PERFORMANCE IS PROOF
Acts 4:13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
14And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
Two Godly men practicing the commission of Christ. A good example of Christ keeping his promises to them.
1. Worship by two Faithful men.
Acts 3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
Men of faith together believing God
Men of fight been in battle not church fuss
Men of fruit ,trained, tested, trustworthy
2. Wounded from birth
Acts 3:2And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
Waiting at the porch of gold
Watched the come and go professing
Walking right by him Sabbath after Sabbath
No one stopped to help are pray
3.Witness of Peter and John
Acts 3:6Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Silver and gold have I none
Such as I have grace goodness and plenty
Salvation is of the Lord, great and powerful
4. Walking with Peter And John
Acts 3:7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

He was lifted up by a friend
He leaped up to follow
5.Wonder stirs people
Acts 3:10And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
11And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
Dead traditions were empty
Healing the cripple was evident
Dedication of Peter and John was exciting
6.Religious rulers were full of wrath
Acts 4:1And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
Shows their religious ways as a sham
Stirs a rebellion to the scriptures
Spoils their self-righteous act
7. Revival starts a great one
Acts 4:4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
Preaching the facts
Practicing faith in God
Gods promises of forgiveness and pardon
