THE STEPS TO RECOVERY -
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
Mat 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
On the first sermon that Jesus preached (the Sermon on the Mount known to us as The Beatitudes) Jesus outlined and revealed to the fallen mankind the secret Steps to Recovery. The Guidelines to manage our lives.
R - Rely on the power of God and admit that your own power is not enough to manage your own life
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
E - Encourage yourself through the Spirit of God in prayer.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
C - Commit your life and your will to Christ’s control
Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
O - Obey God’s word rather than the desire of the flesh
Mat 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
V - Voluntarily help others in need when you are in the position or power to do it
Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
E - Examine your heart and repent from all your sins
Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
R – Redeem the time to have a good relationship with all if it is possible
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
Y - Yield yourself to God and be always ready to do His will regardless of risk
Mat 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
