God is not unjust!
Hebrews 6:10”God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”(Memorize)
During these 40 days of fasting, I am feasting on the Word of God! I am thoroughly enjoying! Every day I am able to dish out from what I relish, cherish and get nourished!
You know what, I don’t have to feel that my efforts and endeavors are unnoticed, I don’t have to worry that I am not appreciated for the work that I painstakingly do, I don’t have to worry that none appreciate me, I don’t have to worry that none pat my back, because I am one hundred percent sure that my God keeps a perfect account of all that I do! Glory to Jesus! Aren’t you happy? “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded."(2 Chronicles 15:7)
Certain portions from the book of Chronicles moved me deeply and I was extremely comforted with the thought that men may forget our sincere work but God keeps a record. Give Him a loud applause will you? He deserves it! Now enjoy this portion along with me…..1 Chronicles 23;17” but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.” Do you know who is Rehabiah? He is the grandson of Moses! Observe the Bible says that Rehabiah had ‘very many sons!’ The mere mention of the name ‘Moses’ is enough to draw gasps of admiration, woops of delight and other extreme reactions ! What a man! His articulation was lucid and felicitous. His integrity, commitment, hard work, obedience and discipline had fetched praises from God Himself who said, ‘Moses is faithful!’ He may not have crossed to Canaan, but the generation of Moses were greatly blessed. Your efforts are not only noted by God but would be rewarded! Moses grand kids and great grand kids were blessed. The kids of Aaron also were blessed, read: “Aaron was set apart to dedicate the most holy things, that he and his sons forever should make offerings before the LORD and minister to him and pronounce blessings in his name forever.” (I Chronicles 23:13)
Whenever we slog it out for a particular meeting as a family, I can be assured that ‘goodies’ would be reserved for us after the event. My, my how much He cares! Every project of ours has been given to us as a reward after we had struggled hard and worked for a meeting. During the initial days of starting our Abide Public School, we had faced tremendous financial and various other problems on every side – we were literally choked. On one particular day, we had no funds to pay the rent for the school premises and the lady who owned the building came and sat in the front room of the school and refused to leave without the money; it was the MOST humiliating experience of my life. I had nowhere to go for funds. I locked the room and wept at His feet, finally I told her that I would vacate for which she said, ‘do it immediately.’ The next day as we were packing to leave, a distraught mother of three children came into our school sobbing and held my hands to accept her three kids into our school. She never knew that I was a broken woman myself on that particular day, but I gladly took them into our school. Later, I understood that just when I was discouraged and downcast about the present situation of the school, God brought new admissions! Hallelujah! They were no ordinary kids but three kids of a rag picker, who were aimlessly loitering the streets. Today, they are sheltered in our school and are groomed well.
God closed that door so that He would open another door for our school, we hope God would soon give us our own building for our school, so that the kids are safe and secure. Nothing goes unobserved! He knows the tears, fear and angst! Rewards are reserved for our efforts!
