1. LET’S START BY TALKING ABOUT THE JEWISH NATION IN PROPHECY
GOD WANTED THE JEWISH PEOPLE
•••• To be a witness
•••• To His love and glory.
ISAIAH 41:10-12
•••• tells of the promises
•••• God wanted to give to the Jews.
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
“All who rage against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will perish.
“Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. And those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.”
GOD ALSO WANTED
•••• The Jewish Nation
•••• To give His blessings
•••• To the word
GENESIS 12:1-3
The LORD said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people, and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.
I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."
FOR CENTURIES
•••• The world waited to see God’s in person.
•••• He introduced Himself through Jesus.
•••• And through the disciples,
•••• He introduced Himself to the world.
GOD WANTED TO USE THE JEWS
•••• To reveal salvation to the world.
•••• But the Jews rejected Him
•••• And forced Him to shift his focus.
ONCE THE JEWS REJECTED JESUS
•••• God included the Gentiles
•••• And that includes us -
•••• All non-Jews.
THE FIRST THING GOD DID
•••• Was to bring judgment upon Israel.
•••• He let them be taken as slaves to Babylon.
IT WAS DURING THIS TIME
•••• 605BC – 536BC … or 69 years
•••• That God showed the prophet Daniel
•••• His future plan to use Gentiles for His glory
GOD RAISED DANIEL TO INFLUENCE
•••• To have influence in Babylon
•••• By letting him interpret dreams,
•••• Such as when he did that
•••• for King Nebuchadnezzar
THE KING HAD A DREAM
•••• Where there was a big statue of a man.
•••• It was made of metal mixed with clay.
•••• And then a big rock came and smashed it.
THE STONE THEN EXPANDED
•••• And became a huge mountain
•••• That covered the whole world.
DANIEL 2:31-35
"You looked, O king, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay.
"While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were broken to pieces at the same time and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth."
DANIEL TOLD THE KING
•••• The dream was about the future.
•••• He described what each part of it meant.
•••• And how it described kingdoms
•••• That would rise and fall
INCLUDING HOW THE STATUE WAS MADE,
•••• I want to pay close attention
•••• To one part in particular ….
•••• The feet was made from an iron & clay mixture
GOD LATER REVEALED TO DANIEL
•••• The feet was 10 nations.
•••• This union would rise up out of the Roman Empire.
•••• And this union would serve as the base
•••• For the kingdom of the antichrist
THIS 10-NATION UNION
•••• Will expand to control the world,
•••• And then after a short time,
•••• It will be crushed by a
•••• Supernatural force (that is Jesus!)
48 YEARS AFTER THE KING’S DREAM
•••• God gave Daniel another vision.
•••• But there was no statue in this one,
•••• But there were wild beasts
•••• That ate each other.
THE FIRST BEAST WAS BABYLON
•••• It was a lion that had wings like an eagle.
•••• The next was a bear, raised up on one side.
•••• Then a leopard with wings.
•••• The 4th was terrifying & had big iron teeth.
DANIEL 7:7 describes it this way …
"After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.”
THESE TEETH REPRESENT
•••• The European Union ….
•••• It will expand and crush
•••• Other unions under its control.
WHILE DANIEL WAS LOOKING AT THIS 4th BEAST
•••• A little horn grew out
•••• Of the beasts head.
•••• This was the antichrist.
IT QUICKLY DEVOURED THE WHOLE EARTH,
•••• Meaning it became the kingdom
•••• That ruled the earth.
IN DANIEL 7:26
•••• It tells us that this kingdom
•••• Will be destroyed in 31/2 years.
THIS LATER VISION
•••• And its beasts
•••• Corresponded directly to
•••• The earlier vision
•••• And the great statue.
WHY 2 SEPARATE VISIONS?
•••• The first saw the prophecy
•••• From man’s point of view –
•••• Something huge, strong, and beautiful.
THE 2nd VISION
•••• Was seen from God’s point of view –
•••• Terrifying, cruel, ruthless.
