There are only two women personally named in Hebrews 11 “The Hall of Fame of Faith”: Sarah the wife of Abraham and Rahab the harlot.

Question: What kind of Faith did Rahab have?
1. Rahab had Courageous Faith! Joshua 2:1-7
Hebrews 11:31 “By faith Rahab the prostitute received the spies in peace and didn’t perish with those who disobeyed.” (HCSB)
Rahab was the only person in Jericho who trusted the God of Israel.

2. Rahab had Confident Faith! Joshua 2:8-11
Faith is only as good as its object!
True saving faith involves “the whole personality”: mind, emotions, and will.
Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (NKJV)
Rahab’s obedience gave evidence of a changed life.
3. Rahab had a Concerned Faith! Joshua 2:12-14
Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.” (NIV)
We are saved because Jesus Christ, who owed no debts, was willing to be become our suretyship for us.
Hebrews 7:22 “So Jesus has also become the guarantee of a better covenant.” (HCSB)

4. Rahab had a Covenant Faith! Joshua 2:15-24
A covenant is simply an agreement, a contract between two or more parties, with certain conditions laid down for all parties to obey.
Isaiah 1:18 “Though your sins are like scarlet, they can be as white as snow. Though your sins are deep red, they can be white like wool.” (NCV)
