WHY NOT HAVE A HAPPY HOME
So many people today have and unhappy home because they don’t have Christ.
If we are saved we should have Christ in the leader ship role of our homes.
So many today just have a house not a home. They bicker and fuss over nothing
One does all the work the other doesn’t care. Our children see our actions and that’s
Why they act like they do. The answer is in the Bible let’s look.
Eph.5: 24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
(1) First is a good dose of Salvation.
Acts 16: 28But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
29Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Don’t harm your children by your actions
Commit your family to the Lord
Make God the center of all your life
Then you will have a home not just a house
Acts 16: 33And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
34And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
(2) A cup full of Love
Romans 12: 9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Love for your family is not a smart attitude
Love is doing good to one another
Love is affection
Love is honor for each other
Love is kindness toward one another
(3) A good helping of worship
Hebrews 10: 24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

(4) A little faith
Hebrews 11: 6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God
We must take God at his word
Obey his word
(5) The big one is forgiveness
Matthew 6: 14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
We must forgive each other if we expect God to forgive us
Christ only forgives if we do
Don’t hold a grudge
Don’t look at the others fault look at yourself too
(6) A whole lot of tenderness
Eph.4: 31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Kindness cost nothing
Bitterness causes hate
Both cause anger
Put it away
Be kind to each other
Just like God was to us for Christ sake
(7) A whole lot of hope
Romans 5: 5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
