New CEO!
Genesis 41:41”And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt."
Bill Gates and Ballmer have led Microsoft since it’s founding in 1975, during the recent farewell speech at the company's annual shareholders meeting on Nov. 19, 2013, held for Steve Ballmer who has been Microsoft CEO for the last 13 years, choked with emotions Mr. Gates said: "It's a complex role to fill - a lot of different skills, experience and capabilities that we need," he said. "It's a complex global business the new CEO will have to lead.” Hunting a new CEO for a giant Organization like Microsoft is no small job! Sit up for a powerful message!
The pagan monarch Pharaoh of Egypt was also looking out for a powerful man with eclectic skills to take up the office as the ‘CEO OF EGYPT!’ The ‘plum job’ was not announced neither was it advertised! It was hidden! God does not exhibit like the way the world does! The faithful are blessed! The one who perseveres like Joseph, focusing on God and His Power and not on the struggles, pain, humiliation, rejection and agony are the ones who would be chosen! It’s not all about qualification, nationality, personality, charm, rhetoric style, experience or language skills but here I’m talking about favor of God! FAVOR OF GOD! Are you listening?
Pharaoh was looking for a deserving candidate! Here I remember the scripture found in 2 Chronicles 16:9”The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” The eyes of the Lord was on a man who was languishing in the prison for 13 years! Joseph! Let me expand, Joseph had no professional qualifications nor did he have any technical skills! Much of his time and youth were spent in an Egyptian prison very close to the palace of Pharaoh! At times, the ‘blessing’ would be very, very close; yet, God conceals it until the right time of exposure! The trump card that Joseph had was God! Are you listening young people?
I am speaking to someone out there who has been ignored, rejected, overlooked, humiliated and shelved for several years – all is not over yet! Hang on! Let me read out what David said: Psalm 31:12 ”I have been forgotten like one who is dead; I have become like a broken vessel.” Do you feel that way? If so, this message is for you! It has travelled to your inbox to speak with you! Cheer up friend!
I know there are many out there looking for greener pastures, hunting for a better job with heaps of benefits and a big fat salary. I am not against you being ambitious but check out if you are being greedy and avaricious. Check out if you are blessing God with the harvest! Check out if you are making a wise decision! Separate quiet time with God every day, read the Bible and fast once a week in order to get His favor.
Remember this, God is not moved with frustration but certainly faith touches Him!
