WE NEED TO GO BACK TO BETHEL
Genesis 35: 1And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
2Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:
3And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
4And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.
5And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.
6So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.
7And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
If God would speak to me today that the message may go out to all America put away all these strange Gods and come home to the Lord.
Let me say to the church we need to arise and go to Bethel that our nation might find God
1. Return to Jehovah
Deu.30: 2And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
2. Walk with him
2Cor. 5: 7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
3. Serve him
Deu.11: 13Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
4. Love him
Deu .30: 6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
5. Keep his word
Deu.26: 6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
6. Follow him
Joshua14: 8Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.
7. Seek him
2Chro. 15: 12And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
8. Praise him
Psalms 86: 12I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
9. Trust him
Prov.3: 5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
10. Believe in him
Acts 8: 37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
