God doesn’t have a body so it’s not in physical form we resemble him in spirit - the immaterial part of man. It is sets man apart from the animal world. Animals don’t have a spirit, they are not made in God’s image as we are.
Everything that we are, as mentioned in the Bible, is a reflection of who God is.
