The seven blessings of the King
The anointing on your life is for all people and extends to the ends of the earth. God may be using you for small things, but the anointing that is on you is for great things that can reach and impact others far beyond your present environment
The anointing on Adam was for the ends of the earth, but the promises were conditional. His potential was only a possibility and not a given because all the blessings of God are based on choices.
There are certain things we should never ask God for because they have been given already. There are things we pray for that should never be included in our prayers except when we are giving thanks for them because they are available to us.
When we ask the Lord to do things that He has already done, it is sort of expecting Him to go back to the cross and perform the work for us again and again. When He said “it is finished” it meant there the works were completed for all eternity and are ours in the present and also available to those who are yet to be born in future generations. That means people who have not yet been born and have never committed any sins, will have access to forgiveness because of what Jesus completed two thousand years ago.
Bu we have to remember that all the blessings that we can access because of the work Jesus completed on the cross are possibilities only because everything He has done for us has to be accessed by faith.
The blood that was shed on the cross was for the salvation of every person living in the present time as well as for those who are yet to be born. Jesus does not have to do anything more for us because He has done everything for us. The power of His blood extends to future generations and no more sacrifices for sins will ever be necessary. Yet there are so many who will die in the sins without any hope of salvation and eternal life. The provision of salvation is there, but it is up to each and every person to accept Jesus.
The same applies to healing and other heavenly blessings. We need to understand that there is no sickness, poverty, failure, sin, bondages, or failure in heaven. These are blessings of the Kingdom which were never meant for heaven but for the earth. For example, why is healing necessary in heaven when there is no sickness in heaven? We are carriers of heaven’s blessings and we have to ensure that people on earth enjoy the heavenly blessings that Jesus has for us because of His obedience by dying for us on the cross.
There are seven blessings of the King that are meant for the earth and were completed on the cross.
Titus 3:4-5- But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
Everything that God has done for us is driven by His love for us. These are the seven works of the King and they are blessings which God has made available to us so that we can represent the best that heaven has to offer on earth. They have to manifest in the lives of God’s children before they can be released to those who do not know Him. Others will only know the King and the benefits of His Kingdom if we represent Him in His fullest manifestation on the earth.
1. Salvation
Salvation is a free gift given by God to mankind and is one of the completed works of the cross. Jesus died for everyone and is not a respecter of persons. He died regardless of who we are or where we come from. He offers salvation to every person on the earth present and future. Salvation tells us we have a hope because there is a King that is above ever other king.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Even when we turn and walk away from God, He is always ready to receive us back into His home. He does not condemn us but loves us and will always forgive us when we repent and turn back to Him. The heart of the Father is always ready to receive us back when we drift away from His love and from our purpose.
It is spirit of the evil one working in men and women that condemns and drives people away without the opportunity to reconcile. The spirit of the Father is different and is always ready to take us back.
Colossians 2:6-10 - As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
2. Adoption
Jesus has given us this blessing so that we know that even though we have been rejected by others, we have a Father in heaven. Abba means we can call him “dad.” Even if you have never had a father figure, you are adopted by your Father in heaven. This is one of the blessings Jesus made possible when He died for us.
Romans 8:15 - For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
Through adoption, He has given us His name which is above every other name. We may be ashamed of our name, but Jesus has given us His name and adopted us into His Kingdom which is the most powerful family dynasty in heaven and on earth. God’s Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom. Earthly kings will come and go. Satan’s kingdom is temporary and that is a good reason to invest in God’s Kingdom.
Invest in the local church because God’s Kingdom is expressed in and through the local church. When we honor and submit to the local church, we respect what He has done for us on the cross. The church is where we exercise our faith and grow spiritual.
All of God’s adopted children meet as a family in the church. The church of Jesus Christ represents the blessing of heaven on earth and a hope top those who do not belong.
3. Healing
Sickness was nailed on the cross. We can overcome every sickness and walk in health because it is a blessing that has been released at the cross through the death of Jesus.
1 Peter 2:24 - Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed.
Jesus completed all the works on the cross even before He went to the cross. God was probably teaching Adam all these potential blessings while He was walking with him in the garden.
