THE MYSTERYOF THE COMMUNION
"For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.' For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes" (I Corinthians 11:23- 26).
The Communion table is not a religious snack. It is one of the vital ministries of the New Testament.
"The Lord's Supper is a commemorative ordinance, a memorial of Christ's atoning sacrifice on the cross. It is a feast of living union of believers with the Saviour, whereby they truly, that is spiritually and by faith, receive Christ with all His benefits, and are nourished with His life unto eternal life"
The ultimate of the Communion is for us to live like Jesus.
"The Supper is a personal fellowship with Christ. Partaking of one bread creates fellowship between the members too; it merges them into one body, the church"
In John 6:48-54 Jesus says I am the bread of life; if you eat of bread you will live forever.
So the God kind of life is transmitted through the bread.
By taking communion we are deemed to live (divine life) like Jesus.
The ministry of the communion table ministers to your 3 Dimensional Being. Hebrew 9:14: 14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death,so that we may serve the living God! The blood is able to purge my conscience from every evil work.
The Blood of Jesus is the only treatment of the conscience of a man.
2 Corinthians 7:1 1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. The filthiness of the flesh and spirit is cleansed.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the whole of you 3D being be sanctified.
Luke 24:30-32 30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” Every form of mental block be cleared forever in Jesus name.
2 King 4:40-41 40 The stew was poured out for the men, but as they began to eat it, they cried out, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it.
41 Elisha said, “Get some flour.” He put it into the pot and said, “Serve it to the people to eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.
The communion is prescribed for every poison in our system to be neutralized.
1 Corinthians 11:26
26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
The Communion is prescribed for Health, Strength, and Longevity: 1 Corinthians 11:30. 30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.
BLOOD OF JESUS FOR HEALING
The Blood brings Life and Healing
[Lev 17:11] For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
Is 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
Romans 8:10-11
10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
In this chapter we examine how the Blood of Jesus can bring healing to our bodies.
Romans 8:1-2 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,] 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
Prayers:
• By the Blood of Jesus, I command every dead organ in my body to receive life in Jesus name.
• Every ancestral curse limiting my body, be lifted now in Jesus name.
• Let the Blood of Jesus quicken the body of Christ around the world in Jesus name.
Early on in the first chapter we established how the sin of Adam brought death to mankind.
The Holy Spirit brings a Spirit of Life into every situation that adamic death had brought into the world.
Part of the diversity of the Spirit is the gift of healing which is the Spirit that revives dead bodies, objects, situations and circumstances.
In John 11:25, 25Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies..”
Jesus had to remind Lazarus’ sister that He is the embodiment of the Resurrection power and the life of this world.
Her brother had been dead for four days and in the natural realm, nothing could wake him up. But decaying flesh, rigor mortis, congealed blood were reversed in their natural trend to decomposition by a call from the Spirit of Life.
As you are listening to this sermon, I command that anything in your body that the world is saying it is past redemption is quickened today in Jesus name. Amen!
Why am I so sure? Through out the bible we can see that the Blood of Jesus was instrumental to the turning around of impossible health situations.
1. The BLOOD OF JESUS can raise the dead as evidenced below;
• The Shunammite woman’s son woke up at the ministration of Prophet Elijah in 2 Kings 4:32-35.
• The widow’s son received the injection of the BLOOD OF JESUS in 1 Kings 17:17.
• The son of the widow of Nain was revived by this same power in Luke 7:11-15.
•
2. The BLOOD OF JESUS is available to make the lame walk.
How do we know this?
• In Luke 5:17-26 the paralytic was raised from his bed and forgiven his sins by this great power.
• That same power raised up a man with an infirmity 38 years old at the pool of Bethsaida in John 5:5-9.
It does not matter how long you have been lame or even if you were born with lameness or if a circumstance has made you lame in any way. The BLOOD OF JESUS can cause a complete turn around. In Acts 3:1-10 we see this situation when a fellow, lame from birth was touched by the BLOOD OF JESUS through Peter and John.
3. The BLOOD OF JESUS can make the blind to see. Because in Mark 10:46-52, the story of the blind man changed when the BLOOD OF JESUS touched him. The same thing happened in Matthew 20:29-34 to the two blind men by the side of the road as Jesus was leaving Jericho.
4. The BLOOD OF JESUS can make the deaf and the mute to hear and speak. In Mark 7:31-35 all Jesus said was “Ephphatha; be opened!” That settled every issue of deafness and dumbness.
Someone reading this book that until now has been unable to hear God is healed right now in Jesus name.
5. The BLOOD OF JESUS can heal the mind also. In Matthew 17:14-17 we see what the BLOOD OF JESUS can do to heal the mind when it brought a man’s epileptic son back to normal and Luke 8:26-33 when a demon-possessed man was brought back to sanity.
6. The BLOOD OF JESUS can heal internal organs, because in Luke 8:43-47 we see a woman with fibrosis who had been bleeding continuously for 12 years was healed in an instant.
7. The BLOOD OF JESUS can heal skin diseases. In Luke 5:12-13 a leprous man was miraculously head. General Naaman was also healed of leprosy in 2 Kings 5:14-17.
8. The BLOOD OF JESUS does not discriminate by the day or time. In Matthew 8:16-17, people were brought before Jesus at night and He healed them. A withered hand was restored on the Sabbath in Matthew 12:9-13.
That BLOOD OF JESUS is going to be demonstrated in your body right now as you pray the following prayers;
1. (Focus on one thing at a time. If you have any sickness on your body, lay your hands on the place and pray like this): O Lord, Let your BLOOD OF JESUS heal me of (name the sickness) now by the Blood of JesusAmen!
2. I command every arrow of sickness fired into my body, come out now by the Blood of Jesus. Amen!
3. I command every lame testimony afflicting my destiny to walk now by the Blood of Jesus. Amen!
