“THE GIVER OF LIFE”
HER MATURATION
Text: Ps.139:14
Introduction: FOCUS FACTOR
When God created the woman to be able to carry a baby to term and to deliver that baby, he gave her extraordinary capabilities. He built her so that she could do what He had designed her to do. The woman was designed to be able to gestate…to conceive, carry a baby to term, and bring forth this new life into the world. Now, as we will see, God’s design for the woman as life-giver goes beyond her physical abilities. It permeates her entire makeup as a female. Therefore the primary focus of the woman of maturation is to conceive, develop, and give new life to whatever she receives into herself.
During physical pregnancy, the woman’s body undergoes a complete transformation: the lining of her womb thickens in order to create an environment for the new life to develop while it is kept protected, safe and warm;; her hormone levels change to prevent miscarriage; her brain chemistry alters; her nutrients are directed to go first to her unborn baby and secondly to herself; her center of gravity switches so that she can keep her balance while she shares her body with her unborn baby, and many other changes occur. Pregnancy is a remarkable process that shifts the focus and efforts of the woman’s entire body to the task of developing the new life within her womb.
I. THE WOMAN IS AN INCUBATOR (1Sam.1:19-22)
Since God created the woman’s gestational ability as an integral part of her nature, this ability permeates all areas of her life. She has a physical womb, but she also has an emotional womb, a mental womb, and a spiritual womb. She brings forth life in all these areas of her makeup. Everything about her is a womb. She receives things into herself, nurtures them until they mature, and then gives them back in fully developed form. Even as a sperm and egg ends up a fully formed human baby, the woman has the ability to take from the people and the environments around her… especially her husband, if she is married, and creates something entirely new with what she takes in. Many women are unaware that they’re blessed with such an awesome purpose.
Luke 12:48 When a woman receives an idea and incubates it, it becomes something greater…something bigger, stronger, more dynamic. There’s so much to it that she staggers with the weight of it. Whatever you give a woman, she’s going to multiply. If you give her sperm, she’ll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she’ll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she’ll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she’ll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given her. So if you want to develop anything, bring it to a woman. Do you have the beginnings of an idea or a prayer request? Tell a woman. Got an idea for a business. Share it with a woman & she’ll blow it up!!!
II. THE WOMAN IS AN IMMITATOR (Rom.4:17)
The woman is gifted with many creative abilities that can assist her loved ones, herself, and the Kingdom. It is in these giftings that she imitates her creator.
• She sees possibilities and potential—“The earth was without form and void”
• She ponders words, actions, and relationships between things—“Let there be light”
• She conceives and invents—“Let the earth bring forth of its kind and the seas bring forth of its kind”
• She develops ideas, plans, and programs—“The greater light was called the sun and the lesser light was called the moon…”
• She protects what she has received while it develops—“…let us make man in our image”; “…and God place the man in which he made in the Garden”.
• She produces something new from what she receives—“…and the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman”
• She multiplies what she is given—“…go, be fruitful and multiply…”
The woman is an entire research and development department all in one. She reflects the nature of her Creator who “…gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were” Rom.4:17!!!!
III. THE WOMAN IS A DEVELOPER (Ps.127:3-5)
a. THE WOMB OF EMOTION (Prov.27:14-15)
A woman can be pregnant with the bitterness that a man has been presenting her for years. At some point, her long-suffering will come to an end and she will be full-term. You must be careful what you say to a woman (women too), because whatever you give or have been giving to a woman, you will receive it back in a different more powerful form. Often, the attitude of a woman is really the “baby” that has resulted from what someone has been giving her.
b. THE WOMB OF THE MIND (Phil.2:5)
The womb of a woman’s mind should operate similarly to that of the bride of the Christ (the church). Jesus gave His bride eleven apostles, plus the apostle Paul. She is still multiplying what He gave her. She’s not going to give Him back just twelve men. She’s going to bring Him millions of men, women, and children. The church is taking the seed of the Word and causing it to multiply into millions of souls so that she can present them to God.
c. THE WOMB OF THE SPIRIT (John 4:23-4)
Just as a womb nourishes a fetus during development and an incubator protects premature or sick babies, a woman has a nurturing instinct that can be a powerful source of help and encouragement in the lives of others.
**CONCLUSION**
“IF ONLY YOU KNEW”
A WOMAN WAS MADE TO GIVE LIFE. THIS MEANS THAT IF YOU NEED SOME LIFE IN YOUR LIFE, GET A LIFE-GIVER. SOME MEN WALK AROUND TRYING TO BE SELF-RELIANT, KEEPING WOMEN AT ARM’S LENGTH. THEY DON’T KNOW THE LIFE THEY ARE MISSING. THERE ARE SOME THINGS IN LIFE THAT NEED A WOMANS TOUCH! (elab…A Man’s Apartment/She changes the countenance of the Apartment). A WOMAN HAS THE ABILITY TO WALK INTO ANY SITUATION OR CIRCUMSTANCE AND CHANGE THE COUNTENANCE, CHANGE THE AURA & ULTIMATELY CHANGE THE OUTCOME. LADIES TAKE WHAT GOD OFFERS YOU, INCUBATE IT…IMMITATE THE FATHER, SPEAK TO IT…DEVELOP IT & GIVE IT LIFE. WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED WITH IT, PRESENT IT BACK TO HIM & HEAR HIM SAY “Well done thy good & faithful servant, thou hast been faithful over a few things, I shall make thee ruler over many”!!!
