I Will Never Be The Same Again
We live in a world where communication is key, its very important to all of us.
Never has there been a time in history, that people have ever spoke to each other more than they do now a days.
The number of ways grows on a daily basis. Smart phones keep getting smarter and faster,
it seems as though theres nothing cant be cramed into them, technology is amazing,
it used to be a rotary phone was considered old school, but now a days a regular cell phone, all the kids will tell you is outdated.
You see everybody using their phones at the work place, at the store, in the theatre and even on the highways.
People have a hard enough time chewing gum and walking, let alone driving and talking or even worse texting and driving.
Its almost like everyone thinks, using a cell phone is covered under the first amendment, which we all know is the freedom of speech.
A study conducted 400 or so University students, with each student wearing something to record them throughout the day for ten days.
And it concluded; The average person (male or female) speaks 16,000 words per day which is like 15 words per waking minute?
So much communication, so many words, so many people not realizing the power their words have, transmitting across the globe at any given time.
God has always known words possess power,
Gen 1:1-3 NKJ
1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2.The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3. Then God said, Let there be light; and there was light.
All through out creation we read how God spoke the world into existence.
Ever since the beginning of time we see how words have power in them.
Jesus gave us a great example of how much power our words possess,
TBS. in the book of Mark 11:12-14, 19-24 NKJ
12. Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry.
13. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
14. In response Jesus said to it, Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.
And His disciples heard it.
19. When evening had come, He went out of the city.
20. Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.
(peter was amazed, at the power Jesus words contained in them, Jesus wasnt surprised at all, He was trying to teach them about faith! And what our words can and will accomplish for us.)
22. So Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God.
23. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
It was a miracle, out in the middle of no where, you see your location doesnt dictate the outcome of your need being met!!
Jesus was spelling it out for us, and
if you have a need in your life,
no matter what it is, He said;
*even if it seems like a mountain to you
*it doesnt matter, when or where it happens
*speak to your situation,
*have faith in God,
*believe He will take care of it,
*let go and let God do what He said He would do, sometimes thats the hardest part, letting go
You know God could perform any miracle, without you letting go of it, but that wouldnt require much faith would it, if He did?
Only when you let go, does it release your faith and allow Him to do what you ask Him to!! Amen!!
Jesus was always using parables and stories to make it easier to understand and remember and to make it more relevant.
We all remember the story where Jesus used a small boys lunch of 2 fish and 5 little loaves of bread,
to feed 5,000 men, 5,000 women and if they were like the statistics now a days of 2.3 children per household times 5k,
That would bring the grand total to about 21,500 men, women and children.
Of course, while this is only a remote possibility of being the correct number of actual people that was fed that day.
It doesnt diminish the fact, that to the disciples, the possibility of feeding any of these people, was a huge mountain or obstacle to them.
Nevertheless Jesus addressed the mountain and made a super highway right thru the middle of it! Praise God!!
Matt. 14:16-20 NKJ
16. But Jesus said to them, They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.
17. And they said to Him, We have here only five loaves and two fish.
18. He said, Bring them here to Me.
19. Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
20. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.
God is not a God of Barely Get By, He never has been,
Hes an over the top, Abundant God, of Way to Much
Isnt it something to, that no matter how many times you hear that story, it never grows old,
its still a relevant example of anything is possible when Gods involved in the results!!
In our text, Jesus showed us the power our words have in our lives,
While head knowledge is good, when it moves from head knowledge to heart knowledge, thats when it becomes real and ever present, in our lives!
It becomes automatic
*you dont have to look for it
*you dont need to muster it up
*it becomes real to you and relevant, available on demand 24/7
And still it makes you wonder why so many Christians, are speaking so many words, with so little benefit.
Its time believers started to use the authority God has given them, to speak good things over their lives!
2 Cor. 4:13-18 MSG.
13-15. We're not keeping this quiet, not on your life. Just like the psalmist who wrote, "I believed it, so I said it," we say what we believe. And what we believe is that the One who raised up the Master Jesus will just as certainly raise us up with you, alive. Every detail works to your advantage and to God's glory: more and more grace, more and more people, more and more praise!
16-18. So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever.
Prov. 18:20-21 Msg.
20. Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach; good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest.
21. Words kill, words give life; they're either poison or fruit you choose.
Our text said if anyone says to this mountain, but Anyone is not just anyone,
anyone refers to someone who knows Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
The moment you were saved, you became that anyone, able to speak to your mountain, to expect results and watch them happen!
