1. We proceed slowly!
Question: What is your first tendency when faced with a decision?

Key: Never rush to make a decision!
2. We spend time in Prayer!
Nehemiah 2:4-5a "Then the king asked me, "What is your request?" So I prayed to the God of heaven and answered the king," (HCSB)
Key: We need to pray and ask God where He is working.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Rejoice always! Pray constantly. Give thanks in everything, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (HCSB)
Key: God's answer to prayer will be yes/ no/ or wait!
Psalm 139:17 "How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!" (NLT)
3. We start right where we are!
Nehemiah 1:11 "At the time, I was the king's cupbearer." (HCSB)
4. We take advantage of the moment!
Nehemiah 1:11 "Please Lord, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and that of Your servants who delight to revere Your name. Give Your servant success today, and have compassion on him in the presence of this man." (HCSB)
