Never before in our history has there been a greater need for Men and Women of God to stand up and speak up, Never before has the world and the church needed a voice like Elijah’s to thunder the call to righteousness and holiness
At one time on any given Sunday you could walk into our churches and hear the pure unadulterated Word of God being proclaimed in Pentecostal power with evidence of conviction and souls being saved and devils being cast out and captives being set free, but today in many of our churches sad to say there is a watered down bless me message that has no power to convict the heart that does not condemn sin and has no power to heal the sick or set the captives free.
Once again the Spirit of God is searching, is calling: Is there a Man ? Is there a Woman ? Is there somebody who cannot be bought, who will not be intimidated or manipulated by public opinion who will speak thus saith the Lord so sin can be eradicated and God can be glorified
Standing on that mountain facing off with a backslidden King (a false religious order) and a nation that accepted a polluted religion that mixed the worship of Baal with the worship of God.
Elijah knew: There is only one thing that can destroy this polluted mixture of religion and worship and turn this nation back to God alone (They must experience the fire of God)
I’m here tonight to tell you: The only thing that can turn the tide of secular humanism and the fascination with the occult, and stop this unholy mixture of Christianity and Islam and stop this nations slide into anarchy and total depravity is for us, (the church) the called out ones, the blood bought ones, the redeemed) to have another visitation of the Fire of God.
The church must catch Fire again
The prayer of the church and the resounding cry from the church must be (send the fire again).
The first place the fire must fall is on our pulpits:
There are people standing behind the pulpits in many churches today who are bound by pornography, social drinking and gambling. Mainline denominations are ordaining homosexuals and lesbians to preach the gospel.
Many preachers have fallen into the prosperity trap and they are money driven, they live loose and worldly lives.
They don’t fast, they don’t pray, they don’t seek God, they have no relationship with God, They are just pulpit celebrities.
Example: LA Preachers.
Lord send the Fire to our Pulpits
Then the fire must fall in the pews: Sin has gotten comfortable in many of our churches today, few Christians really pray anymore or study the word of God. Ball games, track meets, concerts, recreation, going to the lake, or back yard barbeques have all taken the place of closet time with Jesus.
Believers have found a soft comfortable spot on the pew, but have hearts that are hard, callous, lukewarm, they’ve lost their first love, their passion for God has died and they’re just going through the motions.
They still know when to shout and when to cry and when to clap, but there’s no fire, no power, no anointing.

Next: The fire of God must Fall in our homes
Many Christians today have developed an unholy appetite for entertainment that is not of God, and is actually very sensual and worldly filled with lust and deception, homosexuality and lesbianism, and because it is funny they swallow it down.
The devil is very sneaky: He believes that if he wraps his poison in humor that Christians will swallow it because it’s funny.
The fire of God needs to fall on our entertainment and purify our lives until we won’t receive anything vile, unholy, or impure.
David Said: Psalms 101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes:
You need the fire of God to fall on your internet and burn up everything that shouldn’t be there.
You need the fire of God to fall on your cell phone.
You need the fire of God to fall on your music.
Could you honestly invite Jesus to watch what you watch with you and listen to what you listen to with you?
How much impurity, How much sin are you making allowance for? How tolerant have you become to the vile and the unclean?
What are your kids watching and listening to?
Do your kids hear Dad and Mom praying in the Home?
Do your kids ever hear you worship God in the home?
Do your kids ever see you reading your bible in the home?
Is your house a house of Prayer?
There is only one answer for us: We need the Fire of God
We were created for the Fire
Our baptism is a baptism of Fire
They used to make fun of us and call us holy rollers and they said it was all emotionalism.
Yes there was emotionalism, because the fire of God touches every part of your being.
(Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally)
The Fire of God is our heritage
It is not an unwillingness on Gods part that keeps the fire from falling, (it is a lukewarm ness and indifference and tolerance for the spirit of worldliness on our part that holds back the fire.)
Mtt 24:12 Because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold
Because sin and lawlessness and worldliness shall abound, the fire the zeal the passion shall wax cold
When we get sick of this worldliness, and we get hungry for God and begin to cry out to God, heaven will respond as it always has (God will answer us by Fire)
2Chro 7:1 When Solomon prayed: The fire of God came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices: and the glory of the Lord filled the house.
1Chro 21:16 David built an altar and God answered him by Fire from Heaven
Lev 9:24 There came out a fire from before the Lord and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat, which when all the people saw (they shouted and fell on their faces.)
All through the bible: He has been a God that answers by fire.
And he does not change.
Right here listening to me tonight in this place and a wherever you may be, He is still the God that answers by fire.
America, Africa, The Philippines, Argentina, Brazil, China, Japan, around the world, it doesn’t matter where you are (God is the same) he will answer by fire right now.
Why are there so few places, so few churches, so few ministries experiencing the true fire of God?
(They are not asking for it)
They have a comfortable religion that works for them and they are satisfied.
They know that when the fire falls it purifies, it convicts, it exposes, it demands separation from the world. (And it’s a price they don’t want to pay)
If we want the Fire there must be:
1. An Altar: There must be prayer, there must be hunger for God, and there must be fellowship with God.
2. A Sacrifice:
I beseech ye therefore brethren that you present your bodies a (living sacrifice) holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service.
When Elijah prayed on Mt Carmel God answered him with a baptism of fire.
1 Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
When the true fire of God falls: There is nothing that can resist it.
It will burn up everything: It will burn up walls and barriers that separate and segregate the body of Christ, It will burn up false religions and dead traditions
It will burn up all our theories and arguments and criticisms.
When the fire of God falls it will burn up doubts and uncertainties.
When the fire of God falls it will burn up self righteousness and hypocrisy.
When the fire of God falls: He will purge his temple
When the fire of God falls: There will be conviction of sin (sinners will get saved) and saints will get sanctified and start living holy lives.)
When the fire of God falls Miracles, Signs, Wonders will be common place in the church.
All that is of the devil will be burned up by the fire of God.
Sin sickness disease, bondage, oppression, fear and anxiety, poverty, lack, addictions, habits (They cannot resist the fire of God) even the stones were burned up
That tells me that even those things that have been there a long time will be burned up
It also tells me that even those sicknesses and diseases, that medical science calls the worst and terminal, will be burned up by the fire of God.
What we need tonight is fire on the mountain (Not fire on Mt Carmel)
We need fire on Mt Zion (the church) the body of Christ.
As you lift your hands and lift your voices: I believe there’s some fire falling right now
