Hebrews 7:1 (The Message)
7:1 Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of the Highest God. He met Abraham, who was returning from "the royal massacre," and gave him his blessing.
V. THESIS:
CHRIST always meets with us, communes with us and blesses us with His Presence. I am more than Abraham because I saw face to face JESUS CHRIST my LORD, who is my King of Righteousness. Abraham saw only a glimpse of CHRIST, but I saw CHRIST Himself, who dwells inside of me.

VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Melchizedek king of Salem and priest of the Most High GOD
"Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of the Highest God."
Melchizedek = “king of righteousness” He is the Pre-Incarnate CHRIST. He even presented Himself to Abraham as bread and wine, two symbols of remembrance in the Holy Communion. No one can be called king of righteousness during those days, because as the Bible says, there's no one righteous, only Abraham became righteous because of his faith, and Someone is Greater than Abraham those days and His name is King Melchizedek. (Pre-Incarnate CHRIST), that's why CHRIST said He met Abraham, though, not in the form of CHRIST but as Melchizedek.

14:18 Melchizedek king of Salem [later called Jerusalem] brought out bread and wine [for their nourishment]; he was the priest of God Most High,

King Melchizedek also meets with us regularly and regularly blesses us with Abraham.
IX. CONCLUSION:
CHRIST always meets with us, communes with us and blesses us with His Presence. I am more than Abraham because I saw face to face JESUS CHRIST my LORD, who is my King of Righteousness. Abraham saw only a glimpse of CHRIST, but I saw CHRIST Himself, who dwells inside of me.
