Beloved, God is a giver of blessings. God is conditioned to bless His own people. He has the liberty to bless whosoever He wishes to bless and He is a distributor of divine blessings. In Genesis 1:28, the word of God declared ’And God bless them and said, be fruitful and mulitiply and replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion over every fish in the sea, over every fowl in the air and over every living thing that moves upon the surface of the earth’. Beloved, I have come to a realisation, I have come to a deeper spiritual understanding, that one of the ways to attract a greater blessing from God is when you have been tried and found worthy. Beloved, a man or a woman will attract a greater blessing after he or she has been tried by God. The essence of the trial in a greater percentage of cases is so that God will trim you, prune you like a clay in the hands of a potter and make you suitable and fit for the Master’s use and for His purpose. Usually, before God usher a man into a position of greater blessing, God himself will make a pronouncement or speak through the Holy Spirit to the individual or speak through someone to make a pronouncement which may be a form of a prophetic declaration that will usher the individual into his level of signs and wonders. This year, God will announce your promotion, He will announce your breakthrough, He will announce your testimony in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, I dont want you to see your trial or whatever you are going through as a punishment, but instead I want you to see it as a push to the next level, I want you to see it as a ladder to your promotion and I want you to view it with the eyes of the Spirit as a signpost that will give direction to your divinely ordained testimony because the outcome and the end result of that trial is that you will testify that indeed the Lord is good. I prophesy that in this year, you will surely testify in the name of Jesus. In Genesis 22:1-2, God called Abraham and told him to take his only son, the only son that he loves and take him to the land of Moriah and offer him for a burnt offering on one of the mountains that he will tell him and he did as he was told. As he journeyed along with his son, the son asked him, where is the lamb for the sacrifice and Abraham told him, God will make provision. Abraham knows the faithfullness of God and the remembrance of that faithfullness will bring the provision of the lamb needed for the sacrifice. Beloved, when God want to transfer someone into a level of unmatchable blessing, when God wants to showcase His Glory in the life of a man, He will put that man under a trial to test his love, to test his loyalty, his faithfullness and his commitment to Him. Sometimes believers think whatever trial and circumstances they are going through is caused by the enemy but beloved, I have to announce to you that God might be responsible for that trial, for that situation you are going through and He is the one who can see you through it. In verse 10-12 of Genesis 22, while Abraham stretched his hand to kill the child, the Angel of God told him not to lay his hand on the child, and he said for now I know that thou fearest the Lord( that is the test of loyalty has been passed) and has not witheld thy only son from Him. I told us earlier that after a man has passed the trial, God will announce him and push him into his place of unspeakable blessings. After the angel had spoken to Abraham in verse 10-12 of Genesis 22, God came to make that pronouncement and so in verse 16-18, God said by Myself have I sworn that, because of what you have done, because you did not withold your only son, in blessing, I will bless thee, in multiplying I will multiply thy seed, as the stars of heaven and as the sand on the seashore and your seed shall possess the gates of their enemies and in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. Beloved, this is the Abrahamic blessing that you are free to enjoy because you are a seed of Abraham but I am making a prophetic declaration that a new covenant of blessing that will start in your life and flow into your generation will be announced by God this year in the name of Jesus.
I decree by the power in the name of Jesus, that the pronouncement that will declare your elevation shall be announced by God this year, the pronouncement that will cancel lack and poverty in your life shall be announced this year in the name of Jesus. Beloved, there is a word that is meant for you, there is pronouncement that must be spoken about what you are going through that will signal the end of all your woes and the begining of an unending blessings and promotion. Beloved, one word from God, just one word from God that is accurately received and perfectly implemented will take you ahead of those who started before you. That is why, concerning Joseph, the bible says in Psalm 105:19 that ’until the time that his word came, the word of the Lord tried Joseph’. In other words, Joseph was still being tried by God, he was still going through that situation, he was still being locked up in the prison until the word and the pronouncement that will set him free came in Genesis 41:12-13, when the butler said ’ there is a young man, an hebrew who interpreted my dream and restore me back to my position and in verse 14, pharaoh sent for Joseph and the bible says they brought him in a hurry. The butler through the inspiration of God announced the expiration of Joseph’s trial and Joseph moved from the prison to the palace. There is someone here, the word of the Lord that will announce the expiration of the troubles you are going through shall manifest right now in the name of Jesus. Psalm 105:19 says ’until the time that his word came, the word of the Lord tried him’. It was not until the word was spoken about him, it was not until he was announced that his problem came to an end. There is someone here, there is a word that must be spoken concerning you, there is an helper that must advertise you, there is a pronouncement fom God that is meant to put an end to your trial and trouble this year, the word that must be spoken to announce your elevation, cancel delay and break every chain of affliction and bring you into a place of laughter shall manifest right now in your life in the name of Jesus.
In Genesis 22:16-18, when God made that pronouncement about Abraham, his trial came to an end and God ushered him and his family into a realm of limitless blessings. What happen however when the butler announced Joseph to Pharoah in Psalm 105:20? the king sent for him, LOOSED him, and SET HIM FREE! I prophesy that the announcement that will break every chain of captivity and bring freedom to all areas of your life shall come alive right now in the name of Jesus. Beloved, that was not the only announcement that was made about Joseph. In verse 21 , the king made him lord of his house and ruler over all his substance. In verse 22, he was authorised to bind princes at his pleasure and to teach the senators wisdom, in verse 23 the veil of immigration barrier was lifted as Jacob who was Joseph’s father was joined to Joseph. The bible says’ Israel also came to Egypt and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham and in verse 24, God made Joseph and his people to be stronger than their enemies. If you want to enjoy the dimension of these blessings that Joseph enjoyed I want you to rise up and say to yourself ’Oh God arise and make me stronger than my enemies in the name of Jesus.
Brethren, I want you to see whatever you are going through as the process of preparation into the future you have always desired. God says for I know the thought that I have towards you, a thought of good and not of evil, to give you a hope and a future. God in His infinite wisdom has designed the trial of Joseph and at the same time designed a way of escape. Even if your trial was sponsored by the enemy, God will provide a way of escape, equip you to overcome the trial, bring an end to the trial and catapult you to a level of rejoicing, because according to His word in 1 Corinthians 10:13, there is no temptation that has happened to you that is not common to man, but God is faithful, He will not allow you to be tempted above that ye are able but with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. The fathfullness of God is the driving force that will provide the way of escape. In butressing my point further, in Psalm 105:16, the bible says God Himself was responsible for the famine that happened in Egypt and the surrounding nations. He called for famine, He brought it upon the land, He made sure all avenues where people can get food supply were closed and at the end He brought abundance and prosperity, because weeping may tarry for the night but joy comes in the morning. So that trial may be for one night or for seven nights and yours may be for a year but all I know is that the announcement that will bring your joy in the morning will not pass you by in the name of Jesus. Beloved, that was the same joy that Jesus focussed on when he was going through those trials. It was because of that expected end that made him to endure the Cross and dispise the shame because of His love for us. Beloved, there is a joy that is set for you at the end of that trial, there is a blessing unspeakable that has been ordained for you at the end of that trial and you will surely enter into it by the power in the name of Jesus. That is why I have to prophesy to someone this morning, that the tunnel of your life may be dark but the light of God that the enemy cannot comprehend shall surely shine forth in the name of Jesus. I want you to rise up and pray these three prayer points.
1) The word from God that will put an end to the problem I am going through, I am available manifest in my life in the name of Jesus Amen
2) The way of escape from my present situation, open by fire in the name of Jesus Amen
3)Oh God that summoned Joseph to the palace in a hurry, I am available announce my promotion in the name of Jesus.
