Daniel 2:22 says, “He revealeth the deep and secret things he knoweth what is the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.”
There are some deep secrets that the enemy does not want us to know. The enemy fights fiercely and his manner of fighting is very deceitful. And this battle goes on in the lives of men day and night. The enemy fights without any mercy. It would be unfair to ask a man of thirty to fight a boy of two years. To the enemy it does not matter. The enemy does not care whether a person is an orphan or not. The fact is that the devil is the father of lies, his operation is always tactical. The devil has no honour, and integrity. He has no respect to whatever name you call yourself. He has no respect for university degrees. But one thing is certain; it is easier to destroy your enemy if you have enough information. One of our fathers in the Lord who has gone to be with the Lord now used to sing a song anytime he came to the pulpit. The song is titled: “Everybody has to know who Jesus is, and everybody has to know who satan is.” If you don’t know who satan is you will have him sitting in your sitting room. Ignorance is the greatest enemy of man. In the time of ignorance, the enemy will be in control.
Sometime ago, a university lecturer friend of mine was lecturing in the class and all of a sudden he fell down at the full clear of the class in his suit. Some students were laughing at him while some were feeling sorry for him. Some who wanted to mock him poured water on him and all his clothes were wet. When he opened his eyes and saw the students staring at him, he was highly embarrassed and he decided that it must not happen again. So he went to his home town and his parents promptly took him to the greatest herbalist in town. The herbalist looked at him and said, “Young man, do you want a solution?" He said, “Yes.” The herbalist said, “You will carry a she-goat and put it at your back and go round a market place seven times on a market day." The man said, “But I am a university lecturer, I can’t do that kind of thing. Don’t you know anything more decent than that?” The man said, “University lecturer indeed. Was it not in the university that you fell down?” The lecturer said he was not going to do it. The herbalist said that there is another way out which was to take seven coconuts at the middle of the night to a cross-road naked and break all the seven coconuts there. The man said he could not do that. The herbalist said he was not serious and sent him away. It was then this lecturer ran back to Jesus. During the first prayer meeting that he attended, when the first prayer point was called, he hit his head with his hand and dragged out a red-headed lizard. Since that day, he never slumped again. The goat that he was asked to carry and the coconut that he was asked to break would not have helped the situation. Ignorance is a terrible disease. If you are ignorant, the enemy will prey on you and deal with you.
There are decent people who are ignorant. There is decent ignorance. There is foolish ignorance. Also, we have unconscious ignorance. Physical ignorance is a very bad thing but spiritual ignorance is worst.
Many years ago, I read a story of two children who wanted to surprise their mother on her birthday. These two children were very rich. The first child came and gave her a very big car. The second one came and did not know what to give to his mother. One day, as he was passing through a shop, he saw a parrot, which was very expensive. It was the most expensive thing there so he was curious. He said, “Excuse me, why is this parrot so expensive?” They said, “This is the only parrot that can speak twenty six languages. He bought the parrot and took it to his mother believing that he had given her something very expensive. The following day, very early in the morning, he telephoned the mother: “Mummy how are you and how is the parrot? She said, “I have eaten it.” That is physical ignorance. The spiritual one is worst.
SECRETS THAT THE ENEMY HIDES FROM BELIEVERS
1. He tries to make believers to think that he does not have any limitation.
2. He tries to make believers think that he does not miscalculate. Jesus said, “If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me.” The devil made a mistake and lifted Jesus up. The devil took Paul into prison, but it was a good thing that he did. It was in that prison that the books of Galatians, Philippians, Colossians, I and II Timothy were written. The devil took John into the prison but it was there the book of Revelations was written.
3. The devil cannot plead the blood of Jesus. The devil can do practically everything we do in the house of God but he cannot pray.
4. The devil cannot be at all places at the same time. That is why the Bible says that he walketh about looking for whom to devour.
5. The devil does not know everything.
6. The devil cannot claim God’s promises.
7. The devil can be frightened. James 2:19 says, “Thou believest that there is one God, thou doest well, the devils also believe and tremble.” So it is possible to frighten the devil, it is possible to discourage the enemy. It is possible to frustrate the enemy once you know the strategy to use.
A friend of mine was praying for somebody and during the prayers, three demons showed up and one of the demons gave the man he was praying for a dirty slap and instantly this man fell down. Before you could say Jesus is Lord, he had stopped breathing and was dead. My friend said he looked at the situation and was angry in the spirit. So, he left the man that was on the floor and faced the demons and said, “You came here and slapped one of those I was praying for, I will punish you now. I command the ground to open and swallow you up." Immediately the first demon was swallowed up and he commanded the ground to close up. When the other two saw what happened to their colleagues, they were shaking. The man said to them, “This man that you killed, bring him back to life.” They did and the man said, “Now, the two of you stand at attention.” He could see fear in their eyes. So, as a Christian, if you know what to do, the enemy should be running away from you.
At this juncture, I would like you to pray like this: “Every satanic animal dispatched against me, go back to your sender, in Jesus name.”
