Psalm 119:89-90
89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
I am entitling this today: You’re My Help Jesus, You’re My Help
The first thing that we need to realize is that God’s Word is eternal.
God’s Word is settled in Heaven.
God’s faithfulness is to all generations; it was not just to our parents and grandparents, but to all generations.
All man made religions and laws change constantly, but the Word of God never changes.
God’s Word is still the same as it was yesterday and is still able to set the captives free.
The Heavens are God’s creation and are upheld by His Word.
His word is active and alive and able to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Psalm 119:93
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
Church, we need to know what God’s Word says.
Ho 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Knowledge about God and His Word is something that has to be passed on.
Knowledge is something that we know, if we refuse to know God then He will reject us.
Church, we need to know what is recorded in the Bible so we can know what we can have from God.
Psalm 119:94
I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
How many know that we are not our own?
How many know that we were bought with a price?
Jesus purchased us when He went to the Cross.
He gave His life that we might have life through him.
When it says I am thine, it is saying I am yours God.
The word “save” signifies preservation through trials and opposition.
Jas 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
Church, we need the Word in our lives.
Psalm 119:95
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
How many know that we have an enemy of our souls?
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
We have an enemy that wants to destroy our walk with the lord.
Look at your neighbor and say; “You’re my help Jesus, you’re my help”.
Whenever Satan and his demons come against you in your walk of faith, remember that you are not your own, you are the property of Jesus Christ.
Remember those who overcome their situations in the Word of God.
Read about how it went down.
Expect God to move in your situations just as He did in times past.
Daniel, a man of prayer, was thrown into a lions’ den but he knew the God he served would bring him out.
We need to become men and women of prayer, that when adversity comes our way we will just step into the storm and expect God to move.
Dream 9-19-04
I dreamed that I was in the church Sanctuary. There were other people in the Sanctuary. The lights were off. The only lights that you could see came from the outside. I was talking to Kim about miracles. Out of the blue, I said to Kim, “What was I just talking about?” She said that she did not know. I said I just told you 5 minutes ago. I was in the front pew. I must have been lying down. I noticed that it was dark, dark. The Holy Spirit picked me up and He sat me up in the pew. I couldn’t believe how dark it was. I was thinking that He was going to take me somewhere. I cried out “You’re My Help, Jesus, You’re My Help”.
Interpretation:
I was in the sanctuary, there were others there, and we were sitting in the dark.
I was talking to Kim about Miracles; remember, she received one in the beginning of 2004.
5 minutes later I asked her what I was talking about, she forgot.
Don’t forget what God has done for you.
I believe that this is exactly what has happened to her, she has forgotten what God did for her.
To him much is given much is required.
I was lying in the dark, but God sat me up.
He wants me to pay attention to what is going on.
A lot of times we are in the dark, we don’t know what is going to happen.
God knew at the time I had this dream, I told Kim not to forget what God has done.
Church, don’t forget what God has done.
Too much is given much is required.
God does not want me to sleep, so He picked me up and sat me in the front pew.
Are we sleeping this morning?
Psalm 119:105-107
105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
The only lamp in the Word that produces true spiritual light is the Bible.
The Bible will lead us down the right path.
There will be times that I will be afflicted, and much.
The path of life does lighten and gladden, still it is a path of affliction.
The path that we are on will not always be easy as some might say.
It is a path where we will have to take tests, but if God gives me a test He knows that I can pass it.
You’re my help Jesus, you’re my help.
Psalm 119:113-117
113 I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
115 Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
116 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
117 Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.
God is our hiding place and our shield.
God upholds me according to His Word.
“Uphold me’ and “hold me up’ are noteworthy verbs in the Hebrew text.
They represent God supporting the believer from both above and beneath-carried and at the same time, held by the hand.
Dream 4-15-09
I dreamed that I was observing a woman. The woman was going through a tough time. I noticed a life sized Bible that was in front of her. The Spirit of God opened the life sized Bible. I knew that the Lord was about ready to give her a Word. The woman walked over to the life sized Bible and started to read the Word that God was giving to her. As she read the Word she was standing on the Bible, she, you could say, was standing on the Word. I then noticed that she literally sunk into the Word. I walked over and I looked inside the life sized Bible and I knew that this lady was going to be alright because she was in the Word.
Interpretation
An observing dream, a message dream
This woman was going through a tough time and I notice a life sized Bible.
The Spirit of God opened the life sized Bible. I knew that the Lord was about ready to give her a Word.
The Lord was giving her a sure Word of Prophecy.
2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
The woman walked over to the life sized Bible and started to read the Word that God was giving to her.
As she read the Word she was standing on the Bible, she, you could say was standing on the Word.
God wants to give us a Word this morning: Read the Word and stand upon the Word of God.
2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
God has a sure Word of Prophecy for us. In order to receive it, we have to be willing to dig into the Word of God.
If God has made a promise to us, stand upon the Word of God and don’t be moved by obstacles that are placed before you.
We are given exceedingly great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Lust for this world will tear us away from where God is trying to take us to.
In the dream, I noticed that she literally sunk into the Word.
Maybe what we need to do is sink into the Word of God.
Maybe we need to sink into the Bible!
I walked over and I looked inside the life sized Bible and I knew that this lady was going to be alright because she was in the Word.
Church, if we stay inside the Word we will be all right.
Psalm 34:9
9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
This means that we understand that the Lord says what He means, and means what He says.
Psalm 34:17-19
Ps 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. {unto...: Heb. to the broken of heart} {of a contrite...: Heb. contrite of spirit}
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Maybe this morning you have a broken heart; God has a sure Word of Prophecy for you.
What you need to do is sink into God’s Word! There you will find your answer.
If you need a Word from the Lord, show the Lord that you are serious about Him because He is serious about you.
Maybe this morning you are going through a hard time and you need a Word from the Lord.
Psalms 119:105 says Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
The only lamp in the world that produces true spiritual light is the Bible.
As a Christian, according to Heb 6:5: we have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
If that is the case, then we need to sink into the Word of God, for He is our answer this today.
Maybe you need a sure word of Prophecy that God will give you.
I know, at times, people will speak a Word that they hear from the Lord, but I also know that He will speak to me if I am willing to listen.
I listen by sinking into His Word that has been given to me.
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Jas 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Psalm 119:89-90

Can I ask you a question this morning, “Do you really love Jesus?”
1Jo 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jo 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1Jo 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
Are we keeping His commandments?

God is taking us somewhere this morning, are you willing to go?
