Summary: There are things that we do not see but it’s real. God is the King of the unseen realm called Heaven, but heaven is more real than the natural realm.

Introduction

This is the 2nd part of our series on understanding the kingdom of God.

Let us review our last Sunday’s lesson:

What is a Kingdom?

A state or government, anything conceived as constituting a realm or sphere of independent action or control.

“Kingdom” - means, a domain, dominions, territory, a place where someone rules.

The kingdom is the governing influence of a king over his territory, impacting it with his personal will, purpose and intent, producing a culture, values, morals and lifestyle that reflect the king’s desire and nature for his citizens.

Myles Munroe

I hope it is already clear to us that we already belong to this kingdom.

A broad understanding of God’s kingdom is essential to our faith.

So, in this kingdom there are precepts (direction given as a rule of action or conduct.) or customs, Etiquettes and protocols.

Like I said last Sunday, God’s Word God has provided everything to His children with treasures of information concerning His kingdom and His precepts.

I just want to remind you of this wonderful truth, When we have received Jesus as the Lord of our lives, we immediately moved from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous light.

Our rebirth in the spirit earned us our citizenship in His kingdom and accompanying it is the immeasurable inheritance and blessings.

* In the kingdom of God, we do not function according to what we see in the natural realm.

We move according to what we perceive in the spirit. Remember we both exist in these two worlds.

2 Corinthians 4:18

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

There are things that we do not see but it’s real. God is the King of the unseen realm called Heaven, but heaven is more real than the natural realm.

A certain man who prayed,” Lord, give me a new car”

The Lord answered him with a challenge, “Do you really believe that I am able to give you a brand new car?”

“Yes Lord!” he answered hastily. The Lord reply, “If you really believe that, I want to act that you have already have it”

“No problem Lord” his replied.

The Lord said,“ I want you to start washing that car in your garage”

This man in obedience got a car shampoo and foam and started washing the invisible car in their garage.

His wife and his children saw him and thought what is happening to their father.

But this man believed God and received his brand new car!

This is the principle behind this:

Mark 11:24 (God’s Word Translation)

That's why I tell you to have faith that you have already received whatever you pray for, and it will be yours.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, we begin to understand (by revelation knowledge) the will of God.

His Words become alive – the newly spoken Word of God carries that capacity to achieve the very reason they were released.

Isaiah 55:11 (New International Version)

So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Last Sunday, I shared to you one of the secrets of the kingdom is in the “Seed of the word of the word of God”

If we allow the Lord to make known the wealth in his kingdom, we will live with new perspectives and apply the principles of God in the natural word.

There are many things that we don’t understand in His word, but when revelation comes it illumines everything for us.

*In the Kingdom of God giving means receiving.

Let me give you verses, that if we use our natural mind it will blown us away.

Proverbs 11:24 (NIV)

One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

Proverbs 11:24 (The New Living Translation)

Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.

Kawikaan 11:24

Ang taong mapagbigay ay lalong yumayaman, ngunit naghihirap ang tikom na mga kamay.

This is in great contrast what we have learned from the world.

As I said, the teaches us, to hoard in order to gain more, the kingdom says, give to have more.

Luke 6:38 (New International Version)

Give and it will be given to you…

Lucas 6:38

Mag bigay kayo at kayo’y bibigyan ng Diyos.

What I have just shown is a principle of reciprocity.

Reciprocity means, A mutual or cooperative interchange of favors or privileges

Giving to a king places demand on his wealth because a king cannot allow himself to be out-given.

Whatever he receives as a gift he must return in multiply form.

Have you heard of the phrase “You cannot out-give God”?

Giving begets giving. When we give to the king, it begets giving back to us because our generosity attracts the Kings wealth to us.

Giving requires a response from the king.

1 kings 10: 10

And she gave the king 120 talents of gold, large quantities of spices, and precious stones. Never again were so many spices brought in as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

Verse 13

King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired and asked for, besides what he had given her out of his royal bounty. Then she left and returned with her retinue to her own country.

In this area of giving that we need to remind ourselves that this is a principle in the Kingdom, many Christian are giving, out of compulsion only not by revelation.

We must understand that the secrets are in the word, the seed.

Our giving is directly connected to the concept of stewardship against

ownership.

When we feel we own what we have, we have a tendency to grip to it and hold it close to our heart.

The people of God in the old testaments know that when they come to the presence of God they need bring something as their gift.

Proverbs 18:16 (Niv)

A gift opens the way for the giver

and ushers him into the presence of the great.

The king of heaven is the same way. The giver is attracted to the giver and extends His favour.

Conclusion:

Many Christians have no problem with giving but have problem with receiving.

The Kingdom principle is when you give you will surely receive.

The Bible serves as the written record of the principles, promises, and realities of His Kingdom.

Every child of the Kingdom has the legal rights to claim and lay hold of everything the King promised and spoken in His written word.

His Word is one with Him.
