Psalms 84:10 One day spent in your Temple is better than a thousand anywhere else; I would rather stand at the gate of the house of my God than live in the homes of the wicked. (GNB)

I. One day spent in your Temple
One day is important not to be ignored, that's the LORD's day we're talking about, that's the day of the LORD, majority of us will consider it as Sunday as God's day, He's expecting us to be in His house every Sunday. God will not understand you if you're elsewhere other than His house on Sunday, it's His time for Himself and us to be gathering around Him. It's our quality time with Him, don't neglect it. We have already our time, 6 days isn't enough for you? Come on now, church, learn this truth. God has set aside one day for Himself to be with us, and why can't we spend time for Him, it's just one day, out of 6 days we toil, work and spend time for ourselves, give God a break, you MUST be in church every Sunday.
Heb 10:25 Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them."
Act 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, all the believers were gathered together in one place.
Act 2:42 They spent their time in learning from the apostles, taking part in the fellowship, and sharing in the fellowship meals and the prayers.
Act 16:16 One day as we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a young servant woman who had an evil spirit that enabled her to predict the future. She earned a lot of money for her owners by telling fortunes
Act 20:7 On Saturday evening we gathered together for the fellowship meal. Paul spoke to the people and kept on speaking until midnight, since he was going to leave the next day.
II. 1000 Days Elsewhere Is Nothing Compared To 1 Day In God's Temple
1000 days is almost 3 years, more or less. This is even nothing when we're in the LORD, it's His presence that makes us whole, makes us Perfect in progression, don't neglect being with the LORD rather than elsewhere.
Psalms 84:1 How I love your Temple, LORD Almighty!
Psalms 84:2 How I want to be there! I long to be in the LORD's Temple. With my whole being I sing for joy to the living God.
Psalms 27:4 I have asked the LORD for one thing; one thing only do I want: to live in the LORD's house all my life, to marvel there at his goodness, and to ask for his guidance.
Psalms 43:3 Send your light and your truth; may they lead me and bring me back to Zion, your sacred hill, and to your Temple, where you live.
Psalms 43:4 Then I will go to your altar, O God; you are the source of my happiness. I will play my harp and sing praise to you, O God, my God.
Psa 63:2 Let me see you in the sanctuary; let me see how mighty and glorious you are.
Luke 2:46 On the third day they found him in the Temple, sitting with the Jewish teachers, listening to them and asking questions.
III. Being A Guard At The Lord'S Gate Is Better
Guarding, marshalling, being a security or an usher in the Lord's gate is far more better job than any other work, as long as you're inside God's house and temple, nothing could go wrong. It's the perfect place for us every Sunday, or not even Sunday for your ministry involvement. Each ministry you are involved in might require a different schedule, but go on with it, commit with it, you have to do extra day in the LOrd's house, it's perfectly alright just to work for the Lord, don't mind the hard work, it's much better a 1000 day elsewhere, commit with it, support it will your life and pocket. You need extra blessings to impart the same blessings to others as well, you can't give what you don't have. First, have everything in yourself so you can impart, if you don't have much of the Lord, how can you impart much? Ministry involves hard work, hard workers get it all, prosperity, success, and your dream of being with the Lord, there's no short cuts, no easy way in the house of the Lord.
Php 3:20 We, however, are citizens of heaven, and we eagerly wait for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from heaven.
James 2:3 If you show more respect to the well-dressed man and say to him, "Have this best seat here," but say to the poor man, "Stand over there, or sit here on the floor by my feet,"
Psa 26:8 I love the house where you live, O LORD, the place where your glory dwells.
IV. Being With Bad People Makes You Bad
There's no excuse, our time for the unbelievers are for only 1 goal, is to win their souls, more time spent with them will be bad for us that it is for them. We can't influence them to change for the better for the Lord, much worst their company will ruin our characters. Their communications even without touching us, will corrupt us. This corruption does not take place overnight, it's a slow, tedious process but it does it's work to ruin us. Before that happens, spend time with them to win their souls, to get them to attend church, to accept the Lord, to be water baptized, to be Holy Spirit baptized, to be minitry involved. It's the Holy Spirit within them can change them and make as better friends but until then, they can only be our acquaintances and nothing more. Work hard for them to be our friends in the church, in the ministry.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God's Kingdom. Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts
Matthew 24:11 Then many false prophets will appear and fool many people.
Ephesians 5:6 Do not let anyone deceive you with foolish words; it is because of these very things that God's anger will come upon those who do not obey him.
2Thessalonians 2:10 and use every kind of wicked deceit on those who will perish. They will perish because they did not welcome and love the truth so as to be saved.
