The fruit of the Spirit. [not fruits]
What is a fruit?
• Biological term.
A fruit is a structure of a plant that contains its seeds. Fruit normally means the fleshy seed-associated structures of certain plants that are sweet and edible.
Many kinds of fruit, some sweet some sour,some edible others not, from many kinds of plants,undergo different stages of development, different kinds of seeds.
• Biblical term.
Matthew 7:16- known by the fruit .
James 3:17-18.
Ephesians 5:9.
Galatians 5:22 :- the package of the fruit contains nine ingredients [qualities/workings],compare ingredients of fresh fruit = what makes it sweet?
Note that a plant/crop produces fruit [ONE PLANT ONE KIND OF FRUIT ] because it is all of one kind [though commonly we call them "fruits" even if they are from the same plant], this what the SPIRIT OF GOD referred to through Paul.

In his book, THE ANOINTING, Pr. Benny Hinn notifies us that "Many people want the power of God but fail to understand that it will not come until they first experience His presence. With His presence comes the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. When the fruit is genuinely evident, The Lord will ANOINT you with His Holy Spirit--a higher experience than the presence of the Holy Spirit."
Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
What is a gift?
Some quality or endowment given to man by God; a preeminent and special talent or aptitude; power/ faculty.
1Corinthians 12:8-nine gifts.
Revelation Gifts — word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits.
Vocal Gifts — gift of tongues, interpretation of tongues, gift of prophecy.
Power Gifts — gift of faith, gift of healings, working of miracles.
Who is the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit?
Third person in the trinity, The Almighty Spirit of God
Light and darkness. Ephesians 5:8
The Holy ghost can not fill a dark vessel, He adorns us with His beauty =purity and liberty.
[adorn- to enhance or decorate with or as if with ornaments].
Ephesians 5:3-11.

Three enemies exist against our faith: the devil, the flesh, the world.
There is also the fruit and gifts of the evil spirit, characterized by the above. Galatians 5:19-20. be careful.
