Message Point: Jesus is the only Gate to Heaven.

Introduction:
I. The Wide Gate
a. Good works
b. Tradition
c. Popular psychology, Popular culture, etc,
d. Anything that is not Jesus
II. The Narrow Gate
a. Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14:6 NASB)
b. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NASB)
c. but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, (Hebrews 10:12 NASB)
III. Salvation & Holiness
a. Completely opposite of what the world preaches and expects
b. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 NASB)
c. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." (1 Peter 1:14-16 NASB)
Invitation: You cannot get to Heaven by “being good.” Only one path leads to Heaven; all other paths lead to destruction.
