He did not come merely to preach a Gospel; He is the Gospel.
He did not come merely to give bread; He said, “I am the bread.”
He did not come merely to shed light; He said, “I am the light.”
He did not come merely to show the door; He said, “I am the door.”
He did not come merely to point the way; He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Who Is This Jesus?
Everyone’s trying to figure out who Jesus is.
The religious leaders were offended when Jesus forgave a man’s sins; they said, "Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
When Jesus stills a storm, his disciples ask, "Who is this that even the winds and the waves obey him?" (4:41).
In his home town of Nazareth the people ask, "Where did Jesus get this ability?" (6:2).
The demons know who Jesus is.
A demon cries out, "I know who you are, the Holy One of God" (1:24).
A demons they cried out, "You are God’s Son" (3:11).
The man with a legion of demons calls Jesus "the Son of the Most High God" (5:7).
The Disciples Have Figure Out Who Jesus Is!
No sooner than they think they have Jesus figured out and he takes them to new places, asks them to consider new thoughts, new ways of living, shows them another side of who He is .
This may be why the early Christian Church was called "The Way".
They were part of a journey -- following Jesus, not knowing where they were going, or what laid ahead.
“Who do men say that I am?”
Listen, you’d better know what people say about Jesus.
How can you help them if you don’t know them?
How can you communicate with them if you don’t know what they think?
We have to remember what It was like to be lost, to be without hope, to remember what it was like to think, things could bring us happiness!
We have to remember what we thought about the church, or about people that went to church! (Sometimes we saw people who went to church and they were so mean and cruel)
A few years ago, back in 1990, the USA was involved in what was known as the Persian Gulf War. Troops took on the Iraqi forces out in the desert of Kuwait. In those two months, January and February, the USA won an outstanding victory, and had relatively few casualties. One of the interesting things about that war was that the majority of our troops weren’t injured or killed by the enemy. They were the victims of what is called “friendly fire,” from artillery. Friendly fire is where you are hit by ammunition by your own troops. In other words, it’s where your own soldiers become your worst enemy. You can’t prepare for it, and you never see it coming. Right now in the church today, our biggest enemies aren’t from outside, they’re from within. The weapons that are used aren’t rifles and missiles. It’s our own words and attitudes. A lot of fellow church members are seriously wounded because the results of friendly fire. Nonbelievers avoid some of our churches because they know they’ll be landing in the middle of a war zone. How many of our church folk become victims of friendly fire? How many times have you been a victim of friendly fire? More important, how many times have you attacked a fellow brother or sister with friendly fire?

Wal-mart-You represent this company, how you act , how you treat people reflects what people thinks about this company!
How You Live Your Life Says A Lot About Who You Believe Jesus Is!
Who do you say that He is?
That’s where the rubber meets the road!
Who you believe He is, is going to impact your life!
Do you believe He was just a prophet, a good man, a good teacher, or do you believe He was and is God Son who died for you sins, and rose from the dead!
Then you need to say it and you need to say it out loud!
