Our new book “Failing Doesn’t Mean You’re A Failure” will be out of editing next week and then into production for 3 weeks. It will hopefully be finished by December 21st. With any book there are always testimonies and I am very thankful for those people who were able to give a testimonial for the book. Then there is an Acknowledgement page for those who helped the book get published and then the “Dedication”. “Who should I dedicate this book to”? I have never had a clearer answer in my life.
This book is dedicated to Jesus. Without Him the book would not have a story, I would have never been rescued, I would STILL be lost and on the fast track to hell and there would be no purpose for my life. Yes Jesus you are the One who deserve all our glory, honor and praise, especially mine. In the book of Acts in the New Testament Stephen was picked to help with the overload of the disciples work. In Acts Chapter 6 and 7 it says that Stephen was full of the Spirit to where his face even shown like that of an angel Acts 6:15. Stephen is arrested by the religious leaders as the religious leaders were making false claims about him. So Stephen gives a wonderful sermon and testimony about how God brought His people out of Egypt into the Promised Land up to the present day of Jesus. In one account Stephen said:
Acts 7:9,10a ““Because the patriarchs were jealous of Joseph, they sold him as a slave into Egypt. But God was with him and rescued him from all his troubles. “
So many of you have helped support us in so many ways so that we can be a vessel God uses to rescue people. That is our life’s mission and YOU are as big a part of that mission as we are. I would like to ask you a favor for you to speak to your pastor so see if there are any opportunities to speak at your church. I know that Sundays are very difficult but maybe a Wednesday night. I can send your pastor a CD on the talk for the evening. It can be tailored for any age group. I feel that this new book which Jesus has allowed me to write will help rescue many in the power of the name of Jesus. Please let me know if your pastor is open and I can set up a call to speak to him or her in more detail. I can also speak at your place of business and tailor it to the workplace. I would be able to start speaking the third week in January to make sure we have enough books.
What I want to get across to people is that
1. “You are never too far gone to be rescued”
2. How to get out of the guilt trip of failure
3. How to live a life for the Lord and actually be joyful in the process
You are all Prayer Warriors, friends and family to us. You have prayed for us when we needed it most. You have given support both financially and emotionally to us and we are very, very grateful that the Lord has put you in our lives. It is not by chance that even now you are reading this today.
If you have failed numerous times Jesus can give you back your passion for life and set your feet upon firm footing. Please do not be discouraged. Take it from one who was as lost as one could be. It is all Jesus, Amen!!!!
