2Ki 7:6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
2Ki 7:7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.
2Ki 7:8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.
2Ki 7:9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.

Hell is throwing up a smoke screen today for some of you under the sound of my voice , Heaven has declared , you have Won..but the Devial has put enough smke around you so all you can see is defeat..
History and scripture alike are replete with stories that, at first glance seem to spell out defeat, but in the end proclaim the fact that victory has risen from the ashes of despair.

Great Famine in Syria..
Three lepers. Sitting outside the gate in the middle of a famine.. weaker and weaker..
Death was moving in on them .

And you're going to rub elbows with the elite-- pimps, addicts, thieves, bums, winos, girls who can't keep an address and men who don't care. Liars, cheats, con men-- the class of Skid Row.
And the heartbreak-- underfed kids, beaten kids, molested kids, lost kids, crying kids, homeless kids, hit-and-run kids, broken-arm kids, broken-leg kids, broken-head kids, sick kids, dying kids, dead kids. The old people nobody wants-- the reliefers, the pensioners, the ones who walk the street cold, and those who tried to keep warm and died in a $30 room with an unventilated gas heater. You'll walk your streets and try to pick up the pieces.
Do you have real Revival in your soul? You better have, because you're gonna be teaching a bible study to people with the Tv Blaring and smoking until it chokes you and beer on the table in front of you while you try and teach Gods word to a Lost sinner... Oh there are many things to be discouraged about but there are more things to be encouraged about

Remember with me, if you will those three Hebrews who refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol.
--From the time that the Royal guard took them into custody until the moment they were tossed into the fiery furnace it seemed certain that they had been defeated.
There was something different about these young men..
We need to offer an Apostolic Anointing like never before…
--Even their own response to the King indicates the fact that while they trusted their God, they were not entirely certain about their future.
--Daniel 3:17-18 “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”
--I’m sure that if they could have, those young men would have preferred not to go into that fiery furnace,
--I’m equally sure that the moments before they were cast into it were filled apprehension and uncertainty even as they were supported by their firm faith in God.
--But what I want to tell you tonight is that AFTER the fiery furnace
----After hell had taken it’s best shot…
----The children of God emerged victorious.
The Devil has taken his best shot at you and
Your still standing,
Your still shouting..
WHEN YOU WALK IN FAMINE WALKS OUT..
Galations 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
--And hell had to take a back seat to the testimony of the righteous.
--The king and his advisors, people who were influential in the kingdom gathered around those three men and marveled at the fact that their hair is not even singed, there’s no smell of smoke on their clothes…
--And where, oh where, is that fourth man that was in the fire.
--Daniel doesn’t record any statement from those three Hebrew’s but I can just imagine the renewed confidence in their voice as they began to proclaim again the goodness of their God.
--All fear was gone from their voices, all apprehension faded away as they faced their world with the knowledge, Hell tried to beat me and it faile, the devil tried to silence me and he can’t… It’s our turn now.
--In the passage of a few verses, defeat turns into victory and a national revival breaks out.
Daniel was another young man who was faithful to God and faithful in his prayers.
--Hell couldn’t stand his faithfulness and endeavored to destroy him.
--In a diabolical plot conceived within the heart of hell.
--This righteous man, because of his faithfulness, was dragged before the king and cast into a den of hungry lions.
--It was the best thing that hell could come up with!
--The devil took his best shot!
--And that evening when the king sealed the door to the lions den it seemed that Daniel’s prayers had been silenced and defeat was imminent.
--But the next morning when the king came anxiously to find out the fate of Daniel instead of the agony of defeat he was greeted with a proclamation of victory.
--They brought him up out of the lion’s den and the bible says that they inspected him, but no manner of hurt was found upon him.
--All of a sudden Hell had to take a backseat to the testimony of the righteous.
--As Daniel proclaimed the identity of the One True God, a situation that had once looked like a defeat blossomed into great victory as a national revival broke out!
Blind man..Sitting by the road side begging… but he had had enough, he was going to get the attention of the MAN….
Jesus he had to decide..

