Jesus the Christ is our Mediator.
A mediator is like an arbitrator/lawyer.
The word Mediator is from the Latin meaning to be “placed in the middle”.
Jesus the Christ is our Mediator; in other words, He is standing between us and God.
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Juan 14:6 “Jesús le dijo*: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida; nadie viene al Padre sino por mí.”
So then the primary purpose of Jesus’ mediation was to bring reconciliation.
II Corinthians 5:18-20 “18- And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19- To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20- Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

The powerful reconciliation of Christ brings atonement and redemption.
Jesus is not a half-way Savior, He always finishes what He begins.
For He is the “author and finisher of our faith.”
Jesus never fails us. His power, His wisdom, His love, His grace, are always sufficient.
Jesus removes our guilt and that power sin has over us;
He saves our souls from death, and gives us new life in Him;
He purifies our minds and hearts; His work is a complete work!
His “gift” to us today is eternal life; a life that lasts forever without end!
A life that never dies; a life that cannot be lost.
They say that when a vase is broken into pieces and the pieces are glued back together that the new bond is stronger than the original was before it was broken.
This is even truer of a broken life glued back together by the strong Grace of our God.
The union between God and redeemed sinner, who has been reconciled by the precious blood of Jesus, is closer and stronger than the union between God and the pre-fallen Adam!
The bond of Grace is one which affords a constant inflowing of God’s Divine Grace into your soul; ever refreshing!
Romans 8:35, 37 “35- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 37- Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Jesus is the man in the middle of it all.
Jesus was in the middle of: Doctors of the Law in them Temple at 12 years old; 2 thieves on the cross; the lampstands in the book of Revelation; wherever 2 or 3 are gathered together in His name;
He was suspended between Heaven and Earth in open shame.
Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Jesus is the man in the middle of it all.
If (God forbid) you refuse the Mediator whom God appointed (Jesus the Christ), you in essence are refusing to be at/have peace with God.
This is wage war with God.
To battle with God is to battle against your own best interests to the ruin of your very soul.
Let all those here today who are willing to accept Christ as their Mediator, bend their hearts at a throne of grace (the altar); for we have beheld His glory, full of grace and truth!