IN BOTH VISIONS
It shows the evil Gentile empire
•••• Which serves the antichrist
•••• Is suddenly destroyed supernaturally.
•••• And brings that time to an end.
AGAIN …. LUKE 21:24 –
They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
2. NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT THE “DAY OF THE GENTILES”
WHEN JESUS COMES BACK
•••• And ends the 7-year reign of the antichrist,
•••• that is when the
•••• day of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
WHEN IS THE “DAY OF THE GENTILES”?
•••• It started with Nebuchadnezzar.
•••• It continues today,
•••• And will end with the 2nd Coming of Christ.
TO HAVE JESUS COME BACK
•••• Means the world must be ruled
•••• By one kingdom
•••• Which is run by the antichrist
MANY SMALL KINGDOMS
•••• Have tried to rule the world ….
•••• But have failed.
•••• People like Hitler, etc.
THE ONE WHO WILL SUCCEED
•••• Is still in the future.
•••• It is yet to come.
•••• But it is also --- just around the corner.
HAVE YOU LISTENED TO THE NEWS?
•••• They keep talking about a NEW WORLD ORDER
•••• They talk about the REUNIFICATION OF EUROPE
•••• They talk about a one-world gov’t
•••• And a one world monetary system.
GET READY – IT’S QUICKLY APPROACHING!
HERE IS A QUICK PICTURE

THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE VERY CHARISMATIC.

•••• And He will represent hope and change.
HE WILL UNITE THE WORLD
•••• Into one political, economic, and spiritual entity.

•••• And all nations will follow him.
3. NOW, LET’S DISCUSS THE END TIME CHURCH
THE FALSE PROPHET
•••• Will control all religions.
•••• It will be a religion
•••• That makes people feel good,
•••• But does not make them accountable to God.
DO WE HAVE CHURCHES LIKE THAT TODAY?
•••• Sure!
•••• Some churches today
•••• Don’t talk about sin or hell
•••• Because they want you to be happy!
THIS WILL LAST FOR 7 YEARS.
•••• It will be the worst time in history.
•••• But then God will pour out His wrath
•••• Over this last Gentile empire.
IT WILL BE DESTROYED
•••• By fire and will happen in one hour!
WHEN JESUS RETURNS
•••• He will set up another NEW WORLD ORDER
•••• And it will be the perfect world order.
•••• He will rule justly,
•••• And peace shall be His fruits.
THE DAY OF THE GENTILES
•••• Is quickly coming to a close.
•••• It was hurried in 1948
•••• When Israel came back
•••• Into her land for the 3rd time.
THE TALK ABOUT A NEW WORLD ORDER
•••• Is a lie.
•••• It is really the OLD WORD ORDER
•••• That is being tried once again.
IF YOU GO BACK
•••• To the beginning of mankind ….
•••• You will see one constant
•••• As far as Satan is concerned.
EVERYTHING GOD DOES,
•••• The devil tries to copy.
•••• But everything he does
•••• Is wrapped in confusion and death.
•••• It is like he cannot get it right at all.
WE’VE BEEN TOLD
•••• That in the last days of the church,
•••• All Christians will be unified and glorious.
•••• I don’t think this is how it will be.
THE BIBLE SAYS
•••• And Jesus said many will fall away
•••• Paul said the church will be racked with apostasy.
2 THESSALONIANS 2:3 tell us,
‘Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed ….’
APOSTASY IS DEFINED AS
•••• The falling or turning away
•••• From God and His church.
TURN TO 2 TIMOTHY 3
1-But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2-People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3-without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4-treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - 5-having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. 6-They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7-always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8-Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. -But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone. 10-You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11-persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12-In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13-while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.’
THE APOSTASY ALL STARTED
•••• During the 1920’s in Germany
PEOPLE WERE TAUGHT
•••• the bible must be read as literature
•••• instead of as the inspired word of God
•••• And this opened the floodgates of apostasy!
AGAIN, IN THE 1970’s
•••• We were told to approach God
•••• Like He was one of us …
•••• Instead of a Holy One on the throne in Heaven.
