Summary: Waste has become a commonly experienced thing in our world, and mostly in the Christendom. Thousands of brothers and sisters are undergoing waste in one way or the other.

INTRODUCTION

Bible Reading: Luke 15:11-32

I would like to start this message by asking you a question: Are You Experiencing Waste in Your Life? I believe that your answer is YES! Because one way or the other, you will be experiencing waste.

Waste has become a commonly experienced thing in our world, and mostly in the Christendom. Thousands of brothers and sisters are undergoing waste in one way or the other.

Your Waste can be in marriage. Many destinies had been wasted. Several opportunities had been wasted; thousands of ideas that could have being a profit had been a waste. Uncountable youths had waste their God given time using it in immoralities, fornication and adultery. At the same time, many billionaire of tomorrow have wasted their business.

The greatest waste that can happen to man is the waste you cause by yourself. I meant the waste that you created room for. You allow the waste to establish and exist in your life, marriage, business, academic, finances, ministry, etc. Is either you invite the waste or you make way for it to occur in any aspect of your life.

For instance, a young brother in the Gospel according to Saint Luke, chapter fifteen verses eleven to thirty, caused waste for himself. The Bible says: “The younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered (waste) his wealth in wild living. After he had spent (waste) everything, there was a several famine in that whole country and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything” Luke 15:13-16

THE WRONG AMBITION AT THE RIGHT TIME

Right Request for Wrong Ambition: The boy requested for his own right, possessions, wealth, destiny, and properties that belonged to him, and his father gave him (Luke 13:12). His father is a faithful father who gives what his children asked for. Remember, my God, your God is a faithful Father who owns everything and gives to His children mostly when you ask for it (Matthew 7:7-8)

1. Seeking for Green Pasture in a Wrong Place: The young boy got together ALL that had been given to him from his father and took it to far away country to use it as he likes (Luke 15:12, 13). His father allowed the boy to use his properties as he likes at any where. So also our God gives room for everyone to make a choice on what you will do with what HE has given you. It is left for you and I to make a right choice and make use the resources HE has given to us rightly and faithfully. (Deuteronomy 30: 15-19; Joshua 24:15-18). But remember that God have given us Holy Bible for us to know and where we should use the resources HE gives us. You are the one to search for it, discover it, and follow it perfectly.

2. Famine after Wasted Possessions: The Bible makes it clear that, the boy started to be in need after he had wasted all his properties (Luke 15:14). Many famines we are experiencing today are the results of our waste. Many couples are in debt today because they have wasted their resources. Thousands of brother and sisters could not get the right spouse because they have wasted their divine husband through fornication, adultery, fighting, abortion, etc. They have sold their body to enemies, and got disappointment in return. Samson of the Bible wasted his destiny and divine wife because of the fornication business he practiced (Judges 14:1-3; 16:1, 4-22).

Scarcity that you are experiencing today is a result of your waste yesterday. The anointing you find difficult to get today is a result of wasting the one that was given to you in the years back. You are now going from one mountain to another; from one Prophet to another in order to get pregnant but you have forgotten the abortion you did before. The job you get some times ago got lost because of your unfaithfulness, greediness, selfishness and pride. Let me tell you this, you cannot be free from the waste you find yourself until you openly confess all your evil deeds that cause all these wastes in your marriage, business, finances, job, ministry and life as whole.

3. He hired himself to the citizen of strange country (Luke 15:15). What a terrible situation he commits himself to! He hired himself to be a slave in the hands of the enemies. He personally handover himself unto the strange man to control and rule over him. At the end, the owner now became a borrower.

Dear friend, who do you personally handover yourself unto – God or gods, Christ or Satan, church of God or temple of Satan? Think of it now!

Wasting of resources and anything God gives to man can cause man to be a slave to his enemies. Many landlords and landladies of 90s are now tenant of one room in this 20s because they have wasted their resources in doing devilish business and involving themselves in wastage associations.

4. Starving to death – Luke 15:17. Another thing that he experience from his wasteful life is starving to death. He desires to eat the foods of pigs, but no one gave him. To get pieces or crumbs of any food in order to satisfy his hunger became very difficult for him. The waste has cost him starving to death.