We need to listen to the right voices. If we listen to those who say that Jesus no longer heals the sick, then we have no other option but to die from our sickness.
Too many Christians today do not believe in divine health and healing. It is the same as saying that Jesus no longer saves from sin, because it is one of the works that Jesus completed when he died on the cross.
Healing is optional and not a given. It has to be accessed by faith just as salvation is received by confessing Jesus. When we listen to the voice of God, he will say “You have already been healed”
Healing needs to be accessed and not asked for. It is a finished work. We can place a demand on God and take our healing. Cut off the voices that do line up with the promises of God. Go to Jesus and ask Him if He still heals today. The suffering he endured in His body equates to our healing.
4. Deliverance
All the works of Satan were destroyed on the cross. That means he no longer has power over us.
Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to …. set at liberty those who are oppressed.
Acts 10:38 - How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
We can refuse all oppression and torment from the devil. We can be set free from his assignments that come against our purpose and calling. We speak to the devil when we pray, but he has been defeated. It was dealt with and he was put to open shame.
Jesus overcame temptations in the wilderness and the Bible tells us that the devil left Him. We Christian make the mistake by calling him back in our prayers. His work in our lives has been destroyed and we should not allow him be a factor in our lives. When you pray, do not talk to the devil at all. When we pray to the Lord, He hears us.
Jesus ensured that Satan’s cannot have power over our lives and we should not allow him to stir up drama. Ignore him totally and do not place him on your daily agenda because he has already been evicted from your life. Jesus stripped him of his power and authority over us at the cross. This is one of the blessings we can enjoy every day.
Ephesians 4:27 – Nor give place to the devil.
5. Wealth
God wants us to be rich and to enjoy an abundance of things on the earth. We do not have to die and go to heaven before we can enjoy the benefits of heaven because these are ours today because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.
You cannot be spiritually rich if you do not have physical tangible riches.
We are called to be rulers and to represent the things in heaven and therefore God’s children should not live in hunger, lack, and poverty.
2 Corinthians 8:9 - For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
Jesus took poverty and nailed it to the cross. He completed the possibility of supernatural provision for us. Poverty does not belong in our lives just as sin does not belong in our lives. This is nto to say that we worship money, but we merely take our position of financial authority and show others who we are and who our Father is.
Financial blessings are a possibility and can be accessed by sowing seed into God’s Kingdom. Every time you sow a see, there is a possibility of a harvest. The smallest return in God’s Kingdom is double. That is the minimum return. The maximum return is a billion and more.
God blessed Abraham with a return of more than a billion when He showed him the stars in the heavens and guaranteed a harvest that extended beyond his lifetime and into future generations.
The Bible tells us that Abraham was very rich and had great possessions. God blessed Abraham so that the kings in the surrounding nations could see that Abraham served a greater King than themselves.
God’s blessings on Solomon caused kings and queens from surrounding nations to travel to Israel so that they could see for themselves how God blessed Solomon in a supernatural way. When they saw the wealth and prosperity of Israel, their hearts melted and sought ways to live in peace with Solomon.
When people see how God blesses His people today, they will not fight against us. People do not respect you when you are poor and struggling.
Psalm 35:2 - Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.
When we are blessed, God is blessed.
6. Supernatural power
Ephesians 3:20 - Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
We cannot do things in our own strength. God anoints us with His power so that we can perform supernatural ministry through His power. God’s power is greater than any other power on earth. When God fills us with His Spirit, He ignites His will and purpose within us so that we can boldly proclaim the message of His Kingdom.
7. The church
The church is one of the greatest blessings released by Jesus. It is the institution that has the sole mandate for heavens’ blessings. That is why the devil attacks the church with so much ferocity. He knows it has the power and ability to release all the blessings of heaven onto the earth.
He has been very successful in weakening the church and limiting its ability by splitting churches and messing with the leadership. Perhaps he knows more than we Christian, the powerful potential of a united church and does everything in his power to make sure that it does not advance the purposes of heaven.
That is why we must not miss meeting together. We have the keys of heaven and can do so much when we work together.
Ephesians 3:10-12 -to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
