Why won’t you let Jesus Bless You?
When Jesus is a big part of your life, you can’t help but be Blessed. The longer you serve Him, the more you realize, He really does know, what He’s doing.
It almost sounds to good to be true, how much God wants to bless us.
But unlike that saying in the world goes, if its to good to be true, it probably is.
Its not with God, He truly loves to bless His children. Sometimes we forget how good serving God really is!!
Psalms 68:19 NKJ
Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation! Selah
When a person finally decides to put God to the test, put Him 1st in their life and start living by kingdom principles and not just reading about them.
Good things start to happen, and happen all the time.
Someone might say, well that’s never happened to me. I’ve been going to church for 40 yrs.
Well maybe you’ve never gave your all before to the Lord, I’m talking about Your time, your talent, your desire, your tithe, your everything.
I’m talking about not holding anythging back!
He’s not a respecter of persons, which means if you are willing to give your all, so is He!!!
The word clearly states, if you take care of Gods business, He will take care of yours
I don’t know about you, but I think He does a better job watching my portfolio then I can, how about you?

I. Living In The Blessings of the Lord!
It is God’s nature to bless His children
God does not keep books on the blessings that He gives to us. If He did we would owe Him more than we even think we did.
With Gods blessings its impossible to overdraft your account, in fact I believe that there are blessings we walk right by, each and everyday.
Unclaimed millions the state of Indiana has, I wonder a many millions of unclaimed blessings God has, that have never been claimed.
Others see God’s blessings upon our lives, as being rationed through out our lives.
Don’t want to ask for to much now, might need one later.
What they fail to understand is: His Blessings are inexhaustible, its not an intermitent thing, both now and later God wants to Bless His Children!!
Too Many people think, the idea of Blessing is just something you do before you eat; or something that is said when a person sneezes.
Still others say “well I don’t want people to think I’m all about money, I just want to remain humble.” Just give me a little cabin over in the corner of glory land.
You stay humble all you want, my bible says that I’m an heir to the world, I have a spiritual inheritance to claim. The Jesus I serve went to prepare a mansion for me.
I have the blessing of Abraham, I’m a child of the King!!
God says He wants to bless me, I WANT WHAT GOD WANTS, don’t you.
Who am I, to keep God from having what He wants!
Matthew 7:11 NKJ
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Parents, you give your kids the best of things don‘t you?,
why would anyone think our heavenly father would do any less for His children???
Ephesians 1:3 NKJ
3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4. just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5. having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
6. to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
We have been chosen in Jesus before the foundation of the world, to receive every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places
And the moment you became a Christian and accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior,
your sins were washed away and you received the righteousness of God thru Christ Jesus.
Vs. 6 says: He made us accepted in the Beloved, which means He was well pleased with Jesus His beloved son,
and since we are in Christ Jesus, He is well pleased with us as well!
The devil and the world, would tell you that you are not qualified to receive the blessings that God has for you,
But the word of God says that you are, you are qualified.
You didn’t do anything to deserve it, you didn’t have to, because Jesus did it all for you, all you have to do is enjoy it. Were talking about the Favor of God, can I get an amen!!
Just like He said to the Children Of Israel, that they would be blessed if they followed Him, you are too!
Only they were under the law and were living under the wonderful grace of Jesus, everything He has, we have through Him, Praise God!
Deuteronomy 28:1 NKJ Tells us in detail, just how much God wants to bless His children!
1. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7. The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
9. The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
10. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11. And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12. The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the ... rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13. And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
All of these blessings are part of your spiritual inheritance,
but unlike the children of Israel who had to keep every letter of the law to receive them which was not humanly possible,
Jesus made it possible, when the old covenant of the law was done away with,
and Grace replaced it.
Jesus Grace and Unmerited favor made it possible to receive all the blessings that God wanted to give to His people all along, but couldn’t!
Jesus selfless act qualified each and every one of us, to walk in each and everyone of the blessings of God.
Praise God!!!!!
In case you haven’t realized it yet, we truly do, serve a God that wants to bless us.
He knows no limits, only the ones we put on Him!
He wants you to dream big, bigger than you ever have!!
He wants you to fly higher than youv’e ever flown.
Jabez really understood the idea of the blessing from God
1 Chronicles 4:10 NKJ
And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory,
that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.
And what did God do, He said O.K. I WILL!

God Bless Me
* No beating around the bush
* No worrying about what others would say
* No worrying that he might get more than he could handle from God
2. God bless me, Indeed; and enlarge my coast
- God give me more than I have
- Give me a greater portion
Were not talking about some hyper-faith movement, but the fact that God has blessings for those who ask.
You have not because you ask not!!
We should come like a child on our birthday expecting great gifts!
Not wondering do I get anything this year?
You say “that sounds greedy”
Look at Jabez again didn’t ask for a new Cadillac; he left it up to God of how to bless him.
And that’s the way to be, because God can think of numerous more ways to Bless you then you can!
We are more than qualified to ask for God’s Blessings, so why aren’t we asking?
* We are Children of the king
* Royal blood flows throw our veins
* We are those that He came to seek and save
* We are the ones that He gave His life for
* We are the ones His Grace set free from the law
Romans 8:16–17 NKJ
16.The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17.and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ..
As long as you are born again, you are a son or daughter of the Most High God.
And God does not just call you His son or daughter. He also calls you “an heir” through Christ.
Which means you are entitled to His Blessings!!
Galatians 4:7 MSG
“But when the time arrived that was set by God the Father, God sent his Son, born among us of a woman,
born under the conditions of the law so that he might redeem those of us who have been kidnapped by the law.
Thus we have been set free to experience our rightful heritage.
You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, "Papa! Father!"
Doesn’t that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child?
And if you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance.”
As a joint heir with Christ Jesus, you inherit everything that He is.
How precious Jesus is to the Father, is how precious you are to the Father.
The way the Father loves Jesus, is the way the Father loves you!
How accepted are you by God today?
Look at Jesus. That is how accepted you are!
Christ is the measure of your acceptance. How favored are you by God?
Look at Jesus, who is seated at the Father’s right hand. You enjoy that same favor today because whatever Christ enjoys, you enjoy!
Expect God’s very best in your life, after all He gave His very best, so you can enjoy the abundant life that He promised to all of us.