THAT IS WHERE WE ARE TODAY,
•••• We can believe whatever we want
•••• And it is okay,
•••• As long as we are sincere in our belief.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS
•••• There are many sincere people
•••• Who are sincerely going to hell
•••• Because of their apostasy.
AND IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE
•••• As the Last Day approaches.
IN ADDITION TO THE APOSTASY,
•••• We are told that many
•••• Will fall away from the truth
•••• And will follow deceit and lies.
IN 1 TIMOTHY 4:1, Paul wrote,
"The Spirit says that in the Last Days, some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons"
THERE WILL BE MANY CULTS
•••• And we can see many of them now.
ANOTHER AREA THE CHURCH WILL SUFFER IN
•••• Is in the area of confusion.
IN 2 TIMOTHY 4:3-4, Paul also writes,
"For the time will come when the church will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will surround their selves with teachers who will preach what they want to hear, and tey will turn away from the truth so their itchy ears can hear what they want to hear.”
GODLY FAITH IN THE CHURCH
•••• Is being assaulted at record levels,
•••• And true Christians must be careful
•••• Not to be swept away by this tide of false teachings.
ANOTHER THING TO WATCH OUT FOR IS,
•••• A focus on the worldly.
•••• Christians are trying harder than ever
•••• To serve Christ while holding on to the world.
THAT DESCRIBES
•••• The church of Laodicea,
•••• And that describes
•••• The American church today.
IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION
•••• There are seven churches mentioned.
•••• Each church represents seven church periods.
•••• The Laodicean church is the last one.
•••• And then the End Times will be here.
IN THE END TIMES,
•••• The church will not be
•••• A picture of perfection & unity.
•••• It will be a picture of chaos
•••• And ungodly teachings.
TOO MANY CHRISTIANS
•••• Have received Jesus as their Savior,
•••• But have not received Him as their Lord.
TOO MANY CHRISTIANS
•••• Try to walk with Jesus
•••• While keeping one foot
•••• Firmly planted in the world.
AND THERE ARE TOO MANY CHRISTIANS
•••• Who go to church
•••• And proudly sing to Jesus,
•••• ’Wherever I go, I know He will follow.’
AND THOSE CHRISTIANS
•••• Are increasing in number every day.
EVEN THOUGH THEY DENY IT NOW,
•••• There will be many churches
•••• That will be taken to task tomorrow
•••• For what they are doing today.
WE’VE COVERED
•••• The bad news in church prophecy,
•••• But is there any good news? YES.
GOD PROMISES US
•••• That during the End Times,
•••• He will pour out His Spirit
•••• To encourage those who will listen.
THE MESSAGE OF CHURCH PROPHECY
•••• Could not be any clearer.
•••• We must remain fully aware
•••• And scripturally immersed,
•••• Every moment of every day.
4. BUT DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED
SOMETHING IS HAPPENING.
•••• We don’t know what it is,
•••• But we all feel it.
•••• A sense of something about to strike.
VIOLENCE FILL THE EARTH
•••• But everything keeps moving
•••• As if nothing will ever change.
•••• And right is wrong, and wrong is right.
IT IS JUST SUCH A TIME AS THIS
•••• That Jesus said He will return.
TURN TO … LUKE 17:26-30 it reads,

"26Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. 28"It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30"It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
LOOK AT WORLD EVENTS
•••• Every nation is in turmoil,
•••• Hatred is so thick
•••• You can almost feel it.
TOO MANY CHURCHES
•••• Are now pulling inward,
•••• And forgetting the call of Jesus
•••• To save those who are perishing.
ISRAEL IS HATED BY NEARLY EVERYBODY
•••• Just like Zechariah predicted.
•••• Parts of Jerusalem is on the auction block,
•••• Ready to be given to enemies for peace
BUT WE SEE TWO THINGS
•••• That are more important
•••• Than anything else now.
WE SEE THE EUROPEAN NATION
•••• Beginning to take sides against Christianity
•••• And we see the true remnant of Jesus
•••• Becoming stronger in His word
