Read Matthew 26 :36 - 46
Preview the dinner bell surging in Jesus heart is truth and volume played loud, a message “This cup is the only way and only he can drank all of it.” The dream I entered; everybody was standing in the same evening. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. Something has happen, instead of watching and praying, falling to sleep has been placed on the flower. There are some flowers that look like they have falling to sleep. Banquet groups, their role is to take the next step, and that’s not enough!
The dinner bell means to go after Jesus; he’s in Gethsemane and keeps in mind it’s going to take a commitment to continue to proceed behind him. “Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane” where Jesus poured from sweating while he prayed. It’s time to keep up with Jesus. Trying to figure out where he’s going next is not important, but what’s important is letting Jesus guide you. He’ll be a light, this is called following Jesus.
You’re going to have to fight the good fight of faith to retain possession of your eye, and to keep it on Jesus. There are a lot of things going on in Gethsemane, and it’s wrapped around what Jesus is doing. I Want let that party out there distract me. Intervened by that, it will help me to overcome. Gethsemane is a place, through prayer you can forget about all that is troubling your heart. He’ll get rid of it! Yes he will! When you feel compel to pray do it, you might be helping somebody out.
It doesn’t matter how short the prayer is, as long as you carry it out. Notice how you always have something to fall back on; Jesus says to Peter and the two sons of Zebedee “Sit Ye Here, while I Go and Pray Yonder” It’s still about keeping our eye on Jesus. Look at how the Father spies on the world through the grace, Jesus has shown. He’s becoming sorrowful and very heavy. Obtaining secret information concerning his actual enemy, sin and disobedience I know exactly how you feel!
Jesus says “My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death.” Latinize into his Romanize, Jesus knew he had to face them Roman Catholic, this was a hard blow. The people he loved turned on him. People are falling to sleep inside Gethsemane when they suppose to be praying. With all our keeping Jesus under observation, you want to make sure you understand the message. Pray the way Jesus told us to pray to the Father. This would keep you from falling to sleep.
Thank God for waking you up, no one understands the time but Jesus. He knows when it’s time to pray. There are times it feels as though the Lord has left us, we feel sad, angry, and afraid, but he says I’ll never leave you nor forsake you, but I will be somewhere praying for you. Make sure you look after Jesus; keep your eye open to his will for your eternal destiny. Stay in place, because Jesus is coming back.
Keep in sight how Jesus fell on his face to pray; stay observant to keep your life straight. If you don’t mind going as far as you can for Jesus, you want mind praying through difficult times like Jesus did. Suppose you wanted to do the right thing in life but the wrong way at this time is your only way out. Lugging around garbage to long is not healthy. Jesus says “Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt” Don’t get to busy and forget about all that the Lord has done for you.
While the Lord is praying for the world we got to watch and pray. There’s no time for getting weary, and falling to sleep. Peter and the two sons’ of Zebedee have fallen to sleep. Jesus says “The Spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak.” Watch and pray that way it’s not easy to enter into temptation. Let’s get back to being part of the prayer groups. There’s a blessing, prayer groups are a good way to get a break through.
Jesus had to break through on his own. Break through when you home and all alone. There will be times people just can’t be there for you. You can’t put your trust in nobody but Jesus, because people are falling to sleep, and the Lord is waking them up in reality that they might not want to see. You got to pray. You got to pray until God lifts whatever got you praying.
There’s no time for getting weary and falling to sleep. Peter and the two sons’ of Zebedee have fallen to sleep. Jesus says “The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak” When you don’t watch and pray, it’s easier to enter into temptation. Suffer to endure: be watchful of Jesus, you don’t want Jesus to slip out of your view. You got to do what you got to do to keep your attention on the Lord. Jesus says “O my father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, they will be done.”
This cup was so heavy it took Jesus three times to find in God what he needed, and he did forever. We are not as strong as we think we are. If you can’t make it through something with prayer, what you made it through with is temporary. It’s not enough to keep you as the head and not the tale. In your heart you want to do the right thing, and you try to do the right thing, but your flesh is weak. The hour is at hand where Jesus is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Jesus was the corn that fell into the ground and died and brought forth much fruit. Whatever you got to do to maintain a prayer life, you want to do it because it’s the right thing to do.
