WHAT STATE ARE YOU IN ?
We find ourselves in the wrong state of mine sometimes.
We must understand that where we are is very important to us .
There are four states of man in the Bible lets look at those four.
1. Our creation we were in a state of (Innocence)
Gen. 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
We are made in the image of our Lord.
After his likeness
Can we look at ourselves in the mirror and think we are in Gods likeness.
We have power that God gave us over all things.
2.We have fallen (In Sin)
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
We have some people who are self-righteous not Godly righteous.
Very few seek the Lord.
Many have become unprofitable in Gods work.
Church members cursing
Church members full of bitterness and hate
Ready to get blood at the drop of a hat.
They are full of misery
They are set in their ways no one can change them.
They are out to destroy Gods work and Church
3.As a saved person (We have Grace)
Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Church members forget who saved them.
Many forget where their faith should be.
We cannot do any thing about our souls except through Christ.
To many misuse what God has done ( Running the Church , running pastors off , causing members to leave.)
It is a Gift of God to use for his Glory (Hear that)
It was paid for by his only Son not your money given to the Church.
4. We are Perfected in his ( Glory not our self-righteous ways.)
1st John 3. 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
He is the only way out of this sinful world.
He died for our sins.
Only he can forgive our sins.
All the sins in the whole world is forgivable.
That for every man woman and child.
The first we never regained, the second only our surrender brings liberty, the third can now be entered. Disciples share reproach, Warriors stand for victory.
