A NUMBER OF PEOPLE HAVE HEART TROUBLE
DO YOU?
A few months ago the doctor had to go into my heart , I did not know any thing was wrong with it, but there was.
As we know the heart is the center of life, it must work for us to work.
Note: The heart is the center of our fleshly life also before you are saved; but after Christ becomes the Lord of it then he is the center.
Check to see if you have any of the following symptoms.
1. DO YOU HAVE A BITTER HEART?
James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Goad -- sharp, pointed, governed by sin
Garbage --- trash filled with lust.
Gall --- nausea, sickening and hatred.
2. DO YOU HAVE A BROKEN HEART ?
Psalms 34: 18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Broken for the Savior’s Love.
Burden for the sinners that are lost.
Burning for the Spirit’s leadership.
3.DO YOU HAVE A CLEAN HEART ?
Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Corrupted by vice ,disease and the devil.
Contaminated,soiled,spoiled by sin.
Clean heart by new birth.
4 . DO YOU HAVE ACIRCUMCIZED HEART?
Romans 2: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Open for the word of God.
Operated on when you are saved.
Oneness with Christ.
5. DO YOU HAVE A COMPASSIONATE HEART ?
Psalms 55:4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
Jer:4: 19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
Consecrated to Christ The Lord
Concerned for the wicked lost
Careful about helping the sick and lonely.
6. DO YOU HAVE A CONTRITE HEART ?
Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Sorry for sin you did against the Lord.
Sincere in your Christian love.
Swift in lifting the other fellows load.
7. DO YOU HAVE A COVETOUS HEART ?
Never satisfied with substance.
Natural strong desires that are selfish.
Need the Savior and his great salvation.