Gods word states that this is something were entitled to, makes you wonder why more of Gods Children dont participate.
And if someone chooses not to participate, that doesnt mean this promise doesnt work.
Gods word is true, Gods word accomplishes what it sets out to do and Gods word never returns void!
Is. 55:8-11 NKJ.
8. For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD.
9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
The best way to return Gods word to Him is, as a confession of truth, over every situation thats going on in your life. Amen!

*Gods word, is all powerful
*Gods word will accomplish, every desire that He sent it to do!
*Gods word is an unstopable force, nothing can stand up to it!
When you speak the word of God over your life and the ones around you,
you are tapping into the Greatest Power Source ever known to mankind,
a power source that is inexhaustible, with its main focus always being this TBS.(the bible says)
He who started a work, will be faithful to complete it in you! Praise God Almighty, Hallelujah!!
Speak to your mountain, dont spend all your time trying to run around it, proclaim the word of God over it and run right through it. Amen!
Mark 11:21-25 MSG.
22-25. Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, 'Go jump in the lake'no shuffling or shilly-shallying and it's as good as done. That's why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you'll get God's everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it's not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins."
Youll get Gods everything, Hallelujah!
When you finally and truly realize, what this is talking about,
that which is available to all of us who have accepted Jesus and the Grace message He gave us,
It is a life changing, game changing, turn your world upside down, inside out experience!
The same power that brought down the walls of the heavily fortified city of Jericho with the blast of a trumpet and a shout, you have access to. Praise God!
*The same power that parted the red sea,
*that fed the 5k,
*that healed the woman with the issue of blood,
*that helped bring down Goliath,
*that not just created, but spoke the world into being,
You have access to that power!! Praise God!!
If that, DONT MAKE YOU WANT TO SHOUT, then nothing ever will.
So many Christians never really realize how they can put the Word of God to work in their lives,
You can reign over every situation and obstacle in your life, instead of being held prisoner by them!!
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, with Gods help and He wants you to know, that you are in charge of your circumstances,
you can take authority over your
mountains and make mole hills out of them.
Start speaking Gods word to your situations and to the ones around you,
Your family, your friends and the people that you see happening in your everyday travels, who need someone to speak life changing words into their situation.
And you will amazed at the results that will start to follow you around!
Quit telling the accuser everything thats wrong in your life and start proclaiming everything thats right instead!
We need to quit snaring ourselves by our own words we speak, cause you see thats all the accuser has to use against us,
The only thing he has to us against us, is the ammo we give him on a daily basis,
Take away his ammo supply and youll render him to be, the powerless foe that he really always has been. Amen!
Start speaking good things over your life, start seeing yourself the way that God sees you.
You see, He sees you as confident and successful and victorious,
He sees you as the head and not the tail in all circumstances!!
He knows that you have what it takes to do it, because Hes already given it to you, Hes made you an heir to His Throne.
God always wants the best for you, He wants you to be the person, Hes always wanted you to be.
No matter what your need is today, God can meet it and exceed it for you!

19. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Up to this point in our lives, we have been victims of our own demise, our words have dictated our own circumstances.
The good news today is, we dont have to stay where were at, we dont have to be the victims, we can be the victors!
Church its time to, by faith, call into existence the life that you desire!
What, you dont think you can, thats not what my bible says!
Heb 11:1-3 NKJ.
1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible
TBS. you have not because you ask not!
Youre the only one, whos going to do it for you, no one else will.
If you are ready for your situation to change, then its time to change what your saying about your situation!
If you want a different harvest in your life, then you need to change the seed your sowing into your life and the ones around you.
You see, we could hear about how good God is, and how He wants us to enjoy this life that weve been given from now until eternity,
But unless we embrace it, accept it and are willing to apply it to our lives, we will never experience it.
There is so much more God wants to do in our lives, new heights He wants to take us to,
I can only imagine describes it pretty well, the things God has in store for each of us.
He is willing to take us there, the question this morning is, are you willing to go?
I'll close with this, it's the words from a Hillsong worship chorus, that pretty much sums it up.
And now that you know, how much power your words have, it seemed appropriate and fitting
It goes like this:
I will never be the same again
I can never return, I've closed the door.
I will walk the path, I'll run the race
and I will never be the same again
