Fall of Man
“The Fall of Man” is a term of theology that is not found in The Scriptures; however, the essential fact is a matter of scripture record and of clear reference.
From Genesis to Revelation we see the actions of “The Fall of Man” it cannot be ignored!
Our very actions, the state in which we are in pushes us to a certain destiny, of hopelessness.
You may think that you are in control of your life, but let bad things happen and you realize that you have not control over them.
However, our very actions change the circumstances that surround us.
What are the actions that push us to a certain destiny, of hopelessness?
God’s written Word says; But I fear that somehow you will be led away from your pure and simple devotion to Christ, just as Eve was deceived by the serpent. 2 Corinthians 11:3 (NLT)
What does this mean?
It means that just being a Christian is not enough!
One must grow in their Christian walk, less they are lead astray.
As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 1 Peter 2:2
We are to be like newborn babes, desiring The Word of God, as a newborn babe desires the nurture of pure milk, that they too may grow up to be healthy.
John 10:10 tells us that Satan is the great deceiver and desires nothing more that to have us believe that it is God that places us in this state of certain destiny.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
Scriptures tells us that it is; “The Thief “
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10
No one escapes from this certain destiny of hopelessness!
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-- Romans 5:12
It all began with one man and was resolved by one man.
For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:21
Scripture
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—
13(For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
13Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. And though there was no law to break, since it had not yet been given, (NLT)
14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
15But the free gift is not like the offense.
For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
16And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned.
For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.
17For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
18Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
19For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.
20Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
21so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:12-21
Prayer
Death is Universal
We can be certain that this certain destiny of hopelessness is universal.
No one will escape.
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, Hebrews 9:27
• All go to the house of death
For I know that You will bring me to death, And to the house appointed for all living. Job 30:23
• Wise and Foolish alike will die
For he sees wise men die; Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish, And leave their wealth to others. Psalm 49:10
• Resistance is useless
No one has power over the spirit to retain the spirit, And no one has power in the day of death. There is no release from that war, And wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it. Ecclesiastes 8:8
Sin is Universal
Sin is universal it does not exempt itself because of race, age, location, or education.
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-- Romans 5:12
When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
You see the blood of Adam flows through the veins of every human being.
We all have the inherit likeness of Adam.
We are all drawn to the capturing web of sin.
No one ever escapes, we are all doomed!
The Penalty of Sin is Universal
The penalty of sin is universal and the price must be paid, not by the efforts of mankind, but by the grace of God.
• Only two have escaped
Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2 Kings 2:11
By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Hebrews 11:5
Conclusion
Unless you are Elijah or Enoch then the only hope that you have is Jesus Christ.
Remember what John 10:10 say; The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10
The thief (Satan) has an agenda and it is very clear.
• To Steal
• To Kill
• To Destroy
• To steal your gift of eternal life
• To kill you faith in God
• To destroy your chances of ever-receiving eternal life
However, Jesus Christ has come to give you life and to give it to you more abundantly.
What will you do?
Who will you believe?
The thief (Satan) or Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God?
The Chose is Yours!
