I have title this sermon
The blood of Jesus will never lose its power.
When talking about blood as we know it.....human blood
1. Our Blood has a very short life span.
2. The average person has about ten pints of blood in his or her body.
3. Over half of it is liquid, called plasma
4. And most of the rest of it is made up of red cells,
5. which die after 120 days and are constantly being replaced.
In contrast, one of the most non-perishable thing on earth is gold.
Not even salt water affects it –
even if it lies in it for centuries.
These fact made by Peter, are very encouraging to us:
1 Peter 1:18-19 (NIV)
18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers,
19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
The blood of Jesus certainly is not perishable.
In this verse ...Peter meant to startle us - into seeing a tremendous truth.
The world thinks yhat money is everything,
but Peter intended us to see that it has no spiritual value whatever.
There are no spiritual cash bargains.
In real terms only the blood of Jesus has lasting value.
When heaven and earth vanish, the redeeming power of Christ’s blood will continue.
We talk about “precious metals” such as silver and gold,
but Peter would rather talk about “the precious blood of Christ.”
STATEMENT: It does what money cannot do – it cleanses sinners.
The greatest sin is to say we have no sin.
That is plain self-deception.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8).
T.T. Revelation 12
There is great power in the blood of Jesus
1. It has redeemed us
2. It has cleansed us
3. It’s a part of the atonement
4. It has the power to remove our sins –not just cover our sins –but remove them
Revelation 12:11 (NIV)
11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
The verse is a powerful verse in the Bible;
1. The power of the blood of Jesus –
2. gives us weapons that we can use in our lives
3. It’s a weapon that has never lost his power
4. It’s highly effective.
5. The devil and demons begin to squirm,
i. when you start to talk about the blood of Jesus.
• The blood speaks volumes.
• It tells us that he died and rose again
and defeated the devil.
• The blood… of the every lasting covenant
• You are redeemed by that blood!
• You have been redeemed out of the power of darkness.
• Satan has no power over you.
Do you know that when the blood of Jesus is mentioned,
The devil and demons and all hell trembles?
Did you know every time the blood is mentioned,
heaven and hell remember that day.
• Look at your neighbor and - say that day.
LISTEN!!!! ~
> The devil and demon forces and angels and God Himself,
> when
> the blood of Jesus is mentioned, they remember that day.
every time the blood is mentioned,
heaven and hell remember that day.
What day?
1. That day when Jesus came
2. when He bore our sins and bore our sicknesses
3. and tasted our death and took our curse and was buried
4. and went into
5. Satan’s kingdom and pulled the crown off of his head
1. and took the keys from his hand and rose victorious.
Hallelujah. So, when Satan hears you say:
THE BLOOD OF JESUS
His memory goes back to that day
when he was defeated by Jesus, the Son of the living God.
• He remembers when Jesus took the crown of authority off of his head.
• He remembers when Jesus took the keys.
He remembers that Jesus stood and said:
1. I am He that liveth
2. and was dead
3. and behold I’m alive forever more
4. and I have the keys of death and hell.
• We as believers should
• Rise up in His blood
• Use the Blood!
“There is power, there is power, there is power in the Blood of Jesus.”
There is a power that supersedes every other power.
That power, is a powerful weapons that transforms defeat into victory.
It brings deliverance and protection.
7 BENEFITS WHEN PLEADING THE BLOOD OF JESUS:
1. It gives protection… before adversity strikes. ----- It serves as prevention.
2. Gives physical healing in the body. --- when the Blood of Jesus is brought in.
Isaiah 53:4-5 (KJV)
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
no matter how terrible an infirmity is,
The Blood of Jesus cannot dry up; neither can it lose its power.
Therefore you can plead it a million times, if you want to.
• When you plead the blood of Jesus
• You remind yourself of the everlasting covenant
5. It’s a weapon used battling dark powers. EXPOUND
6. Gives financial protection
If you… plead the Blood of Jesus over your finances
the powers of darkness in will dissipate!
Too many Christians are being robed or cheated.
Pleading the Blood of Jesus, will give you immunity against these things.
7. Cleanses from all sins.
Jesus came to die for the sins of the world and His Blood was shed for us.
You can claim the cleansing power in His Blood and God will open a new chapter in your life.
Romans 10

You can plead the Blood of Jesus, over any and everything;
your spirit, soul and body, your house, car, work, children, spouse, business, as a form of protection or prevention against evil.
You can plead the Blood of Jesus over your journey, the road, the vehicle or aircraft, etc.

The Blood of Jesus is a weapon in battle-; through it,
you can achieve the following:
1. Cleansing
The Blood of Jesus possesses cleansing power.
> If there is any form of dirt of filth in your life or environment, the Blood of Jesus will cleanse them.
2. Deliverance:
the Blood of Jesus, it contains the life of God.
It sets people free from bondage.
3. Protection.
You can tell the Devil that you are OFF limits because of the blood of Jesus!
4: It has Life-giving power:
to revive anyone or anything that is dead.
It could be marriage, finances, business, etc.
5. Breakthrough power.
6. Miracle receiving power
7. Demon-paralyzing power.
A preacher once told me –
His ring-tone on one of my phones is the song:
“Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing Blood, are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb.”
When you plead the Blood of Jesus into any situation, it will eventually bow.
The Bible says:
“And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.”
The Blood was not shed in vain; it was shed for forgiveness,
deliverances,
protection, etc
The Blood of Jesus has the power to overcome anything that confronts you.
However, there is a small condition.
For you to plead the Blood of Jesus and have it work for you:
• You must surrender your life to the Lord Jesus.
You must be completely yielded to Him.
You have a wonderful opportunity today, to invite the overcoming power in the Blood of Jesus, to come into your situation.
Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
O be washed in the blood of the Lamb!
> I encourage you to plead the blood of Jesus in every area of your life!!
> As you plead the Blood of Jesus,
> His liquid raw power, will come
> And marvelous things will begin to take place in your life.
Pray this prayer with me
1. I plead the Blood of Jesus over my life in the Name of Jesus.
2. I command all darkness to be released, by the blood of Jesus.
3. I cut myself off - from every spirit that would come against me, by the blood of Jesus.
4. I command all demonic that would hinder my progress to be roasted, by the blood of Jesus.
5. Every power stealing my virtues die, by the blood of Jesus.
6. Every power evil powers that would hinder my blessings, die, by the blood of Jesus.
7. Any power diverting the blessings of God away from me, your time is up, die now, by the blood of Jesus.
10. Blood of Jesus, pursue my pursuers in the Name of Jesus.
11. Blood of Jesus, arise and fight my battles, in the Name of Jesus.
12. Blood of Jesus, pursue poverty out of my life, in the Name of Jesus.
13. Thank you Father in the name of Jesus