FEAR: THE GREATEST ENEMY OF MAN
The truth is that the enemy fears us more than we fear him. When you don’t know what to do you become like a fool. Our greatest enemy therefore is fear. Fear plays into the hands of the devil. Fear will make a strong person become weak. That is why the Bible says, “Fear not, only believe.” It is fear that says that the witch doctor will kill you. It is fear that says you will fall down if you force yourself to work. It is fear that says you will never find somebody who will love you. It is fear that will say that your father has cursed you and nothing will ever work for you. It is fear that will say you are wasting your time praying, come on, go to your village and see the herbalist that is there. It is fear that will say that your sickness will never go away. And it is fear that will give you a long list of people who had the sickness and died. It is fear that will say, “Whenever I had this kind of dream, something happens." Fear is a disaster; fear will weaken us before our enemies. Fear is a weapon of darkness and the enemy uses it against us.
Whenever you see a fellow who claims to represent God and is not mentioning the name of Jesus, know that you have just seen a satanist. Satanists do not specify which god they are referring to. You will not hear a satanist talking of God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The fact that they are calling God somewhere does not mean that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is there. I Corinthians 8:5-7 says, “For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many). But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things and we by Him. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol and their conscience being weak is defiled.”
The kingdom of satan runs contrary to the kingdom of God. We have the Holy Spirit and they have their own spirit, which is evil. We have the blood of Jesus; they have the blood of their animals. They have a spiritual counterfeit of whatever we have.
Another secret of the enemy is seduction. They seduce people and begin to manipulate them. They will first of all give you an evil prophecy to put fear into you and then start their manipulation. Manipulation is the key of domination. These evil prophets give people more problems so that they will keep coming back to them.
Another satanic secret is the use of food. The enemy uses food a lot against people. There is an enchanting power in food and this has destroyed so many people. It was food that made Adam and Eve to fall. It made Esau to lose his birthright. It is still relevant today. In these last days, you have to be careful of what you eat and where you eat it. The enemy has pushed a lot of things into the market. You have to pray on your food and be sure of what you are eating. There is an enchanting power to cage people. You must teach your children to be careful with what they eat. In the schools, they celebrate birthday and bring all kind of foods. Educate them so that they will not have their brains transferred.
Another secret of the enemy is that the worst attack of the enemy comes during sleep. Many will have to learn the principle of anointing themselves before they sleep, especially if they know that they are always facing serious dream attacks. The enemy picks the hour of sleep because it is the hour, when people are least alert.
Another secret is the use of black clothes. When you see a person who is not mourning constantly wearing black, you are looking at a satanic agent. Another secret of the enemy is seeing goats in the dream. If you have ever seen a goat or goats in your dream, it is a bad sign. Goat is the opposite of the Lamb of God. It is a perversion of the Lamb of God. It is evidence that there is an aggressive sexual agent working against your life. That kind of goat must be killed as soon as you wake up. You can pray like this: “Every satanic goat in the dream, die, in the name of Jesus.”
Another secret of the enemy is the use of satanic wall geckoes.
Another secret of the enemy is the use of candles to cause destruction. Perhaps there are powers lighting candles against you now, you need to pray to deal with them.
Another secret is Friday and Saturday nights. They are the most dangerous days in the week. Whatever you do and wherever you are try to be spiritually alert on those two days.
Another secret is the use of the full moon. Anytime there is full moon, there is a lot of spiritual killing, rituals and satanic activities going on in the heavenlies. Those are the nights you should point to the heaven and say, “The sun shall not smite me by day nor the moon by night.” Whenever you see your children drawing satanic things in their books know that witchcraft has crept in. You have to start praying. Or when you see a child who is wicked, you better be careful. When you see a child always reading books on horror and crime, know that witchcraft has entered your house.
WHAT DO WE DO AS CHRISTIANS?
In the book of Exodus 7:10-12, we see the principle of fighting back. These principles can be classified into four.
It says, “And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the Lord had commanded, and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servant and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers, now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod and they became serpents but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.”
The first principle is to recognize that the enemy has some powers. We don’t teach people that the enemy has no powers. If not, these people would not have succeeded in turning their rods into serpents.
The second principle is to recognize that the power of God is ultimate. Exodus 8:16-19 say, “And the Lord said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land that it may become lice, throughout all the land of Egypt. And they did so for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and smote the dust of the earth and it became lice in man and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice through out all the land of Egypt. And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice but they could not, so there were lice upon man and upon beast. Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and he hearkened not unto them as the Lord had said.”
The third principle is to resist the power of the devil The Bible says, “Resist the devil and he will flee.”
The fourth principle is to rely on the power of God.

1. Every covenant of darkness of my father’s house, break, in the name of Jesus.
2. The star of my life, arise, come out of every witchcraft cage, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every satanic calendar for my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
4. If you are standing at the edge of my breakthrough to steal from me, clear away, in Jesus' name.
5. Satanic Red Sea confronting my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Satanic Jericho confronting my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Goliath of darkness confronting my destiny, what are you waiting for? Die, in the name of Jesus.
