VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Fear of GOD
"O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear"
Fear motivated and brought about by love.
Deuteronomy 10:12 (Amplified Bible)
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you but [reverently] to fear the Lord your God, [that is] to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being,
1 Peter 2:17 (Amplified Bible)
Show respect for all men [treat them honorably]. Love the brotherhood (the Christian fraternity of which Christ is the Head). Reverence God. Honor the emperor.
1 John 4:18 (Amplified Bible)
There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].
B. We have received all things from Him
"For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear"
Matthew 6:33 (Amplified Bible)
But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
Philippians 4:19 (Amplified Bible)
And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
C. Even the lions (most shrewd) gets hungry
"The young lions lack food and suffer hunger"
The lions lack enough food. The obedient will not lack.
Psalms 37:25 (Amplified Bible)
I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.
Psalms 34:10 (Amplified Bible)
The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.
Psalms 23:1 (Amplified Bible)
A Psalm of David. THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
The lions lacked known for their great hunting skills, yet the sheep will never lack, because the Shepherd feeds, guides and shields it from danger, no lack.
IX. CONCLUSION:
Philippians 4:19 (Amplified Bible)
And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
