The Bible says in Romans 3:10 “As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one; …”
Up to this point in his letter to the Roman Church … Paul has been building God’s case against
those who refuse to accept Jesus as their Christ.
He also has clearly stated what God has done to provide salvation … or justification by faith.
Therefore Justification is the judicial act where God declares “Just” the sinner men, by faith
accepting Christ’s sacrifice.
¿Which are the consequences of the absence of Justification?
We (humans) were enemies of God (whether you like it or not) Read:
• Psalm 11:5 “The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love
violence his soul hates”.
• Proverbs 3:32 for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his
confidence.
• Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

Men without God live in continue condemnation. Read:
• Psalm 7:11; God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day.
• Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's
wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

Now that we have accepted Jesus as our Christ, what can we expect?
We now have PEACE with God. Why do we need peace with God?
Because these verses tell us that we were sinners and enemies with him before we trusted in
Jesus as our Christ. Jesus on the cross took away the sin. If we are willing … to place our full faith
and trust in him, God sees us as though we have never sinned.
When we trust Jesus as our Christ … we find peace with God.
1. Peace with God. Romans 5:1 Read:
¿How does it feel to know that you have peace with God?

When we surrender our will – quit running … quit resisting – and accept Jesus as our Christ …
we have peace with God.
This simply means that we no longer are at odds with God – the battle is over.
2. No Condemnation. Romans 8:1-32, 34
¿Who is condemned?

Jesus stands in the gap for us, and He is the only one able to do so. Nobody else, nobody!
2. We are dead to sin. Romans 6:6, 8; 1st Peter 2:24
If you have accepted by faith the sacrifice of Jesus in order to be justified before God, ¿What
should be your attitude to sin?
