VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. JESUS does not need to offer sacrifices day after day
"He has no day by day necessity, as [do each of these other] high priests, to offer sacrifice first of all for his own [personal] sins and then for those of the people,"
Hebrews 10:11 (Amplified Bible)
10:11 Furthermore, every [human] priest stands [at his altar of service] ministering daily, offering the same sacrifices over and over again, which never are able to strip [from every side of us] the sins [that envelop us] and take them away—
The day after day schedule of high priests as detailed:
Numbers 28:2-10 (Amplified Bible)
28:2 Command the Israelites, saying, My offering, My food for My offerings made by fire, My sweet and soothing odor you shall be careful to offer to Me at its proper time.
28:3 And you shall say to the people, This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without spot or blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
28:4 One lamb you shall offer in the morning and the other in the evening,
28:5 Also a tenth of an ephah of flour for a cereal offering, mixed with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil.
28:6 It is a continual burnt offering which was ordained in Mount Sinai for a sweet and soothing odor, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
28:7 Its drink offering shall be a fourth of a hin for each lamb; in the Holy Place you shall pour out a fermented drink offering to the Lord.
28:8 And the other lamb you shall offer in the evening; like the cereal offering of the morning and like its drink offering, you shall offer it, an offering made by fire, a sweet and soothing odor to the Lord.
28:9 And on the Sabbath day two male lambs a year old without spot or blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of flour for a cereal offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering.
28:10 This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
Hebrews 5:3 (Amplified Bible)
5:3 And because of this he is obliged to offer sacrifice for his own sins, as well as for those of the people.
Hebrews 9:7 (Amplified Bible)
9:7 But into the second [division of the tabernacle] none but the high priest goes, and he only once a year, and never without taking a sacrifice of blood with him, which he offers for himself and for the errors and sins of ignorance and thoughtlessness which the people have committed.
Leviticus 16:6 (Amplified Bible)
16:6 And Aaron shall present the bull as the sin offering for himself and make atonement for himself and for his house [the other priests].
Leviticus 16:11 (Amplified Bible)
16:11 Aaron shall present the bull as the sin offering for his own sins and shall make atonement for himself and for his house [the other priests], and shall kill the bull as the sin offering for himself.
Because the sacrifice CHRIST offered is Perfect, and that is His blood and body on the cross, He needed to ceased from this activity and do it only once. He is Sinless Perfection so there's no need for Him to offer sacrifices first, for His own sins and then for the sins of the people. He dealt with it right away, He became sin for us, so that we can be the righteousness of GOD.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)
5:21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
B. JESUS offered Himself as Sacrifice once and for all
"because He [met all the requirements] once for all when He brought Himself [as a sacrifice] which He offered up"
Hebrews 9:12 (Amplified Bible)
9:12 He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us).
Hebrews 9:14 (Amplified Bible)
9:14 How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?
Hebrews 9:25 (Amplified Bible)
9:25 Nor did He [enter into the heavenly sanctuary to] offer Himself regularly again and again, as the high priest enters the [Holy of] Holies every year with blood not his own.
Hebrews 9:28 (Amplified Bible)
9:28 Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him.
Romans 6:10 (Amplified Bible)
6:10 For by the death He died, He died to sin [ending His relation to it] once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him].
Once and for all, CHRIST did His Sacrifice once, never to repeat it again, hence He said while on the cross, "It is finished!" No celebration like the holy week can perfect it, no human being can allow himself to be nailed on the cross to act it as though he was the CHRIST. It ended up with the First Sacrifice, and that's it.
IX. CONCLUSION:
I am saved once and for all because CHRIST is my Perfect Sacrifice and Great High Priest and I am His royal priesthood.