Many couldn’t feed themselves from their businesses and daily jobs as a result of wastage problem that is battling with their life. I want you to understand this: the boy is working but his job couldn’t end his hunger. It is a pity that many are eating from their enemies’ table. If they are not borrowing from their enemies, they could not eat.

Many businesses exist today but the owners couldn’t feed themselves and his family to satisfaction. Many find it difficult to pay for their house rent, Electricity Bills, Water Bills, etc from their daily job or business. Debt bankrupt is the major experience of many families. All these can be a result of waste!

THE CAUSES OF HIS WASTE

He left his father without asking for the right path (Luke 15:13). Immediately he got all what he needs, he separated himself from his father. The beginning of his ruin is separation from his loving, kind and faithful father. The boy decided to guide himself without his father’s instructions. Since he has gotten everything he needs from his father, he thought that there is no need for him to be controlled, guided or directed by his father anymore.

I have discovered one thing with people, when they are looking for a solution or desire to get something, they will use all what they have to get it from God either through their pastor or prophet; but after they have gotten what they want, they will now turn back doing what pleases them without consulting the man of God for the next or right step. The day a man starts to dissociate him/herself from the Creator is the day he/she starts wasting the little one in his/her hands including his/her total life.

The day you dissociate yourself from God is the day you start living in isolation. Waste and ruin is at the door of everyone that disconnects from God their Creator. Any business or marriage that has no connection with Christ Jesus is a total waste (John 15:5).

If you reject God, He (God) will surely reject you. When you reject God, divine blessing and provision will reject you. Anyone that rejects his or her Creator will surely experience sadness, bitterness, and enemies will rule over him/her.

God your Creator is asking you a question: “what unrighteousness did you find in Me, that you went far from Me and habitually went after emptiness, falseness, and futility friends and you became waste, fruitless and worthless?”

As He asked the people of Judah during the reign of Prophet Jeremiah:

“Thus says the Lord, what unrighteousness did your father find in Me, that they went far from Me and habitually went after emptiness, falseness, and futility and themselves became fruitless and worthless?” Jeremiah 2:5

Anyone that refuses to take instructions from God in anything he does will soon end up wasting the little he owns. If you don’t know what to do with what God has given you, ask Him and He will direct you into the right path.

2. He joined himself with strange people – unbelievers (Luke 15:15). The evil association you joined has nothing good to offer you than help you waste the one you have. “Bad associations destroy good character” 2 Corinthians 15:33. As long you are in partnership with the wrong person, waste will not stop in your life. Satan and his agent that you partner with has nothing to give you than waste all your time, possessions, destiny, marriage, education, ideas, knowledge and end you in eternal punishment of hell fire if care is not taking.

3. Lack of Management – The little in your hand is enough to change your world if you manage it carefully. Lack of managing any resources in your care can result to wants which may not have solution if care is not taking. The Prodigal son thoughts that the resource that his father gave him is enough for him to arrive. Therefore, he did not care of manage it. What you don’t care to manage will soon become your manager.

THE WAY OUT

I thank God for being a faithful Father despite our unfaithfulness. The younger man in our text could not end up his life without restoration to his right position. No matter how long you have been in waste, there is solution to it. Our God is a faithful God and He is ready 24/7 to put an end to any waste that has been battling with your ministry, business, marriage, and total life.

The Prodigal son as we all know in Luke 15:11ff got back his waste when he took the right and necessaries steps with actions.

1. He came to his senses – Luke 15:17. In a simple language, “when the brother realized his failure”; “When he take note of himself”; “when he discovered that he was not in the right place of his father’s plan for him”.

The first thing you must do now is come back to your senses. You have lost your sense that is why you live your life as you so pleased not as God likes. You must realize and see yourself as a ruined person that needs a Redeemer. Look and think back and see yourself, you will discover that you are lost, and you need restoration.

2. He sees his mistakes and took a step of correction – Luke 15:18. The young man sees himself as the cause of his problem, and he took the step to correct it. He neither blamed his father nor his brother, and even not the man that hired him for his condition. But he had conviction within himself that he is the major cause of his wasteful life. My brother, my sister, right now, don’t ever see the person around you has the cause of your wasteful life, rather see yourself with humility as the only cause of what you are passing through since all these days. Jesus Christ said: “I tell you, No; but unless you repent (change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), you will all likewise perish and be lost eternally” Luke 13:3, 5 Amplified Bible.

