’s hope for you.
It doesn’t matter if you’re lukewarm, dry, or cold, and have never known the Lord, (It doesn’t matter if you’re a backslider and you have walked away from the Lord, or if you’re sitting right here faithful singer attender, tithe payer, but Dry, no joy, no peace, no fire, no passion, no anointing.
The answer is the same:
Jesus loves you and he wants to send the power of the HolyGhost into your life.
He wants to heal you everywhere you hurt, he wants to restore your joy, your peace, he wants to send that same HolyGhost that came through that valley into your life right now.
We all have broken places, in our lives, we have all suffered loss in some way, we have all went through dry places, dark places, painful and confusing places.
We have all had attacks on our joy, our peace, our minds, our bodies, our emotions.
And in those places you have to decide: I am not going to quit
Ecclesiastes tell us there is a season and a time for everything, but the one thing there is no time for and no season for (is quitting)
No matter what you are going through you must decide: I am not going to quit.
I’m not going to quit going to church, quit praising, quit hoping, quit expecting.
You must be a fighter
That’s your options: You can either be a fighter, or you can be a quitter and let life, let the devil, let hell beat you up and break your bones and leave you out to dry.
Or you can throw back your head, square your shoulders, look the devil in the eye and tell him. (I’m no quitter)
The 3 Hebrew boys could have easily quit: They were thrown into a fiery furnace
Joseph could have easily quit: Betrayed by his brothers, falsely accused by Potiphars wife, and thrown into prison.
Paul and Silas could have easily quit: They could have given up on God, given up on their ministry, they could have been angry at God, angry at people and fallen into self pity.
But instead of midnight being their quitting place it became the turning point.
I came to tell you tonight: There is a wind blowing, there is a fire falling, there is a resurrection power, resurrection life in this house right now.
If you’ll just tell the devil right now ( I ain’t a quitter)
When you make the decision (I’m not going to quit) Then you’re going to make room for the power of God to come into your life.
There’s no power that can resist the power of God.
I don’t care what you’ve done or what the devils done, or how bad it looks or how bad it feels.
God will raise it from the dead if he has to.
(He’s the God of the resurrection)
Revival is his business
He’ll Revive your:
Health
Joy
Peace
Marriage
Dream
Mind
Emotions
Finances
And they stood upon their feet an exceeding great army
God is raising up a mighty army right here, right now.
How many would say by the up lifted hand: I need Revival ?
I need God to Revive, restore, heal, resurrect me, (My health, marriage, ministry, family, my soul, my dreams)
Revive us Again
