Dave Thomas, founder of the Wendy’s Hamburgers is the only founder among America’s big companies who’s pictured in the corporate annual report shows him holding a mop and a plastic bucket. That wasn’t a gag either; it was done intentionally so that he could lead by example. At Wendy’s an MBA doesn’t mean a “Master of Business Administration”, it means “Mop Bucket Attitude” Service at the lowest levels makes for a great success. Wendy’s Corporations

“Jesus laid aside his outer garment, and taking a towel, tide it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him” “Let each of us look not only to our own interest, but also to the interests of others. Have your mind among ourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus who, though has was in the form of God did not count equality with God is a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing to take on the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men” when Christians apply the spirit of humble servitude. Many doors can be open to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus beholds to us an example of what humble servitude looks like. Therefore we must serve one another as Christ showed by washing His disciples’ feet. Even in the mist of betrayal God’s love succeed all conditions. Even enduring the cross he gave his life for the sins of the world. Phil 2:1-7
What can we take away from today lesson? Firstly, Jesus laid aside his garment in act of obedience to his father that He might show unconditional love towards us. Secondly, He becomes a slave that we might experience the acts of humble servitude. Finally, He confirms truth in our hearts that we may be a blessing to ourselves as with others. Every Christians must therefore respond to humble servitude. We must move out of the four walls of the local church. Start a prison ministry; help the homeless, supply aid for the elderly, and by forgiving one another.
Look! We must exemplify the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Therefore others can experience a loving caring savior.
