Passion for change becomes passion to conquer .When passion for change develops in you, you receive a spirit to fight everything that is against your life until you conquer.
Nothing can stop a man or a woman that is driven by the passion for change ,the passion for change is the passion to conquer.
AND JESUS ENTERED AND PASSED THROUGH JERICHO. AND BEYOND ,THERE WAS A MAN NAMED ZACCHAEUS , WHICH WAS THE CHIEF AMONG THE PUBLICANS ,AND HE WAS RICH.AND SOUGHT TO SEE JESUS WHO HE WAS ,AND COULD NOT FOR THE PRESS ,BECAUSE HE WAS LITTLE OF STATURE.
AND HE RAN BEFORE ,AND CLIMBED UP INTO A SYCAMORE TREE TO SEE HIM: FOR HE WAS TO PASS THAT WAY.AND WHEN JESUS CAME TO THE PLACE ,HE LOOKED UP,AND SAW HIM,AND SAID UNTO HIM,ZACCHAEUS ,MAKE HASTE ,AND COME DOWN ; FOR TODAY I MUST A BIDE AT THY HOUSE.
AND HE MADE HASTE ,AND CAME DOWN ,AND RECEIVED HIM JOYFULLY.AND WHEN THEY SAW IT,THEY ALL MURMURED ,SAYING, THAT HE WAS GONE TO BE GUEST WITH A MAN THAT IS A SINNER . AND ZACCHAEUS STOOD, AND SAID UNTO THE LORD ; BEHOLD ,LORD THE HALF OF MY GOODS I GIVE TO THE POOR ;AND IF I HAVE TAKEN ANYTHING FROM ANY MAN BY FALSE ACCUSATION ,I RESTORE HIM FOURFOLD.
AND JESUS SAID UNTO HIM ,THIS DAY IS SALVATION COME TO THIS HOUSE ,FOR SO MUCH AS HE ALSO IS A SON OF ABRAHAM . LUKE 19:1-9
Zacchaeus has a passion for change. A man with a name ,a position and riches,but seeking to see Jesus and to know Him.He however could not see Jesus because of the crowds and his short stature.
The moment your desire and your passion for change develops ,hindrances will begin to speak to you.Their goal is to discourage and to stop you from taking any action.The voice of your hindrances will not lie,it will say the truth about you.
Hindrances are not meant to stop you from reaching your goal ,they are meant to make you discover your weakness and inabilities so that you may know what you need to workout in your life.
HINDRANCE REVEALS YOU TO YOU.
Zacchaeus realized that he could not see Jesus and know Him as was his expectation ,but he never gave up,inspite of his hindrances.
When some people encounter a hindrance they settle down and begin to murmur,complain,and accuse others ,but men with a passion for change do not flinch at the face of hindrances,they look for a way out.
Zacchaeus never sat down and began to murmur because of the pressing crowds or his stature ,he sought for a way to realize his dream.The bible records he ran a head and climbed on a sycamore tree to see Jesus.
Zacchaeus ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree .He was a head and above.When you grow above your hindrances and your circumstances it does not matter if they come or not they cannot affect you because you are not just ahead you are above. This sycamore tree was not there incidentally, it was prophetically and strategically placed and positioned to provide a way out for Zacchaeus . The sycamore tree was ordained to be a way out of his hindrance. There is always a way out of every problem and hindrance ,but it takes a man with passion for change to locate it. Do not circum to the voice of your hindrances ,find out the way that God has provided.
Do not give up when you face these hindrances ,passion for change is passion to conquer. Fight till you conquer ,till you see a change. When you overcome your hindrance you position yourself at a place where you will not need to fight so as to see him,instead he will be the one that sees you before you see Him. Zaccheus wanted to see Him but after fighting and conquering hindrances ,Jesus saw him first. Jesus told him to make haste and descend from the tree for He must visit his house.
CAPITALIZE ON THE MOMENT OF YOUR VICTORY
Men with passion for change capitalize on their moments of victory. Zaccheaus hastened ,came down and received Him joyfully . He did not descend slowly ,he descended in haste .Why? To capitalize on hour of his victory . When the doors you have been waiting for so long finally open before you,do not linger out there ,seize the moment jump in quickly do not delay your miracle.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR CRITIC ROOM TO STOP YOU.
The moment he moved in to posses his victory ,his past began to speak. Every time you overcome the influence of your hindrances your history will begin to speak.The people began to speak against him saying that Jesus has gone to be a guest of a sinful man. They gave to his past ,his yesterday. When men and the devil fail to stop you from appropriating your goals through the voice of your hindrances they began to capitalize on your past mistakes to discourage and stop you from realizing your destiny.Do not allow your history or your past mistakes to stop you from pursuing change.Every one has a past but glory be to God because He has dealt with our past at the cross of Calvary .AMEN
Zaccheaus never exchanged words with his critics ,rather he fitted himself with a deaf and dump attitude ,and this strengthened his victory. Men of passion do not allow critics to stop them from achieving their dreams.Zacchaeus focused on meeting Jesus and knowing him ,and not on his critics .When you focus on your critics ,you definitely lose focus on your dream and start fighting wrong battles.A wrong battle is a battle that is not your purpose.Battles that are not in your purpose only drain your strength so that you lose the battles that are in your purpose.Zacchaeus overlooked his critics .He treated them as though they never existed and remained focused on his dream ,fighting the battle in his purpose.
His critics quiet for life because men with a passion for change achieve their goals before the very presence of their enemies. Do not stop still your enemy shut up!
New level of deliverance comes from passion for Change which draws us into a new relationship with God,and that new relationship calls for anew level of giving or sacrifice.