WHAT YOU THOUGH WAS DEAD IS REALLY A MIRACLE WAITING TO HAPPEN..
THE ISRAELITES WERE LIVING IN AN ERA WHERE THEY WERE SERVING GOD HALF-HEARTEDLY. THEY WERE TRYING TO DO RIGHT IN THE SIGHT OF GOD BUT THEY WERE TRYING TO HOLD ONTO THINGS THAT THEY SHOULDN'T. GOD TOLD JOASH THRU ELISHA THAT ISRAEL WOULD CONSUME THE SYRIANS. BUT THRU JOASH'S HALF HEARTED EFFORT THEY WERE ONLY GOING TO SMITE THEM THREE TIMES! THAT IS WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT FOR THE LEADERSHIP OR THE HEAD OF THE HOME TO GIVE IT A WHOLE HEARTED EFFORT, BECAUSE WE ARE AN EXAMPLE TO THEM!
In the past year I’ve seen the attacks of the enemy upon the church.
--I’ve watched as Hell has sought to sidetrack and derail the people of God.
--I’ve watched as people have struggled with troubles and trials.
--I’ve wept with people in times of sorrow and sympathized with people in what seemed to be defeat.
--But I’ve come today to make a declaration to hell
--You’ve had your turn.
--You’ve taken your best shot.

Hell thought he’d steal your victory in 2008.
--Your enemy was certain that by now you’d be somewhere else doing something else.
--He gathered his forces and hit you with his best shot and he was certain he’d knock you out of the fight long before now.
--Perhaps at first glance it looked as if you’d been defeated.
--Perhaps for a moment the fog of your circumstance caused it to appear that defeat was immanent.
--But here we are, at the first of a brand new year and we are still here!
Don’t grow weary
--I’ve come to admonish you today not to grow weary in the storm.
--If hell could kill you, he already would’ve.
--If he could defeat you, you would have been beaten long ago.
--The only way that hell can defeat you is if you grow weary and quit the fight.
--But I’ve come today to join my voice with Paul’s and admonish you:
-----Galations 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
--I firmly believe that this year is our season
--And if we faint not, we are about to see the mighty hand of God as never before.

--We’ve endured a lot, we’ve come thru a lot, but we’ve emerged from the storm and we are still here – and it’s our turn now!

My worship, my music and singing have been copied, mimicked, and duplicated.
But like the magicians, who cast down their rods before Moses, although they try to duplicate the real, they still didn’t have the message.
As Moses had the only message of deliverance,
I alone have the message of deliverance for a lost and dying
world.
I alone have the keys to eternal life.
I alone have the message that sets men free.
I alone have the truth.
I alone have the revelation of who Jesus really is,
I alone am the bride of Christ,
I alone know the truth of being born again of water and spirit.
I alone baptize in the only Name under heaven given among men whereby we Must be saved.
I alone have a world to reach.

Winston Churchill who was giving a commencement address. “After enduring a lengthy introduction, Churchill is reported to have risen from his seat,strode to the podium and stared fixedly at his audience of new graduates. "Never give up!" he pronounced solemnly. Churchill then turned, walked back to his chair and sat down. As the stunned students momentarily sat in silence, Churchill, with perfect timing, once again rose from his chair, returned to the podium and again announced, "Never give up!" Now, terrified they might respond improperly, the audience never uttered a squeak as their speaker once again returned to his seat. Sure enough, Churchill returned to the podium again, and again and yet again - five times - each time delivering his single-minded message, "Never give up!" At last, feeling he had exhausted his audience and driven home his point, Churchill himself did give up and returned to the podium no more. But you can be sure that every graduate in that audience never forgot that speech and never forgot that he or she was to "never give up!"”
I want to echo his word tonight as I join my voice with the Apostle Paul.

Heaven is watching,
