THE HUNDREDFOLD OF GOD’S BLESSINGS
Mark 4:1-10
1 And again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea.
2 Then He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in His teaching:
3 "Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.
4 And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it.
5 Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth.
6 But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away.
7 And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop.
8 But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."
9 And He said to them, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"
10 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable.
Mark 4:13-14
13 And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?
14 The sower sows the word.
Mark 4:15-20
15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.
16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.
18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,
19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."
Mark 4:21-22
21 Also He said to them, "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand?
22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.
Mark 4:23-29
23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."
24 Then He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.
25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him."
26 And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.
28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head.
29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come."
Notice:
Mark 4:13-14

• What Jesus is teaching is how to live in the hundredfold blessings of God
The maximum blessing of God!
MAXIMUM……Healing
…….Peace
……..Prosperity
.……Authority
• I don’t know about you - but - I want the fullness of God
> I want more than a sip……I want the whole glass
What Jesus is teaching (Doctrine)
What He was teaching was…
how to live in the fullness of what God Has for us
• “This is the highest order of all the parables”
• “If you can get this parable you can get them all”

Jesus began this teaching by saying..
• 14 The sower sows the (SEED) The word.

Here is a revelation in the Word of God!
• The bible says…….That we have been
1 Peter 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, ………
In other words – the - word is incorruptible
You can’t corrupt the word
The word is pure….powerful….unadulterated
……is sharper than any two edged sword
The word will work in any situation!!!
LISTEN…
If you were to put the word in something contaminated
…..THE WORD WILL CLEAN IT
Contamination – cannot - contaminate the word!!!!
If I put the word in something - “FOUL”
…………….The word will clean the word
> The word is incorruptible
> You can’t corrupt the word

Satan does not have the power to corrupt the word

Mark 4 – Tells us…….in v:26
…he said, So is the kingdom of God
1. In other words …This is how the Kingdome of God works
2. The Kingdome of God --------- is this way
Mark 4:26
26 And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
“The Kingdome of God is as if a man speaks the word”
Mark 4:27
27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.
1) I don’t have to have it figured out
2) IT WORKS
3) I don’t have to see it to know its working
4) I don’t have to have an understanding
• I just have to believe!!!
V: 27 And should sleep,
So now I’m at PEACE ……….And should sleep
So --- when I sow the word of God - it needs to be in faith

1) you believe down in your heart
2) turn to the ground (situation) that needs to be changed
3) then put the seed in the ground
4) speak the word
5) take care of your ground everyday

Mark 4:26-27 (NKJV)
26 And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.
1. Did you ever plant a garden?
2. After you plant the seed you can’t see the seed --- can you? expound
3. But you know you have planted a garden
4. My row of green beans…..cucumbers……corn…..tomatoes
5. You say this is going to be a good garden
6. But all you see is dirt!..
7. You say…I love -green beans…..cucumbers……corn…..tomatoes
8. EVERY TIME YOU LOOK AT THE GARDEN……
9. You talk about it….you have faith in the seed
10. But all you see is dirt!..
• You’ll hold fast to your confession
• Heb 4:14 says ………Jesus is the high priest our confession
• Heb 10:23 says……..Hold fast to our confession
(for he is faithful that promised;)
You say…..Look at my row of green beans…..cucumbers……corn…..tomatoes
Why do you say that?
• YOU HAVE SEED IN THE GROUND
> The seed cannot be corrupted by the dirt
> The seed will draw nutrition out of the dirt..use the dirt
> IN FACT
> The seed will draw the strength out of the situation
and use it for its own good
• The seed will turn the bad situation into a good situation
Mark 4:26-27 (NKJV)

27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.
THE BIBLE SAYS
Heb 4:3 - For we which have believed do enter into rest
• If my trust is in the Lord I can sleep
• WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE GROUND OR YOUR SITUATION
Look what else he said
Mark 4:28 (KJV)
28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself;
in other words
1. the SITUATION will turn around
2. the word will bring forth fruit instead of struggle
….first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
• This is why you need to be patient
• The Kingdome of God is a process

• In God’s sovereignty ….God will give you a miracle
Mark 4:29 (KJV)
29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
1) stick with God
2) stay patient
3) hold fast your confession
4) keep saying what God says
5) keep the word in the ground
6) inter into his rest
7) You will reap the entire reward of the seed

If you’re in conflict about something
Maybe you’re in a hard place
Rejoice about it
1 Thess 5:16 - Rejoice evermore.
Speak the word……attitude of gratitude
• God spoke to me one time
• When it stops bothering you
• the devil wont be able to use it against you
• It’s no longer a weapon Satan can use against you
• I was being bothered about something
• God said …..the devil will use it as long as it bothers you
