You can have faith in your heart with doubt in your mind!
Matt 17:20 (NIV)
20 …. if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say (KJV - you shall say) to this mountain, ’Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
• Look at your neighbor and say
Nothing will be impossible to you. ----- (if you say)
T.T. Hebrews 11:6
Q: Is Jesus lying or is He telling the truth?
He said,
……………..if you can understand faith functioning as a seed,
• nothing shall be impossible to you.
Notice He said, ……If you have faith.
………If you have faith as a seed.
Today I’m talking about THE INGREDIENTS FOR BELIEVING GOD
If you have that kind of faith,……….. you will say.
This kind of faith or “BELIEVING GOD” begins to talk.
1. If you have faith, you’ll say.
2. You’ll give commands.
A very important scripture…
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Impossible …..”That’s a very strong word”
……….. Impossible means ---- It can’t be done….
YOU SAY
Q: what can’t be done….
A: You can’t please God without believing Him!
You can’t please God without believing (#1) that he exists and (#2) that he rewards those who earnestly seek him
STOP – Listen closely!!
Our entire walk with God in the Christian faith
…IS A RELATIONSHIP THAT EVOLVES AROUND
1. BELIEVING HIM
2. TRUSTING HIM
3. HAVING FAITH IN HIM
4. HAVING A CONFIDENCE…(#1) that he exists and (#2) that he rewards those who earnestly seek him
In connection to the subject of – the ingredients for believing God
…Listen to this scripture…the bible says

15 You are a God who hides Himself

1) Scoffers
2) Naysayer
3) critics
4) Skeptics
5) Infidels
6) Atheists
• They want to know!… where is your God!!
• Where is HE
Question?:
Can you take them somewhere and say ………here is?
……….look at Him
• NO
• Why
Because God has chosen not to do so!!
If God chose to do so……. He could eliminate the earth of the
• Scoffers
• Naysayer
• Skeptics
• Atheists
• In a moment of time!!!
• He could shake this place
Read carefully!
1) He could reveal himself
2) …….that so everyone who saw him
3) would know HE IS GOD
In a split second he could reveal himself
And no one would be wondering if HE IS GOD
So my question is:---- Why doesn’t HE openly show Himself?
Why doesn’t He allow the skeptics and critics,
to just simply see him?
The answer is: He has chosen not to do so!!!

When you are seeing Him it no longer takes faith
God wants us to have faith!!.. A blind assurance
A blind assurance that produces substance

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
So we walk with Him …by faith

Without faith it is impossible
1) Prayer
2) Sermon
3) Give
We want to be pleasing to God!
Mark 9:14-18 (NIV)
14 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them.
15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.
16 "What are you arguing with them about?" he asked.
17 A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.
18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."
1) Listen: there are some pillars of truth here
2) This man took his child to the disciples to be set free
3) AND - The reason why is……that
4) they had success with people being set free from the clutches of Satan!
But…this boy wasn’t delivered!
STATEMENT:
5) Just because you were prayed for and wasn’t set free (wasn’t delivered)
6) Does not mean - that it’s the will of God!
QUESTION:
7) Why didn’t this boy get set free?
Mark 9:19-21 (NIV)
19 "O unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."
20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, "How long has he been like this?" "From childhood," he answered.
22 "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him.(notice this) But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
Mark 9:23 (NIV)
23 "’If you can’?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." Mark 9:23 (KJV)
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

23 "What do you mean, `If I can’?" Jesus asked. "Anything is possible if a person believes."
Mark 9:24 (AMP)
24 At once the father of the boy gave [an eager, piercing, inarticulate] cry with tears, and he said, Lord, I believe! [Constantly] help my weakness of faith!
STATEMENT: there is a great deal of revelation here!!
NUMBER 1)
This man tried to put the responsibility of his son’s deliverance on Jesus
How many Christians thinking like this today? ..EXPOUND
1) Lord can you help me
2) Will you do this for me
3) If it be your will
4) I know you have the ability
5) It’s up to you God
6) If you want this want me to be delivered….healed…I know you will
# 1) This man tried to put the responsibility of his son’s deliverance on Jesus
v:22 …... But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
Basically the Lord handed the responsibility back to him.
Jesus said..

23 "’If you can’?" said Jesus. (What do you mean if I can?) "Everything is possible for him who believes."
STATEMENT
Jesus said.. Everything is possible for him who believes."
Say it with me
1) Everything is possible for him who believes."

3) Everything is possible for him who believes."
Question: are all things possible to anyone
Answer: No…but…… Everything is possible for him who believes."
There are situations or circumstances in life…
1) that have been told to you that look impossible
2) that seem impossible
3) that look can’t be done
but…… Everything is possible for him who believes

17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

STOP
We have people by the millions leaving everything up to God!!
GOD CAN!!!!
GOD CAN: Open the red sea.
Rain bread out of the sky.
Run water out of a rock!!!!!
GOD CAN!!!!
Yes he can ~ but that’s not the issue.
People are leaving everything up to God!!

Jesus said ….. (What do you mean if I can?) "Everything is possible for him who believes."
NOTICE THIS MAN
1) had not been to bible school
2) did not have the New Testament
3) was not filled with the Spirit
4) did not have the name of Jesus
5) did not go to Father’s House Church
6) He didn’t know a fraction of what you know

POINT:
In this man’s weakness ……….what did he say?
Lord, I believe! [Constantly]
Bro. Hagin said…You can have faith in your heart with doubt in your mind!
So
1) In a difficult time
2) When the bills are stacking up
3) When you have pain in your body
4) When it looks like the flesh is taking over
5) When it looks like a whirlwind of defeat
6) Your children are going wild

People say…….I can’t believe that!
That is not true!! --- They are making a choice not to believe
• Faith is trust and confidence in a person
People say ………Well my faith ………is in this book
But my faith…. is in the one who wrote the book
and ……………………I believe what he said is true
and he loves me
So when a person says I can’t believe him
That’s not true
They chose -- not to believe him
People say I don’t have enough faith!!
NOTICE THIS MAN
did not have the New Testament
is not born again
But did this man have enough faith?
YES!!! With thoughts of doubt in his mind
WHY!!! Because he chose to believe it

Q: Can you believe that
THEN….I told you and its true…
What do you have to decide?
1) Can this be done……Jesus and Peter
2) YES……..it can be done
3) So then………you don’t say you can’t believe it
4) You say……….you chose not to believe it!
Then what do you have to decide?
….is God telling the truth?
THAT’S THE WAY IT IS WITH GOD

It’s God telling you something