3. He went back to his father and confesses all his sins– Luke 15:18-21. Make a u-turn and go back to your lovely Father is the best thing you can do that brings total restoration and permanent healing to your wasteful life. God is not a man that when you go back to Him, He will send you back. No! God will never do that! He is ambitious of seeing you coming back to Him for restoration. Immediately He sees you coming back to Him, He will surely turn back to you and He will embrace you. Embrace you means forgiveness. There is no sin that God cannot forgive. He sent Jesus Christ in order to pay the full price of every sins of humanity (Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14). But you can only have the grace of forgiveness when you confess all your sins unto Him.

4. Remain in and with the father – Luke 15:20. The step of going back to his father is not temporary, but permanent. The young man remains in his father’s house through out his life. Going back to Jesus is not enough but remaining in HIM and HIM in you is the permanent solution to wasteful life. Jesus Christ said: “Abide in Me, and I in you…” John 15:4.

Confess all your sins most especially wasteful life you have lived.

Ask God to forgive you and use Jesus Blood to wash you clean.

My God my Lord, my destiny that had been kept in wastage camp, be set free by the power of God in Jesus name

Every good things that I have lost during my wastage season, I recover them back in hundredfold in Jesus name

I terminate the season wastage in Jesus name

I terminate the season of wastage and limitation in my life and business in Jesus name

Every dream of spiritual robbers attacking my wellbeing be reversed in Jesus name.

Good things stolen from me during sleep, I recover them by fire in Jesus name.

I fire back every arrow of loss and wastage fried at me in the dream in Jesus name.

Witchcraft manipulation of my business and daily work in the dream, backfire in Jesus name.

Abilities that I have lost through dream manipulation be restored in Jesus name.

Every negative virtue imparted to me through dream I reject you, go back in Jesus name.

Dirty money, fake currencies manipulated against my finances in the dream, burn to ashes in Jesus name.

Witchcraft basket (evil bank) fashioned against my finances, I set you on fire in Jesus name

Every good position that I have lost as a result of evil dreams of wastage, be restored to me in Jesus name.

Every palace of strangers built against my life and my daily work and business be demolish in Jesus name (Isaiah 25:2)

Every strange voice pushing me away from God that led to wasteful living be silenced by the Blood of Jesus in Jesus name

You the land of my Destiny and place of my business, I command you to vomit all strangers in you in Jesus name. II Samuel 22:46.

All strange weapons of the enemies using to buffeting my destiny and business in the strange land, be terminated by thunder of God in Jesus name.

All strangers that are risen up against my work, business and life, by divine operation, collapsed by thunder of God in Jesus name.

Any power of strangers will not spoil the labour of my hands in Jesus name.

All my goodness that has been seized by the strangers is released by the Blood of Jesus in Jesus name.

Every strange attachment to my business, work and destiny through the strangers power, be detached by fire in Jesus name.

Every strange kingdom hold upon my daily work be destroyed by the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.

Every strange hands dropping afflictions into the boat of my life, wither in Jesus name.

By the help of God’s spirit, I will not eat strangers’ food anymore in Jesus name.

Every Network of Environmental strangers against me, against my spouse and against my business be scatter by fire in Jesus name.

Every campaign of the strangers against my business and welfare, be cancelled in Jesus name.

All power of strangers that are scattering my harvest whenever I am gathering, you are a liar, receive thunder of fire in Jesus name.

All witchcraft and marine strangers delegated against my rising up, be destroyed by thunder and fire of God in Jesus name.

I release myself from strange territory of the enemies in Jesus name.

My spiritual environment be sanitized by the blood of Jesus and Holy Ghost fire in Jesus name.

Every strange operation of the enemies in the garden of my life expired today in Jesus Mighty name.

As from today henceforth, my life and everything that concerns me will not answer to the strangers’ voice in Jesus name

Every fire of trouble burning in any area of my life, I quench you with Blood of Jesus in Jesus name.
